A Home Business Question - Should You Have More Than One Income?

Every person in every household should have more than one income. This will create wealth and comfortable lifestyles.

Having a job is great. Working for someone or a corporation gives you self worth and drives you to perform. You can make a great living working for other people.

Unfortunately, the percentage of highly paid executives is very small. This means if you work for someone other than yourself, your income (your salary) is calculated. It is figured into the budget of the company. Your income will grow slowly in the form of raises and bonuses... that's it!

If the company's revenue doubles, will your salary... I don't think so. What's even scarier is the term "budget cuts." If your salary is part of a company budget, then I hope your job is valuable. Sometimes that does not even matter.

Individuals brought up in wealthy families know that multiple streams of income is necessary to achieve wealth. The upper class knows this! Why and how did this important financial information miss the middle class?

Let's put the recession of 2009 into perspective and the loss of jobs across the United States of America. Unemployment rates hit record highs in many parts of the country.

Let's use a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under the age of 4) in this simple example. In this example Mom has a part time job consisting of 2 Business she runs out of home. Dad has a traditional job and 1 business that is out of the home. Mom and Dad work on 2 other Home Businesses together. That is a total of 6 incomes between this household! If Dad looses his job there is still income coming into the home. The loss of one big income stream can be absorbed easier with money still coming in.

This is an example that is very easy to achieve. The possibilities are endless when it comes to finding a simple business.

The ability to supplement your income is easier than you think.
