I have been involved in a number of different network marketing companies and have seen many different network marketing opportunities. The industry is a great way to create a sustainable income but one thing that always stuck out was that most of these companies are not selling a viable product, but rather an opportunity.....a dream. I would look at these companies and their products, which mostly were over priced items or useless products/services that the average consumer would not buy. The only reason why it is being purchased is because it is apart of their autoship or startup package. Many of them would be juices and health supplements, telecommunication products, etc, which do have some usefulness to them, however the market is oversaturated with these products and the ones the MLM companies are selling are over priced. Some of them were services which were far below par in terms of quality and standards of any conventional businesses providing the same services. A LOT of opportunities out there are selling generic coaching and educational products and courses and seminars that you walk away from feeling robbed. I remember signing up for a program (which I will not name to be professional) that delivered such poor quality information products that it was as if the company did the bare minimum to provide a product to adhere with the law so they wouldn't be labeled as a pyramid scheme. Many network marketing companies naturally put more emphasis on the marketing opportunity than the product. In my opinion I feel both the product and the opportunity should hold equal value.
From my experience I have rarely come across a company with a product that delivers so much value that it's new distributors are better off with the product even if they did not make money in the business. Like I said, many people don't join because of the product, they join because of the opportunity within the business. This is the first business I have seen where people not only join because of the business opportunity, but because of the product as well. So since we are on the tpic of a good product and autoship, in my opinion the best product I have ever seen thus far is the one provided by Numis Network.
