Business Woman or Messy Mom?

Do you know that when you meet someone new they form an opinion about you in 7 seconds based on the way you are dressed and how you carry yourself? In this day and age I see so many "dressed down" for things like job interviews, networking meetings, and doing home parties. I personally try to dress nice whenever I leave the house as you never know who you might meet or run in to.

Have you noticed when you go out shopping or anywhere the women that are smartly dressed are offered more service and sooner than you were, even if you were there first? Dress to Impress or Dress for Success!

How does this all relate to your image as a home party consultant? It plays a very important role in your success! Let's just suppose you are out shopping and you are standing in line and you start chatting and your home business comes up. You offer your business card and are dressed in sweatpants and a T-Shirt. This acquaintance you just made probably will not take you seriously as a business woman! Now in this same scenario, you are dressed in a nice pair of dress slacks and a pretty top and your hair is neat and you look like a professional. What kind of impression do you think this woman now has of you? Will you be memorable? You have more of a chance of being remembered and looked upon the pro that you are! Those first impressions count!

Now, you have talked to a hostess and she says all the guests will be in jeans so you can dress comfortable in jeans as well. What are you going to do? You are going to dress for success. In a room full of women in jeans, I guarantee that you will get their attention and will be taken more seriously if you present yourself well.

So you see, it is always important to look your best. You never know when you might be judged! Look smart/be smart! Good luck looking like a pro and here's to being more prosperous!
