When writing a review for your affiliate product, hopefully you take the time and write it honestly. Then you publish it, promote the article and maybe you don't give it much further thought. Hope that is not the case but then you move on to the next project.
Time goes by and you look at the stats and see that your review is still bringing in sales and sign ups to your list. Then you try to figure out what you wrote or what maybe the trend was at this time.
The strangeness of this is there was another review you wrote just a few weeks past and it has not done anything positive for your results. Okay, then we try to analyze the two reviews, what is the difference? The same formula was followed, all of the right information was included, the great headline, the curiosity, the good and the bad and samples of the product. Sadly this one dies on the vine.
Some of the factors that could be the reason for the failure.
The review that was written, that proved to be a winner, could have very vital information or be a super resource to people. These people or ones just like them will keep using this resource over and over. The trends may change but the value of your information remains the same.
What really matters here is you have given a resource to the public based upon maybe your own experience and you put it in layman's language that everyone can understand. That is where the difference lies. The confusion that lies on the internet will cause people to come to you because the less than norm has been preserved.
Your first review was written with the need built as the reader progressed thru all you wrote. When the end was reached the climax of excitement caused the readers to do as you wanted. You did not push anyone into the purchase, you simply created the desire for them to ask themselves, "Where do I get this great product".
So what you have accomplished is writing a review with all of the parts in the proper place and presented in the proper manner. Over all reviews do work for you if they are written correctly and with the reader in mind. Try not to consider the dollar when writing your information. Write what you want the reader to understand and do so in common language. Your success will be consistent.
