Here they are.... (1) Wear a shirt with your logo and website on it...this will typically spark attention and they will at least ask questions. This will open door and could and should eventually lead to sales. (2) Stick a decal or window cling on your car with your website and logo. Again, same as above scenario. (3) Put your business info on your answering machine or voicemail. I personally do not do this but it is a good way to direct people to your site and your opportunity. They can silently check it out without your knowledge and maybe ask you questions after they have visited. (4) Last but not least....Make Some Money!!! Chasing Friends and Family For Sign-ups in Your Home Business? Read This NOW!
OK, so you got a new home based business and your up line has told you to make a list of your friends and family right? Although this may seem like a grand idea at first, I would personally recommend not doing this until you are established and are actually making money. In fact, most of my close friends and family don't even know I have a home business. Read forward and I will explain why I choose not to tell my friends and family and how anyone can easily get people to approach them about their home based business. A few years ago when I was a newbie in the home based business arena I approached my friends and family. At the time that is exactly what my up line had recommended, and not knowing any better, that is exactly what I did. Well, my family and friends thought I was absolutely nuts. First, my family would ask me how much money I was making, which was followed by "Um, well I have only been in a few days." Next, my friends would ask me how much it cost and of course I would tell them and they would look at me in pity as if they didn't have the heart to tell me I had clearly been taken advantage of. Needless to say, not one of my friends and family signed up and it undoubtedly led to the avoidance of them all together down the road. I was embarrassed, and in a few months when it came up in conversation..."Oh, by the way Jessica, how is that home based business stuff going? Have you made any money yet?" Oh I shudder every time I think about how I felt. I didn't make any money, in that endeavor anyway, and my pride was hurt along with my faith in myself. It is absolutely ridiculous to think that bugging your friends and family could be a solid foundation for ANY business. Here is why... (1) They are Unqualified & Not Targeted Most of your Warm Market is NOT interested in starting a home business online and NONE of them came to you...you were the hunter...THIS IS KEY! (2) Quantity- I don't care how many people you know, you will never be able to run enough numbers with your warm market. I eventually learned that my friends and family were the last people on earth I needed to be chasing about my home based business. In fact, I think was easier talking to a total stranger, at least you don't have to look at them on daily basis, and if they say no you had the peace of mind knowing you were probably never going to see them again. A friend or family member, nine times out of ten, is unqualified and will usually make you feel rejected. Again, it is a sheer waste of time to bug, harass, chase or approach your friend s or family about your home based business opportunity. Making money online is NOT appealing to them. Now, if you have a home based business and you would like to get your friends and family involved there are some things you can do to get them to approach you instead of you chasing them. Before you do these things I would highly recommend you research your company...know its background, who established it, how long has it been around, and the ins and outs of the products available. You can't sell anything unless you are knowledgeable about what it is you are selling.Here they are....
