Choices: They Define Us, Or We Define Them?
We face choices every day. They range from simple to complex, and they show us who we are:Wake up early or sleep in?
Let the other driver go or accelerate first?
Bacon cheeseburger or turkey on wheat
Go to the gym or go to happy hour? Whatever choice we make, once chosen, we act on that choice, unless there is a very good reason not to. Perhaps you would choose to accelerate before the other driver. But if you saw a police car, would you still make the same choice? No matter your situation, the choices you've made thus far are neither bad nor good. Choices simply have consequences. Can't avoid late-night fast food? That has a consequence. Save every extra penny you earn? That also has a consequence. There is no such thing as failure. There are only consequences. This is a very powerful concept. Once you understand this, you will realize that YOU are 100% responsible for where you are in life, where you're going, and that you are in complete control. Losers sit back and let life happen to them, then complain when things don't go their way. Knowing that they have complete control over their lives, it's mind-boggling to watch them make the choice to stay average. Don't make the same mistake! One thing most people have in common is that they would like more money. Some want it out of pure greed. Others want it in order to make a serious dent in a given charity. Whatever the reason, the reason they don't have the money they want is because they've made a choice to NOT be rich. To be rich, you must first understand what generates money, and what takes money away. Taking out a loan to spend on a new car, for example, is a "poor" choice. The car does not make you money. It takes money away from you (this is called a liability). But, investing in a network business - for much less than the price of a tank of gas in that new car - can make you money every month (that's called an asset). Investing in assets is how the rich get (and got to be) rich, and how they stay rich. With enough assets, they can buy as many liabilities as they like, because they've already built assets that make money for them. So, what will you choose? I say, make the rich choice.- Ted Sheibar Money isn't the root of all evil -- it's lack of financial education. * Poor: Spend 40+ hours a week building someone else's asset. * Rich: Spend 10+ hours a week building your own asset. It's your choice. Make the choice to be rich. http://www.TheRichChoice.com Article Source: [http://EzineArticles.com/?Choices:-They-Define-Us,-Or-We-Define-Them?&id=5116903] Choices: They Define Us, Or We Define Them?
