In the search for the Holy Grail of home-based businesses, we start off with the enthusiasm of a 12 year old and visions of boatloads of money. Somewhere in between the start of this journey and the end results we become the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of Internet businesses.
We turn from being that decent, enthusiastic, caring and loving individual to that individual that won't even believe his or her own mothers.
We are lied to, led astray, sold things that I would never ever buy for myself or anyone else for that matter. We are sold a bill of goods that we could never unload because we suck at selling. (You never heard that from me)
Does anybody care? Is everybody out for themselves? For that matter, is anybody making any money from the crap they are selling? The Internet Gurus are constantly on the net coming out with new home based business Pre - launches and tell you this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. What they don't tell you is that they don't work out of their homes anymore and they have a staff of about 100 and they need to make over one million dollars a year just to make ends meet. They purport to work from their own home and live the life style with great houses and cars but in reality, they are back where they started, probably still living with their parents and in debt and not happy campers.
So where, in all that is Holy, is this Holy Grail of Home businesses?
What is it that we are looking for in this quest for the perfect home business?
I know what I don't want but what is it that I am willing to accept that can make me a reasonable income.
I know that I don't want to sell. (I hate selling or convincing people to buy anything)
Let see if we can narrow this down so we can at least know where we are going.
I think we need to know that a business has some sort of history or been around for some time with as few complaints as possible.
I think we need to know that the business is legal. (That's a big one) (I really don't like making license plates from the big house)
We also need to know that it has multiple income streams so we can get the best bang from our investment.
We also need to know that the products we will be selling are virtual products or come from a drop shipper. (Make sure they are up to date products and not how to make a rock in three easy steps written by Joe Caveman)
I think that this home-based opportunity should have a fully automated marketing plan in place to let others know that we exist.
We should have our personal web page with the company's information, story and products. (Nicely done not something done in crayon by a third grader)
In fact we should have multiple web pages so we can diversify. (That's not too much to ask, is it?)
We should have a capture page which helps in getting sign-ups or at least people who are interested in the stuff or concepts we are selling.
In fact we should have multiple capture pages. This is so possible clients don't get bored looking at the same page over and over again.
I also think that the most important pieces of the puzzle are: "LEADS" and LEAD GENERATION. Personally, I would put this words in lights blinking wildly because they are that important. Without leads we have nothing. No leads, no money. Right?
Now, where do we find all this stuff in one complete package?
I know where...Will you take a look?
