I am a 16 year-old lady and belong to a special curriculum at our school. Being in Special Science Curriculum is not an easy task or a joke at all. This counts a great number of time to study and a lot of money to spent on especially in doing our Research paper or the thesis. With having many expenses spent on projects, lately, I felt shy to my parents to ask money because we are not the kind of family who is rich and can buy any luxury that will satisfy everyone of us.
I'm not the kind of girl who gives up easily. I always find ways to solve my problems. So, in order to sustain my school needs, I was able to surf the internet that time and was able to apply for a job. After some time, I passed the qualifications for the job. This time, it is an on- line job. I work as an author and I write articles knowing that I write for our school paper for 4 years now. I was able to do my job with heart and with genuine sincerity. I love my job. Do you know why? Because it is not a hindrance for me to be able to concentrate on my studies. Infact, my job helps me in a way that it makes me aware of my grammar when we have an essay writing or any kinds of writing a composition at school. And that aspect made me stand among my classmates.
Everytime I receive my income or payment for my work, I can buy extra things which will give me comfort. The things that will satisfy my needs as lass. With my own money, I don't have to explain to my parents how I was able to purchase things that I need without asking even a single centavo from them. Also, I will be able to produce my savings and spend it for some other time or use it during an emergency. Sometimes, I spend my money for leisure with my friends. But of course, I spend it for food and not for anything else. With my job and studies, there's nothing I could ask for more!
