For example, your subscribers should receive stuff about your niche or a topic in it. It should be obvious why they're receiving that type of information and not some other type. Otherwise, they will be confused about what is happening which leads to confusion about what actions you want them to take in terms of your products.

3 The more you can personally respond to people, on your list or blog, the more you can explain what you're about. Also, the more you can relate your work to their needs and wants. As their understanding increases, or is increasingly established, then the more they're likely to stay with you and buy your products. This is just another way of seeing serving customers as a priority.
