We all have the fear of failing, of making a fool of ourselves. The ones that pluck up the courage to say, 'so what', better to have tried to make something of my life, than stay stuck in my little rut, no matter how comfortable I am. Get too comfortable and you may find you get too lazy. But that's ok life changing opportunities aren't for everyone. Or, do you have courage to take the first step to get out of your comfort zone?

The first step into a new opportunity is amazing and scary, or amazingly scary. It calls for new skills that you may not have; you may find you need to learn new things. Being excited and having the fear of failing is common. Some may even have the fear of succeeding too! How will your life change once you become rich? Perhaps the idea is more exciting than the reality.

But what if you took the first steps towards making a new life for yourself and your family? By doing so you will increase your confidence, learn some great things, and increase your self-worth. Would it be worth the effort then?

When you become an entrepreneur you look at life differently. Problems become challenges which you find a way around because you have gained the confidence to do so by stepping out of your comfort zone. When you increase your self-worth and the value you give to others, new opportunities open up for you and relationships become richer.

Learning how to develop a positive attitude and mindset greatly changes the way you look at life. The feeling of high self-esteem you have reflects in the way that you talk, and in your dealings with others. You may even find you get noticed at work more, by your bosses, because you are working more positively and being more pro-active in finding solutions to work challenges.

Keep your mind open and active. Be skilled enough, creative and confident enough to go for the great opportunities that present themselves - regardless of the present economy.

I know I can speak of these things because it was me, only six months ago. Having finally found the courage to step out of my comfort zone, grab an amazing opportunity, go out and make friends with people and develop successful relationships that really changed my attitude and way of life.

No more do I sit in front of the TV, a real soul and relationship destroyer. I woke up and decided I wanted better things for my family. No more j-o-b, just over broke, at the end of the month. I felt fear; I was scared most of the time. So will you. When I first started I wasn't positive, nor did I feel I could do this. I was on my own for a while until I found a fantastic mentor and a worthwhile business to do at home.

Now, I feel happy and positive. My family's future is looking rosy, and I can sleep at night.
