Once a scammer is caught they just close their site down and open a new one with exactly the same scam. Some of these rip offs have been running for years yet people consistently fall into their trap.

Now there are far too many of these bad sites to list and besides as I explained earlier they soon set up new sites. So the best way to avoid losing your money is to follow a few simple rules.

Rule 1.

If it's sounds too good to be true then it is. It is an obvious but continually overlooked rule. Do not believe everything you read on the web or in the newspaper ads. If you are being offered work that pays far too much for that skill then it most likely is a bit fishy and you should do your research.

Rule 2.

Never pay out any money for a job. They my call it a training fee, a set up fee, administration costs or money for a starter pack. Think about it, why are you paying them for you to work for them, they are the ones that are meant to be paying you. To avoid a large dent in your wallet avoid these types of site like a plague.

Rule 3.

Do your research. The great thing about the internet is that all the information that you need is at your fingertips. Search for the name of the site in your favourite search engine. This should bring up lots of results. You can read what other people are saying about them.

Forums are a great place to ask about a site that you have found or an opportunity or job. There are usually lots of people who are willing to help. Remember if it is a scam then others will have already been scammed before and more than likely a few of them will have vented their anger about being scammed somewhere on the net. All you need to do is search out that information.
