There's undoubtedly some very good training websites out there. Yet, you may have asked yourself: "where do I find the best MLM training." That's a question not easily answered. When online looking for some good MLM training there's a lot of websites that come up that are very distracting and come across too "promotional."
It seems their main purpose is to promote themselves or their courses and such. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about free enterprise and people being able to promote what they want, however, people using the web are looking for quality information first.
3 Things to Look For in a Good MLM Training Website
(1) Quality and Depth of Content:
There's not doubt about it. A good MLM training website needs to be packed full of high quality content. No matter what form that content takes it should teach you more about the subject you're interested in and you should feel like you know at least a little bit more about it after you leave the website. I'm sure you've run across many of the sales letter style websites that do a brilliant job of "selling" you on why you need a product.
I have no problem with a website like that, given it's presented in the right context. However, I for one still use the web for information purposes. When I type in a keyword phrase, I'm looking for an answer to a question or to learn something. I want to leave a website feeling like I know more than I did and have fun along the way.
There are many good examples of this on the web. If you'd like to see what a VERY good, content-rich website looks like, visit rel=nofollow [
http://www.stevepavlina.com]http://www.stevepavlina.com. Notice the quality and depth of the articles Steve writes. I don't necessarily agree with his views on certain things but that's not to say he's not genuine in his writing.
He also promotes affiliate products on his site but does so in a very professional and tactful way. In fact, he'll usually dedicate an entire page reviewing the products he chooses to promote; giving a 100% genuine endorsement for a product he himself would use or does. This is how online business should be.
(2) Layout and Level of Distraction
Continuing to use Steve's website as an example, you can see how clean the layout is and how easy it is to navigate to the different pages. This is how a training website should look. Visitors shouldn't need to struggle to find what they're looking for. I prefer the style of website where the navigation links are on the left side with the content in the middle. The content should be evenly spaced so it's easy to read and retain.
Studies show that people read alot slower on the computer screen than they do on paper so its even more vital your content meets this criteria. I for one, still prefer websites containing articles and written content. I like being able to scan what I'm reading and I don't have the patience to watch a 5 minute video just to ascertain what it's all about.
(3) Authenticity and Genuineness
Oftentimes when you reach an MLM training training website, it's all about training and hype. Even if the person running the website is an MLM expert, you get the sense that they are just trying to sell you something and every word of their copy is meant to promote something.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing.
When looking at a website I love to hear the writers true personality come out in his/her writing. I like a lot of personality and opinions to shine through. Otherwise I feel like I'm reading a textbook.
Look for MLM training websites that promote ideas and concepts in a genuine and authentic way where you can tell it's and actual person writing (or creating) the content rather than a machine. 'm not even so much concerned about whether the content is correct or not because success methods can vary from person to person. I just want to see some personality shine through in the verbiage.
