When I say sell bowls, I don't literally mean you are taking bowls and selling them. Instead go to your local store, buy a few small jars or fishbowls and� go to your local Kinkos or whatever print center you prefer. There you can print off index-sized cards that can have survey questions written on them. These survey questions could be centered around your network marketing opportunity, or around your product or even both. Once you have that setup, go to local businesses and ask if you can setup your fishbowls in their store. The best places to do this typically would be movie rental places, restaurants, or local grocery stores. (Anywhere where there is a lot of customer interaction basically) How you get people to fill out these surveys is that at the end of a duration of time you will come in and collect those leads and pull one from the jar that will be the winner of some sort of prize. One way to get your fish-bowl into someone's business is by telling the owner you will buy the winner something of their product. So a free dinner, movie rental, gift card or whatever. I do suggest collecting these leads on a weekly basis. When I did this I did a whole month long duration, usually by that time people have already forgotten that they filled out anything at all. So when you call them, they can often be pretty misunderstanding of what you are talking about. However, if you call them within a week, you can be more sure that they will probably remember filling out the survey. Make sure on the card you make it VERY blatant that you will be calling them in regards to their answer. That way they know right from the start that you are here to see if they have any interest in your products at all. This can lead to a lot of high quality local people in your area. Put out ten fishbowls in a month that each collect ten leads a week, you are looking at 400 local leads a month! That is quite the lead generator!
