The most important step in making money from home is to overcome procrastination and take action. You have probably researched a lot of ways to make money online, and if you still are not taking any action towards producing results, guess what - you will still be where you are as time passes by.

Let me tell you this simple analogy of cleaning a house. The result you're after is a clean house, right? So would you spend a couple of weeks researching vacuum cleaners, methods to use vacuum cleaners, 10 tips to a clean house, 3 ways to have a clean house now, and so on? Sounds silly, right? You just get in there and do it - take the trash out, pick up and tidy up, mop the floor, and in couple of hours - voila, a clean house!

Guess what - instead of researching and procrastinating you just took action and produced a result you wanted. That's what is very important when working from home - a lot of times home based businesses fail exactly because people never get out of research mode and get into doing mode.

In order to make money from home, you must understand one simple thing, which is probably the most important - research and thinking about what to do will get you nowhere. Taking actions towards results will. The results do not even have to be perfect, as you do more and more of any action, you WILL become better at it.

Limit your research time to maybe 10-15% of the total time you dedicate to your home based business. The rest of the time should be towards creating end results. This way, you will be on your way to success before you know it. Procrastinate another day, and a year will pass and you will wonder why you're still where you are.
