If you're a single father you might feel like you have to be all things to all people. You have to work hard and keep your boss happy at work and then you have to go home and take care of your kids. It can seem like you need more hours in the day to get everything done. However, if you would like to be able to spend more time with your kids and still make a great living a home based business can be a great alternative for a single father.

Working from home will allow you to be a more full time dad. You won't have to spend 40 hours a week or more away from your kids and you'll still be able to make enough money to take care of all of their needs.

Most people who start a home based business like to start part time and this is especially a good idea for a single parent. Obviously you can't just give up your full time job right away if you have children to support. However, starting part time means that you can build up your income while you're still working at your job so that eventually you can be at home full time.

A home based business will not only allow you to spend more time with your kids but it will also allow you to provide a better life for them. Unlike a job when you work for yourself there is no cap to your income. No boss to tell you when you get a raise or when you don't. You can make as much money as you desire and you can give your kids more than any job could ever provide.

Of course more important than money is your time. And this is far and away the best part about working from home. You can spend more time with your kids. You can cook them dinner every night, you can monitor what they watch on TV, you can drop them off at school and kiss them goodnight every single night. No job will ever be able to promise you that.
