3. Get some cheap hosting. You can always buy more expensive hosting later if you need it. However, don't buy the cheapest because of probable limited bandwidth, and definitely don't get free hosting.

4. Make sure you have all the details you need from the host, including passwords, and keep them safe. Especially, get the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) codes that you'll need for uploading your website to the host.
