Job Search Headache - Think Young
Who is going to put you back to work? When is someone going to give you a break? When is this economy going to turn around?Do you think that if you wait it out long enough your life is going to change? Nothing is going to change for you until you make a decision to change it for yourself. What people need to understand is time is fleeting, each day another opportunity passes you by and unless you are aware, it is gone.
Remember when you were younger and anything was possible. If you wanted something bad enough you would do whatever it took to get it. No job was too hard because you saw the reward at the end; you would take anything if it would get you closer to your goal. It seemed so simple back when you were younger.
Why was it such a simple formula before but has become so much harder today? Life becomes so much more complicated when you begin to rely on outside forces to dictate your daily life. When you were younger and you lost your job, you would go out and find another no matter what the pay. Because you knew that every penny you earned would get you closer to what you wanted.
Ok, so the landscape has changed over the last couple of years and you can not find a job to replace your old one. Are you going to wait for the phone to ring with a job offer? You know the phone will be ringing but it will be the bill collectors calling.
I hope I am not going to overstate the obvious here. If you hit a wall you have two choices, the first is to attempt to climb over it, the second is to change course. I'm sorry, I have a third, and you could continue on the same path and run head on into it and expect it to just fall over.
Many of you are looking for someone to throw you a rope, give you a ladder or thinking you could just run into it and expect it to fall. The ones that decided to change direction may have to walk for a bit but soon will find that each wall has an opening. Be it a door or a gate there is always a way through.
So, what am I saying here? Your job search is the wall and you are looking at the door. The door being your computer (the internet). You can find "jobs from working at home" on the internet. You just have to decide to walk through the door.
Back to those simple questions at the top; Q: Who is going to put you back to work? A: You are! Q: When is someone going to give you a break? A: Today, I will make my own breaks! Q: When is this economy going to turn around? A: I can only worry about my own economy!
Open the door to the internet, the world can help you find your jobs from working at home. Do whatever it takes to get what you want.
