Some challenges that FHTM has is in the training of new representatives. The average representative will be asked to refer friends and family to the business by asking them to register their services with them. While in reality, that is all that's being asked, they don't seem to explain how to overcome one of the most common concerns. The warm market approach referring friends and family can be effective, but it isn't for the majority of network marketers based on the high failure rates. Imagine you are attending a lunch with a family member, and she suggests "Have you tried this new product that just came out? If you haven't, you should try as I think it would be great for you." Many people would gladly accept the advice and input from their family.

Now, change the situation from above where your family member is also a representative for the product she suggests. Now when you hear the product suggestion, will your response change? Most people will cast some doubt on the suggestion, as their friend benefits monetarily regardless of whether the product is great for you or not. Even among friends, when one stands to gain monetarily there will naturally be skepticism involved even if the reality is nothing changes.

The key to overcoming the above is to be able to demonstrate the value provided by your products and also market effectively to find people who are actively looking for what you have. As in all marketing, you need to identify where there is a demand and fill it with supply. With a proper prospecting plan to ensure a flow of interested prospects, the FHTM brands and business can provide an unrivaled business opportunity.
