Laid off? Take it as a sign
After being laid -off for the fourth time in 2 years, I decided that this was a sign. It was a sign for me to venture out on my own and start my own business. It was not easy. I had many failures along the way. I tried selling products online on auctions site and market sites. I made great profits, but I also had to keep inventory. I would have to order multiple quantities of several items. My profits were great once the items sold, but many times, I would be sitting on inventory for many months before it was finally all gone.
I needed something that offered me an income without having to have inventory. However, I also needed something that would not take too much time out of my day. I am a mom of two and a college student. I needed to make sure I had enough time for my children and my studies.
Therefore, I did what many others have done before. I searched online. It was so overwhelming the amount of information available online. After researching several sites, I finally found something that works for me. Believe me; I was very skeptical at first. I actually researched them for a month before I joined. Of course, you will find both good and bad reviews, but that happens with anything you research. Nevertheless, just as I felt me being laid-off 4 times in two years was a sign, so was finding this site.
I am no living with worries about anything. When I first started college, I was taking out school loans. Now I am able to pay my tuition every semester. I have a daughter that starts college this year. You will not know the joy I felt when the school tried to send me to the financial aid office to apply for my child's student loans and told them we did not need it. Realize my daughter will be staying on campus at a four-year university.
Tips On Making Money from home:
1. Proofreader
This is very simple and the fastest way to make money. There are many sights on the internet. Everyone wants his or her site to be perfect. This is where you come in; I have searched many sites and have found many spelling and grammar errors. All you have to do is copy the text from the sites into your word processor software and do a spelling and grammar check. Then email the company and advise them they have several errors on their site and give them a list of a few of them. Advise them that for a fee of $10, $20 or whatever you choose, you will provide them with a list of all their errors.
This does not take much time. I normally send out 30 emails a day for this and at least five will respond right away. Some will contact me latter on
2. Marketing
Due to the recession, many companies have had to cut their advertising cost. There is no better time now to take advantage of this. Companies will pay you for each person you send to them. Some require that the person makes a purchase and some do not. You can either do this online or go out and find customers. I have talked to several local businesses about being paid for sending them customers. They will give me a stack of business cards and I have a stamp that I use to stamp the back of the cards with my information. When the person contacts them and makes a purchase or obtains their services, I get a commission. I do this mostly with business that is involved with big-ticket items such as roofers, sidings, a/c units and etc. Best part about it is that I do not go out of my way to get the cards out. I listen to people's conversations while at the grocery store or anywhere and if it sounds like they could use the service of one of the companies I promote then I hand them a card.
3. Surveys
I could not believe the amount of companies that actually will pay or give you free items to take surveys. I have heard about them for several years, but me being the skeptic that I am, I stayed away from them. Now I am so mad at myself for not doing it sooner.
Even if you are not unemployed there is no reason you could not do this in your spare time. You might just fire your boss. For more tips and legitimate work from home opportunities, check out rel=nofollow [
