Making Money Online - The Real Story - MLM-Network Marketing

You sign up with a MLM company as an associate / distributor. Now depending on the company you may have to pay a fee to join. The structure is designed to create a marketing and sales force by paying you not only for sales that you personally make, but also for the sales of other people you get to join the company.

This then allows you to create a down line of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation in the form of a pyramid.

Now depending on the company you may have to become a consumer of the products e.g. certain juice MLM companies require you to order a certain amount of the product monthly - also known as an autoship.

The way you make money is to invite other people to join the company, that person then becomes your down line and you receive a percentage of the sales they then generate.

Some MLM compensation plans can go several levels deep so you would earn 10% on level 1, 5 % on level 2 and so forth depending on how deep the pyramid structure goes.

The most important things to remember when joining any MLM are:-

1) Find out who the Founders are and study the company's track record.
2) Learn exactly what the product is / what are it's benefits.
3) Ask questions about the company - it's products - the compensation plan.
4) Understand any restrictions on selling / Can the product be sold worldwide
5) Talk to other distributors / associates already with the Company
6) Consider using a friend as a Neutral party, ask them how the opportunity looks
7) Take your time to study everything, work out what skills you may need to learn

Always remember that you are only going to be a successful if the company provides you with the support and training required to make sales.

There are many ways to try and generate prospects to your business;-

Word of mouth - talking to friends and colleagues,
Using Social Media sites such as MySpace, YouTube and Facebook,
Leaving flyers around town e.g. cafes, bookshops.
Putting ads in your Local Paper e.g. in the jobs section.
On-line ads e.g. Craigslist,
On-line forums and Blogs.

Please bear in mind that if you do join a company - it will take time for you to learn the ropes and start making sales. Talk to the person who signed you up daily, attend webinars and do something in your business everyday.
