MLM Education - Do You Need It?
How important is education in MLM? Consider the careers where people seem to make the most money: DoctorsLawyers
Real Estate Investors/Successful agents
Entrepreneurs How many years does a doctor invest in education and internship? Is it really necessary? Well, let's see...would you want to have surgery performed by a "doctor" who read one book on the subject or would you prefer someone who completed the full schooling, passed the board exams, and completed a surgical residency? What about lawyers? There are software programs and services from people who are not actually attorneys to prepare your will and handle your estate, or handle a "simple" divorce. I'm not sure I trust that. And what about if you are actually charged with a crime or misdemeanor? Do you want someone with a great education and experience to defend you? Licensed real estate agents must pass exams. Investors can be anybody, but do you think there is a learning curve to be successful? I bet there is! Robert Kiyosaki is a best-selling author for a reason. Markets change, and if you don't understand what is going on you could lose quite a bit of money. Many entrepreneurs had no formal schooling. But they all learned from the school of "hard knocks." And some need to secure loans from investors, so they need to learn how to do that. Loans require business plans to prove the idea is viable. So real world education is needed to be a successful entrepreneur. MLM is a unique type of business because there are no specific degrees or licenses required and the initial investment is not large. This doesn't mean that you can succeed without any education in the industry!
You need to know if you are joining a solid company that will be around for many years. You need to understand your contract to ensure you won't be terminated and to find out if you can retire and still earn a check
You need to understand how your compensation plan works to maximize it
You need to understand how to communicate with people to learn their needs and to mentor them effectively
Diving in to MLM and expecting to make immediate income without any education is unrealistic. In fact, even with the right education there is still a building period during which there is no big income for most people. Patience, perseverance and hard work are required for success! Trying to shortcut the process will only bring frustration and failure. So, find a good mentor with a great system they can plug you into so you can maximize your potential for success!Dale Reynolds [http://dale-reynolds.com]Exposing the Dark Side of MLM [http://learntoearn.bigmlmlies.com]Making MLM Work Article Source: [http://EzineArticles.com/?MLM-Education---Do-You-Need-It?&id=4220963] MLM Education - Do You Need It?
