A short lesson is needed to explain Multi-Level Marketing. There are 3 major means to get goods and services to the consumer: Retail, Direct Sales & Word of Mouth (Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing). MLM is an industry that has been around for some time and unfortunately has gotten a bad rap. Where does the bad rap come from? It is two fold and easy to explain since I promote this type of entrepreneurial enterprise.
First and foremost, Multi-Level Marketing is not a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are illegal and are punishable by Federal Law in many countries. Multi-Level Marketing is often associated with pyramid schemes due to its organizational set up: a Pyramid. If you look at the organizational charts of almost every major corporation, they are setup the same way: a Pyramid. It is a shame that even the most legitimate MLM companies are categorized as schemes!
So, the bad rap comes from two different parties: the marketers and the marketed. The marketers are the people already associated with a company and who are actively promoting the business plan. The marketed are the prospects and people new to the business. Both have faults in creating a bad rap for Multi-Level Marketing.
Here is a breakdown of my argument:
The Marketers: They give high numbers and visions of success without what is truly needed for success. The number of successful home bases businesses is very low, but never mentioned: why is this? People need to know what they are getting into. People need to know exactly what needs to be done to excel in this industry... because anyone can achieve success with an MLM
The Marketed: This is a little more sensitive of an issue because I have been there, in this situation. You may ask yourself: how can someone new to this industry or even someone that is thinking about this industry create a bad rap? Well, it is very simple. It is the perceived notion that the system is quick, easy money. It is an idea that something will happen for little to no work. Come on, who believes this? Well... I did and so do many other people. You have to be careful and research any business
There are a lot of sharks in these waters. Pay attention to the vehicle of the company: what is the product or service? Is it backed with quality?
Know that success is truly achievable if you want it in this industry.
There is a proven formula. There are proven steps.
You will or you won't but... Being Successful at any business requires a great plan.
I will help you avoid the mistakes and set you on a path for success.
There is no better time than NOW! Time is the most valuable thing on the planet and it is all yours. Today is your day. [
