No, what really separates the wealthy from the poor is mailbox money. This is the real secret to wealth. Passive income is how much money you are making on a monthly basis without working.

You could have passive income coming in from real estate. from a business you have built, stock investments, owning a laundromat, or even a parking lot, the list goes on.

Once your passive income exceeds your monthly expenses, you're financially free. You don't have to work for money anymore. Your money needs are taken care of, pure and simple. Your wealth will simply continue to build - As you keep making and reinvesting your earnings, your passive income will continue to grow.

How do you make money while you sleep?

First, decide and commit to your own success. Then pick one field, stay focused and become an expert in that niche.

Let's say you choose the internet, that is a very broad topic in and of itself. You will need to get more targeted than that. There are several ways to make money online: affiliate marketing, article marketing, site flipping, blogging and the list goes on. What is key, is that you choose something, focus like a lazer beam, and commit to seeing it through.

If you get started today, you could retire in 2-5 years. By "retire" I mean having enough passive income that you'll never have to work again, unless you choose to for enjoyment. Now that's financial freedom. That's what simply isn't taught in school. And that's your path to success.
