In my new job I was close to the personnel office. I watched as the company started laying off people. These people were good hard working people that did nothing wrong and needed their jobs. I watched as they were walked to the clock punched out and they handed over there badge. It was painful watching grown men and women crying as they were walked out the gate. I see people all around me at work that there identities are their jobs. That is who they are. That's why you hear about ol' Bob retiring and a couple of years later he passes away with a heart attack. His identity was taken from him and his home life was the price. Hours and hours he worked for the company as his personal life slowly disappeared. His job took his health from all of the stress that he dealt with. Go to work and look at your bosses.
