If it does not then this load will probably be impounded pending further investigation.

Finally, anyone who is looking for these kinds of machines must ensure that quality goods are bought since they could cause a lot of problems in future if they are not accurate. Weights and measures departments in all countries are really hot on checking these machines and if they find anything untoward then that venue can actually be closed down. Although it does not happen very often, there are some unscrupulous retailers who try to under-weigh goods so that they make a larger profit from the public but this is a crime and should be dealt with as such.
