� Your keyword, or keyword phrase, should be very specific. In my opinion, it is better to target one keyword for a landing page.
� You should have the keyword in your heading if possible.e.g. If your landing page is about information on hunting crocs ( sorry I am Australian after all!) Your title could be "Tips for Successful Croc Hunting." Your affiliate product could be an e-book for this highly targeted market.
� It is essential that you have some "live" links. Live links are words, that when you click on them, will take the reader directly to your affiliate link. These can be "covered" by using an Easy Hyper-Link tool. I have found this to be an extremely simple tool to use. You just type in your affiliate link and then in the space below, write the word that you want to make "live." And voila, your link has turned "live."
� Your should try to repeat your keyword or phrase a few times but it should not seem forced. It must fit naturally into the content of the article. There is nothing worse than reading an article that seems made just to be a filler for your keywords.
� I believe that adding an opt-in list is essential. However, this opt-in list must be for a free product that adds value to the reader.
� Your landing page can be the perfect place to pre-sell your affiliate product. You would not stop someone on the street and say," Hey, would you like to buy this product?" Of course not. It would be much better while chatting with someone to say. "Guess what, I have come across this fantastic product and I am so excited I want to share it with you."
� At the end, remember to always include a "Call to Action." This is just to remind your client you have got something great to share.
