Talking to the right people is probably one of the best ways to determine if you can have a legit chance at succeeding in a network marketing company.
Before deciding to join a company, interview as many people as possible who are connected to the company. Your list should include owners, officers managers, employees and even vendors who sell products or services to the company.
If you do nothing else, interview the people who are most likely to know how the company really operates, what it stands for,and how it treats its customers. Who are these people? The distributors, of course.
Before you agree to join a company, ask the person who introduced you to the company to refer you to a dozen [or more] distributors you can interview by phone or in person. Ask for names of individuals with back grounds similar to your own. For example, If you're a school teacher, a nurse, an engineer or a pastor, explain that that you want to talk to people who share your career interests. Also ask to speak to two or three people who joined the company and quit. Interview them and then talk to their sponsors. Every story has two sides to sides. Be objective. Remember. You can find good sponsors in bad MLM companies and bad sponsors in good direct sale companies.
