Looking back on when I started my internet marketing education back in September of 2009, I bought a boat load of training material. Some of it was required and some was a total waste of my money and time! The one piece of material I wished I had was connecting the puzzle pieces of getting my mind right and the company I keep.
Have you heard this before? You will become the person of the top 5 people you spend your time with? In many areas of your life: mindset, character, physical health, and financial status. I promise you, you'll get with their program, end up with a stinking thinking mindset and a broke bank account before they get with yours.
Having the right mindset to be a successful internet entrepreneur requires self discovery for you to protect your mind from being influenced by people, even if they're your close friends and family. I learned emotional connections in relationships that don't serve us towards our goals are the hardest to let go of. Some of these relationships are toxic. Let him go! Let her go! If you're serious about becoming a successful entrepreneur, let it go. If you're serious about getting the right mind set, let it go. Then and only then can you move toward the success you deserve.
The Right Mindset Secrets Of Successful Internet Entrepreneurs
1. Most successful internet entrepreneurs hang with other successful entrepreneurs. Now if you're new to internet marketing this doesn't mean you're not successful because you haven't made millions online yet. Your success is a journey and you're becoming a successful entrepreneur by reading this to get the right mindset.
Action Step: Start hanging with successful entrepreneurs. This can be done in person, the phone, or email. Whatever you can do to be influence by them is key. If you want to be a 30 thousand a yearnaire hang with them. If you really want to be a millionaire, hang with millionaires!
2. Successful entrepreneurs invest in self development, self discovery, internet marketing training. I've heard insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. What I didn't know was how to break the cycle of insanity. Through self development you can learn how to stop the insanity too! Through marketing training you can learn to make money!
Action Step: Spend at least one hour for your self development and personal growth everyday. Start listening to successful people. Get their cds, videos, books, and get on their webinars and conference calls. No money is no excuse! Successful internet entrepreneurs have free info online like this article you're reading. Hire a personal coach and mentor who has already made a million. I can refer a few to you if you don't know any.
3. Two gotta have secrets of successful entrepreneurs: They don't care what people think of them and they take risks. I don't care what people think of me. What I care about is that you stop caring what people think about you because they're going to have an opinion of you whether you're successful or not, nice or mean, poor or rich. Get your mind right, get rich and let them have their opinions!
Action Step: Cut off toxic relationships-TOTALLY! For friends and family who think differently from you, kill your winning attitude and right mindset, selectively spend time with them. I've learned not to share what I'm doing with them because their feedback is whack. It's simple as that.
