Autumn: Try and sell high quantities of your product to hotels and restaurants
Winter: Experiment with hot and cold, sell your ice cream together with a hot Belgian Waffle!

Now you're covering the whole year and one bad season potentially only affects 25% of your income. Your 75% drop of income in the summer now only affects you for about 18% of your yearly income.

Spreading the risk also gives you new experimental breathing space

By spreading the financial risk of your business, you open up new perspectives. If you're only risking 25% of your income, you may start to give it a try to start something new. If there is a negative aspect of doing any business online it would be because of the volume of competition and the fact that so many people are selling the exact same items. When you are trying to run a business it is easy to be down about profits, sales or leads and everything may not seem like its "enough." Maybe you feel like you could be doing more or you think nothing is working. These feelings are completely normal and they happen to even the most successful top earners.

Celebrating your victories helps you feel and see what your future could look like. If you take those happy memories and feelings from your past and keep them in mind when you are doing your marketing, videos, blogging, affirmations or other daily activities you're energy will be positive J.

It may sound silly but imagine a world where nobody smiled; you probably wouldn't smile either and would carry around a frown around the town. What is the purpose of all this? It illustrates that people can use today's bad economy--misfortune-- to profit. How? It all depends on how you look at things.

Yes, many have lost their jobs. Yes, many cannot find traditional work. So where is the opportunity? The opportunity lies in changing our view.

When someone looses his job the first thing he thinks about is being hired by a large stable corporation that has benefits for its employees. However, big stable companies are known to be ruthless. They would fire someone who has a lot of years with the company simply to hire a new person and pay them less to do the same job, thus saving money. There is no company loyalty to the employee.
