Free Prescription Drug Discount Cards - A Financially Rewarding and Charitable Business

The distribution of the prescription drug discount cards is a powerful business model. First, the drug card is free to consumers so there is no buying decision; the first time the card is used by consumers, they realize substantial savings and share the card's usefulness and savings with family and friends. Secondly, the number and frequency of medications tend to increase as the population and cardholders age. Thirdly, financially, distributors benefit each time the cardholder purchases a medication which then provides the distributors possible income throughout their lives.

More and more Americans are searching for a business venture that frees them from the hassles of corporate structure and the expense and monotony of longer commutes to their places of business. In addition, there are several concepts of an ideal business model for these people. One of the concepts would be income potential. Another concept is a substantial retirement income. Also, other concepts include low expenses to start and build the business, little or no risks, the opportunity to work from home, and personal satisfaction. Regardless of the order of your priorities, these concepts include the primary considerations of an ideal business venture. The distribution of free prescription drug discount cards covers most of the concepts of a business with a high level of potential.

The product/service is free to the general public. These discount drug cards used at over 80% of the pharmacies in the United States will save the consumer up to 85%. The average savings is 15% on brand name medications and 55% on generic medications. In addition, the cards never expire, and the cards can be used by family and friends. To enable the card to be consumer friendly, there is no application to complete; the consumer can print the card on any medium from the representative's web site. The savings occur for the consumers when they present the card to the pharmacy; the card provides discounts on all prescription medications not covered by drug insurance (any drug approved by the FDA is included). Another huge savings is the use of the card to provide financial assistance for those in the Medicare "donut hole".

Since nearly fifty million Americans have no medical insurance and prescription coverage, especially those who require multiple or very expensive medications, the escalating cost of prescription drugs has become a financial burden due to unemployment rates and the high cost of medications.

Many questions arise regarding the distribution of prescription discount cards as a powerful business model. One example is that the card is free and no buying decision to the consumer. The distributor is paid each time the card is presented to the pharmacist. The business model is based on the number of times the card is used to increase the distributor's income. Also, the drug card business is not MLM format, but it does allow distributors to receive a commission on the new distributors they recruit.

This drug card is viral by nature. The first time the consumer realizes substantial savings, the card is authenticated in the consumer's mind and the care is often shared with family and friends. As the cardholders age, and the number and frequency of the medications they take increase, the distributor financially benefits through these occurrences.

Since marketing is the essence of any business decision, the prescription card distribution is no exception. For example, as a concern for their patients and clientele, medical clinics, doctor's offices, and social service offices enthusiastically distribute the cards. In return, distributors of these discount cards are providing a community service; medical professionals recognize this service.

This type of business takes time to see significant results, but the business can generate significant income. The philosophical concept behind this concept is "maximum distribution with minimum expense". Therefore, the business concept is accomplished by those who possess extensive contact lists, who have relationships with nonprofit associations, sizable institutions, and medical facilities.

Because of cost and ability to pay, many people in our country do not purchase the medications prescribed by their doctors. An outreach program that provides free financial assistance to those in need of life-saving and other medications for their well-being is a charitable act for others and financially rewarding for the distributor.

One of the nation's leading organizations that sponsor a prescription drug discount card business opportunity is the Community Assistance Program. This program provides each of its outreach coordinators with marketing and recruiting websites, http://www.usarx.org The total start-up cost is $80.00. This fee includes the web sites and 1,000 durable, plastic prescription drug cards. The Community Assistance Program is a subsidiary of National Benefits Builders Inc., which has the highest Better Business Bureau rating of A+.

How to Make Money Using Ecommerce and PayPal

Ecommerce and PayPal sites go hand in hand today with having an online retail website. You must accept credit or debit cards as cash cannot be transmitted and most people do not use money orders. The ability to accept credit cards by a retailer has been proven over and over to add to your total sales volume. People do not carry a lot of cash anymore and in fact will overspend if they can simply use a card. Being able to postpone the actual payment instead of paying cash gives consumers the greater incentive to purchase impulse items that they normally would not buy.

The charge card fees charged by some of the card companies can be pretty stiff for small retailers but all in all those sales would not have been made at all if it were not for the charge cards. Each of the Ecommerce sites provides the retailer with signs and cards that they may display on their tables showing that the retailer accepts credit cards. I did find that at major shows we had to have an extra person on hand to perform the credit card transactions. It does take a few minutes to complete the paperwork but most people that see if you are working just on them will be patient.

For the first two years of our web site presence we did not have an online checkout cart and took only checks and money orders as payment. Although we did well in sales, quite often and much more than we liked, an order was canceled when the buyer could not use their credit cards. PayPal was not yet offering checkout carts outside of eBay so we were somewhat limited as to whom we could partner with in a checkout cart. We did locate a company in Connecticut who not only had a online cart feature but also offered us the ability to use a hand held scanner to make credit card sales at our craft shows. Sales more than doubled when we started accepting the major cards. We did add the PayPal checkout cart to our website when it became available which in turn added even more sales from eBay users.

Some care must be taken however before you sign on the dotted line to assure the fees that are being charged are competitive. The charge card portal fees as they are called, range greatly between different companies. Some charge by the transaction, some charge by the total monthly sales volume and so on. Even a quarter of one percent difference can add up to a substantial amount of money that you will have to pay each month for the service. Get the lowest fees you can find.

You will find that the shopper who would have bought perhaps only one item if it was a cash sale, will purchase two, three or more items when they can be placed on a credit card. The "I'll pay it later" mind set causes them to overspend and of course this works very well for the retailer. Being able to place the major card's logos on your website pages showing you accept credit cards, lends some additional credibility to your web store and shows you are here to stay and are a serious business person.

How to Start a Job With No Start Up Fee

To start a job without any capital is certainly not easy but you do have one tremendous advantage over many people and that is simply this;

You can use the Internet. Yes it is as simple as that. I will give you a 'for example' if I may?

Last summer I became a bit obsessed with what I am about to share with you, but hopefully you will see the logic in what I am about to say.

I work from home and sometimes I just sit out on the porch doing what I am doing right now working from home right?

And quite often people would walk down the road putting cards out, usually on to the front door but sometimes in the mail box (which incidentally is illegal) and they would be for services such as gardening, house painting, dog walking, stuff like that (I am sure that we all get them) anyway here is what used to intrigue me:
About 50% of the cards that people used to put out never had a website address on. Do you know that you can now very easily get a web site up and running completely free of charge?
Telephone books really are a thing of the past; in fact I am amazed that they still even bother to put them out.

To buy cards to put out is not very expensive (apart from the postage) but walking from house to house or putting them on to notice boards takes time and a lot of it. Please do not misunderstand me I used to do it and a lot of it (I was a roofing contractor) and I think that I used to spend more time trying to get jobs than actually doing them.

That was when I I used to live in London I now live in Reno if I was looking for work here I would simply (and yes I really do mean simply) advertise on the Internet because it is free.

All that I would need is a webpage with the title 'My Home Town Roof Repairs' and the search engines would automatically direct anyone that types into Google anything with those three words in the title to my site for free.

This will work with any sort of Business.

Sure there is going to be competition there always has been. Even before computers became so easy to use when I used to arrive a people's homes to give them estimates and there would be other builders there already giving an estimate. Competition is good.

The beauty of the Internet is that it is free, of course putting out cards is fine and stuff like that is great if that what you want to do (do it as well)...

Don't invest in a business, invest in yourself..

Just learn the very basics of using the Internet and you will have a completely free way of attracting business that will stay with you for the rest of your life... where ever you live, and whatever you do

Hi, Max Greene here, thanks for reading my article. I am a qualified instructor for the largest online auction site in the world. Earn Money - Work From Home

It is certainly well known that there are many ways to earn money. For those people who are interested in doing so in their own business which can be operated from home then here is something you may wish to consider.

Most businesses want to improve relationships with their customers, employees, and suppliers. If they have poor relationships with any one of these groups there are certainly negative impacts.

For example it is vitally important to build strong relationships with your customers. You want them to support your company and continue to buy from you. In addition if they feel good about your company, they will most likely refer new business on to you from their contacts. This is a very key way to expand business and it avoids a great deal of expense normally attributable to extensive marketing and sales promotion.

Improving relationships with employees has many significant impacts as well. If employees feel good about their association with your company they will be more motivated which will normally cause them to work harder and more effectively. This will certainly impact the efficiency of your operation and lower your costs accordingly.

A better relationship with your suppliers also has a very beneficial impact on your business. The goods and services which these suppliers provide to your business will be improved and you should receive better response and hopefully lower pricing as well.

The bottom line is that you can build a strong business starting from your home by assisting other companies in improving their relationships with customers, employees, and suppliers. You can help companies do so by creating and implementing campaigns to send out personalized notes and cards.

Most people really enjoy receiving these kinds of notes and cards. It makes them feel that the company values their contribution and patronage. These cards can also be used to obtain valuable comments and feedback which can be used to further improve the company's operation.

Most companies have little time or knowledge when it comes to implementing these types of campaigns. You can learn how to do so effectively and use this information to build a strong new business for yourself.

Normally you would establish a database of people which the company wants to communicate with and include important dates and events which would trigger the distribution of different cards or notes. For example you might arrange to send out birthday cards to the people your clients specify.

In this way you can assist businesses both near and far and help to build a strong business for yourself from home.

This Prize Rebel review will cover the most common questions about this site. What exactly is this site, is it a scam, and how to win the most prizes as possible. Let's get started!

What Is Prize Rebel?

Prize Rebel is a get paid to (GPT) site. What does this mean? It's just a fancy way for saying that you will be rewarded for doing online offers. The offers are usually free, and only take a few minutes to do. The site will reward you for doing an offer with points. These points can then be redeemed for various prizes. Prizes include cards, video games, gift cards, and more.

How Do I Get A Lot Of Points?

Doing the online offers is the main method for getting more points on this site. However, there is a much better way. Instead of doing the offers yourself, you can get points by having other people do offers for you. This can be done by referring your friends to this website. You will then be rewarded with 20% of all the points that each one of your fiends earns. Don't worry, this doesn't come out of their points. Those extra points come right out the site's profit margin!

Are You Sure Prize Rebel Is Not A Scam?

I am a member of this website for a little while now, and I have not been scammed. They have not stolen my email, or put viruses on to my computer. And if you would like to see proof that they send out members' prizes, you can type into your favorite search engine "Prize Rebel proof", and you will see many members with awesome prizes.

How Can Multiple Income Streams Help? What Type Income Is Best?

Multiple income streams can help you make money and worry less about your current job or income stream. Additional income streams can help provide a layer of comfort and security should your situation change. While any additional income may help, there is greater security when you find multiple income streams that grow and do not depend on linear income.

What is linear income?

Linear income is what most jobs and businesses provide. With jobs you get paid X dollars to work per hour or per week. If you are sick, if you are lucky you have sick leave that pays the same, otherwise you do not make money.

What if I am in sales?

Most sales people make X percentage of sales. If you are sick they do not get paid. Perhaps you have a service job. You get paid X amount per job again if you are sick you do not get paid. With any of these you may or may not have income for vacations, but certainly your income does not grow while you are not working.

What is an alternative income?

Residual income is different. When you work 40 hours a week until you get income, then you can take time off and the income will continue to be there and perhaps even grow. Residual income is money now and money later, or getting paid over and over again for working once.

What are the advantages of residual income work?

The other advantage is that this income grows as long as you continue to work as you did or less often. Depending on the way the residual works, you may be able to watch your money grow when the only work you do is to maintenance work. It also will not disappear if you take off for sick leave or vacation. Residual income makes a great and healthy additional income to provide security as it will grow.

How do I make residual income?

There are a variety of ways to make residual income. Some people purchase buildings to rent out, either homes, apartments or business buildings. Others create something and earn royalties for life.

What is the best way to make residual income?

A type that is very good about providing growing residual income is network marketing. This type earns you a percentage of sales on multiple levels. It works great because it also works on leverage, using the power of a team to grow income. Since everyone works at different times income grows with just a little bit of maintenance after getting an income level established. This is what makes it a great additional income source. It may start small, but with work it can grow and be a very healthy income.

How To Start A New Greeting Card Business If You Are A Beginner And Don't Know How To Start

So you have spent a ton of time designing your own greeting cards for the people you love. Your family and friends have all said they are better than Hallmark and you should go into business for yourself selling greeting cards. That sounds good to you because then you could be your own boss, be doing something you enjoy doing and share your talent with the world. The question is how do you start a greeting card business when you are a beginner and you don't know what steps to take after designing your cards?

I would definitely start your business online. This is the best way to test your products and find your market without the massive upfront costs associated with opening a store. Just recently one of the largest greeting card stores in Delaware, Coccia is shutting its doors after 35 years in the business.

Back in February 2010, market research firm Mintel reported that the $11 billion greeting card business was being bombarded by new online competition. It's been staving off threats by introducing creative new cards -- think of the ones with music built-in, or others that allow purchasers to record a personal greeting. But the industry has been merely treading water for a couple of years now after strong growth earlier this decade, the report said.

Today it is not viable to open an offline greeting card business it is certain death. The great thing about an online business is you can sell your greeting cards worldwide, you are not limited to a suburb or city and your overheads are nowhere near the costs of running a bricks and mortar business.

Starting a Greeting Card Business on the Internet still takes planning, so the best way to start to is to write a business plan. A business plan will help you organize your thoughts and better prepare you for selling greeting cards and making it a success. A great place to start is by researching other online greeting card businesses on the internet and start writing down some ideas.

A good business plan should include information on:

A description of your business - what type of cards will your business offer? Who will want your product and how will you market your cards to potential clients? Think about what type of cards you will make in your business; are they romantic cards? Cards for special occasions? Cards directed at businesses? Do they have a theme like "Cards for Golfers and Gardeners?"

Equipment and inventory needed - What equipment will be required to run your business? What type of inventory will you need to start? Where will you get the supplies and equipment you need to make your business operational and what will the cost of these materials be? Will you make the cards by hand or computer? Will you print all of your cards at home or send them to a printer to be done? Do you need any new software or equipment like printers? What kinds of paper and decorations will your cards use and how much will the equipment cost that you need to start out?

Competition and Demand for Product - Who are your competitors? What do you offer that your competitors do not? How will you make your product unique so that you offer something that is not available now to potential clients? Are you planning on marketing to businesses? Are you planning on marketing with a website and running your business completely online or will you be marketing to companies and stores with your product on shelves? Who already sells products like yours and can you compete with those who are already selling similar products?

Operation procedures - How will you run your business? Who do you need to help in the process? What are your creation plans and how will you develop your product? Are you going to do all the work yourself? Will you advertise through a catalog or through a website? Will you have an inventory on hand or make cards as they are ordered? Is this going to be a part-time business or your full-time income?

Long-term and short-term goals - Where do you see your business being in a year, two years, three years and five years? Write a detailed monthly action plan for the next year and a quarterly detailed plan for each of the years after that. Set your goals and plan how you intend to reach those business goals.

Financing- Do you have the capital needed to start your own business without financial help? How much money do you plan to invest? Do you need other investors? Do you plan to have a partner, ask family and friends for investment capital or apply for a business loan or grant? Applying for a business grant or loan will require a detailed business plan to be submitted showing that you have thought out and planned everything necessary to start your business. This will also require financial information from you for the past three years, projected costs and income, resumes of those involved in the business, overhead expenses, competitors in area, and how you plan to compete.

In order to start your own greeting card business and write your business plan there is some information that will help you along during the process. You should consider the following:

What kind of income can you generate with this?

Greeting cards can range in price from $0.50 to $8.50 a card. More than $7.5 billion is generated in retail sales of greeting cards and more than seven billion cards are sold each year.

What are the actual steps that you need to take in order to start your own Greeting Card Business?

The first thing you need to do is your research and planning. Then put your research and planning on paper into a business plan for your business.

Once you have a plan you can execute it by starting with creating your designs, creating a marketing plan and executing it. You will also need to build a blog/website so if you don't know how to do this yourself then you will need to find a web designer to do it for you.

What type of printer makes professional looking greeting cards?

Any good quality color printer will work to print off your greeting card. You may find that a multi function printer is the best way to go so that you can scan your designs, print your cards, fax and communicate with clients and more efficiently run your business with one machine. The top five multi function printers are considered to be

Brother MFC- 7820N Printer
Canon Pixma MP600
HP Officejet 9120 multifunction printer
Samsung SCX 4200
Epson AcuLaser CX11NF

How do I get them in stores?

To get your greeting cards into stores you will need to do a great deal of cold calling and legwork. Design a portfolio of your cards, a price list of costs and contact the buyer for each store. Small stores may be the way to start and then when you go to larger established or national chains you can show them the success that you have had in other stores.

What does the printing cost?

When going to a print shop or having them printed by an online printing company you get a cheaper cost per card with larger orders. It depends on where you go and how many cards you want printed. You can also get a discounted price if you are not in a hurry for your order. Cards can cost approximately $200 for 250 cards at a printing shop. Printing cards at home can work out to be quite expensive due to costs of ink for the printer you have, though again if you buy in bulk you can get a reasonable price. Don't be afraid to shop around.

What is the standard size of a greeting card and where can I find a template?

A sheet of 8 1/2" by 11" cardstock will create two greeting cards of 4 1/4" by 5 1/2". These cards will fit in a standard 4 3/8" by 5 3/4" envelope. This way you do not need to special order envelopes.5 1/4 x 7 1/4 fits a 5x7 are also commonly used.

What type of camera should I buy for taking photos for printing on greeting cards?

Any high quality digital camera will work for creating photos for your card. Digital cameras take out the extra step of having to get pictures developed or printed and scanned onto disc. It can cut down on your overall costs of your card business if you can do it yourself.

How do I get financing for a greeting card business?

There are some business grants and loans out there for start-up businesses but you may not need to go into debt with a financial institution. If you already own a computer, printer and camera then your start-up costs for starting a Greeting Card Business may be minimal. You could start your company for less than $500.

What equipment do I need for a home greeting card business?

You will need a computer, printer, camera or scanner, paper stock and envelopes, inventory and business software to run the company, invoice stores or clients, make business cards and promotional material

What are some of the legal issues I need to be aware of when starting a greeting card business?

Depending on where you live and what the laws are for your area, you may need to register your business and copyright your products and names used. You should contact your local government business office or do some research online to ensure that you know the necessary legal steps required in your area.

What are some good card designing software applications?

There are many great greeting card creation programs for your greeting card business on the market right now. Hallmark has several software packages out there The Print Shop and Broderbund are both respected names in printing software and have some great packages for printing greeting cards.

How to Make Money Online With Cashback Credit Cards

There is a loyalty reward scheme put up by credit card companies. These companies offer cash incentive either for using their credit card while making a purchase online or in person. They trust that by offering such incentives they may earn some money back as payment of interest. Since there is an incentive involved, cashback cards have a higher rate of interest than normal cards. However, if you use our credit card wisely then you may not have to make repayment or pay interest.

You can maximize your money by using cashback card provided you pay off the money accrues at the end of every month. If you are unable to pay your bill regularly then you may be paying more for credits. In the end, it will severely negate any profit from using a cashback credit card.

In order to avoid being charged interest, you must make sure that you have the money for making the intended purchase. If you make a purchase on the assumption that you would cover the amount from the next pay cheque then you are in for a trouble.

You must also try to make your monthly payments via card instead of debit card. You may be paying your monthly dues for electricity, water, gas, taxes, grocery bills, house rent, and fuel for your conveyance and many more such things. No doubt, some companies offer discount if debit cards make such payments. You should compare the cashback credit earning and discount enriched debit card payment before making a decision. Some cashback credit cards charge you a fee of 2.5% and give back only 2% as incentive.

It is wise to make large payments by your credit card. Paying for a car, house or jewelry if paid through credit cards, shall give you back more cashback rewards. A car comes in $10,000 or more. A 2% cashback means $200 or more. If you are making big purchases and spend around $50,000 to $100,000, you may well imagine the cashback reward implicit in it. You may increase your cashback reward by making purchase for your friends and relatives through your credit card. You may split the profit but also beware of being duped.

It is always wise to keep a track of your account statement and compare the entries with your diary entries. You must not miss out any amount however paltry.

Health, Wealth and Happiness in 2011: Proven Steps to Improve Your Finances in This Economy

2010 is gone forever, but some of the damage will live on in infamy! Job losses were at an all-time high during 2010, the housing market continued its downward spiral, gold went up, the dollar went down, and China bought up American debt in record quantities.

There are a lot of people talking about how you can hedge your bets against this economy. How recession-proof are you? What small steps have you taken to be a little more prepared if inflation hits, if the costs of goods and services go up and your dollar doesn't go quite as far as it used to go?

Although there isn't a lot the average family can do to protect themselves from the possibilities of inflation, there are some good, common sense steps you can take.

Obviously, the ability to weather any financial storm depends on how prepared you are when the storm hits. Look around your house. Where can you make some small changes? Is your family willing to make certain sacrifices?

Instead of going to dinner and a movie, could you pick up a take-n-bake pizza and rent a movie? Make it fun for your family. Get a "do-it-yourself" pizza and let the kids pick the toppings. Not taking a family of four to dinner and a movie each week frees up a lot of cash in a month. This is cash that can be put into savings, or used to pay down some of your current debt.

Are you using your credit cards like an extension of your paycheck? You need to think of credit cards as emergency money only! Get your balances paid down so that you have some reserves in the event of an emergency. Pay down the cards with the highest interest rates first, and pay down as much as you can every month. Make yourselves a deal: If you can't pay cash for something and it's a "want" and not a "need" then save up for it. You don't want to be in a situation where you can't get something you need because of all the things you wanted!

Do you have the ability to purchase certain foods in bulk and store and rotate them? This could save money on items as food costs rise. Food storage is becoming a huge trend for a reason.

Do you have a bartering network in your neighborhood? Can you trade services for labor or vice-versa? Do you have a website in your area for swapping gently used toys, books, clothes, furniture, etc. If you don't have one, is it feasible to start one?

Are you a successful gardener? Do you can your fruits and vegetables? Can you sell those in your neighborhood, at a farmer's market or farm stand? Not everyone is a successful gardener and people love canned fruits and vegetables. Is this a viable option for you to make some additional income?

Are you crafty? Would it make sense for you to sell some of your crafts? If you have people telling you how much they love the items you've made, you should look into selling them. Not everyone is crafty, but almost everyone likes crafted gifts! Can you sell your items at craft shows, farmer's markets, online?

Do you eat lunches out often? Are you buying lattes and coffees every day? You could be spending $15-$20 every week just on lunches and coffees. Examine your petty cash expenditures and then cut back. Use the extra money to put toward your credit card balances. An extra $80 to $100 monthly goes a long way to get a balance paid down.

Could one of you possibly work from home? Is it a financial possibility? Working from home saves money on child care, dry cleaning, gas for the car, purchased lunches, etc. Imagine, no commute and no child care expenses!

Even in these uncertain times, there is no reason the average family can't take some small steps to ensure their own financial security. Adopting better spending habits will not only help you through this economy, but it can be empowering. Good financial habits last a life-time!
