Self Sufficiency - That Is the Key
Everyone has a point in their lives when they see there is no one -- no one they can depend on except themselves. Not the boss, not the co-workers, not the government, nobody but nobody but you! When that bolt hits - we need a plan. We plan our work and then work our plan. Trust in our ability to stay focused until the job is really done.
Home based businesses survive on many things but one item it must have is a revenue stream. Some call it a stream of income but that is all just saying - the money has got to flow in order to be successful. We measure our success or progress by those dollars.
The truth is that earning our way on the internet is not "easy" unless we want to make the effort. That is the key. Effort comes in many forms. Work is certainly effort. But commitment and dedication are key ingredients for success. That commitment requires the willingness to take a small risk - as small leap of faith.
Faith Requires Dedication and Commitment
Earning an income in any walk of life is demanding. Earning a good income on the internet is doable. Think of the vast array of clients - those people you want to help find at they are looking for and deliver it. That delivery is a skill - it becomes a craft -- your personal craft.
To be good at our craft we need good tools. Tools - the best tools - are the critical element. We can work and work at building or creating our tools or we can search for the best tool available and put it to work. We all realize that the "creation" comes from within each of us. So there is no worry about too many of the same tool. Because the tool is only part of the formula. Who is better with the paint brush me or Rembrandt? The same is true in business. Think of Rembrandt - he had to start somewhere and learn.
Earning your way on the internet - learning the skills and developing that talent is a lot easier with the right tool that actually "grows" with you. If you have the right tool box - it will always be there. Trusty and reliable. I found just such a tool box. I felt like I had entered Sears and went right to the Craftsman tool section. Sure I could "build my own". The cavemen did it - look how successful they were. The tool box here cuts that development time drastically.
Only Serious Artists Need Apply Today
If you are serious about earning money online, training and skill based information is priceless. Most will tell you it may be just what you need to continue growing. But we have to be honest, there are a lot of sites out there that claim they can make you money online. The new explorer - that is you - simply has to resist the "shiny object" in the stream. Don't be fooled by all the HYPE. No matter what we wish for, we know that the truth is that there are only a few products out there that you should consider to be worthy of using.
Serious = Critical Analysis
The successful explorer has to invest the time to fight through all the fakes to find the training worth while. We have to watch out - be critical and yes skeptical. Be on the lookout for the "get rich quick" program that promise everything and deliver nothing. The craft is within us and learning - true learning will bring it out - along with a stream of income that will:
1) measure your progress and
2) reward that learning and
3) spur you on to learn and earn even more while helping your clients reach their goals.
The tool kit must be high quality - able to grow and develop along with you. It has to be supported by a high level of interested support. But above all it must be grounded in honest, honorable principal - pay it forward!
The Internet Has Free Resources
The best place to start a search is the free space of the internet. There are many programs that offer "free trials" or "ebooks" on the subjects at no cost. Check them out. You will find many that repeat the same theme. Part of your own "training" is developing the ability to spot those duplications. Evaluate the statements and rank them. Once you have your own personal detection library - you will be on your way to cutting through to the critical information you need to grow your own business.
You will quickly find that there are scads of free software programs and tools in places like CNet.com that don't cost anything. Many of the programs also have user information that includes background that often fits nicely into gaining experience in the business.
There are other tasks that you can either pay for or get for free. Search the internet and you will find a broad range of systems. You can purchase keyword search software or go to Google.com and do the same thing for free. Plus with Google, there are other elements of their programs that enable you to check key words, key phrases and see how many times they are used on the web.
Everything Has A Price
The early phases of training for the internet can be mapped back to time or money. Most of us have time but little or no money. So if you are:
1) dedicated,
2) a critical thinker,
3) serious about making a change,
4) have a little artist in you, and
5) want to explore a new world for free - then get started today.
Once you have that background gained in your early search. Then - and only then - when I would recommend spending any money on "programs" or "guaranteed" systems. With your new ability, you will be able to better qualify the training. Ensure it is hones. Be satisfied that the trainer is honest, honorable and sincerely interested in delivering new skills.
