But far MORE important - you are actually creating their dream product, providing genuine answers, service, help and SOLUTIONS to the most pressing problems your list is facing. (and that's the REAL key to being successful in any direct marketing modeled business... period!)

The other key distinction is THIS:
Never create your products BEFORE you ask, or do the above. Most people convert SO poorly... and leave so much money on the table, simply because they create their products FIRST, and then try to sell what they THINK their list needs, rather than ask first, deliver later. If you can create content, and are willing to work and are SUPER serious about success, you can achieve the same results as I did above.

What did I do?

Along with a business partner... I went into a niche, with a very high advertising cost threshold, and some super high paying affiliate programs that I really wanted to promote. My partner in the project was a well known PPC "guru" who had a whole series of spreadsheets and tracking software and all kinds of fancy pants terminology for every part of the pay per click process.

What he didn't have, of course... was a back up plan once the paid traffic plan was BLEEDING us big money on a day in and day out basis. (we were losing almost 4 figures on some days in ad spend, even though this was SUPPOSED to be his area of expertise in the online teaching landscape)

Before we went broke, belly up and stuck like Chuck with a big bill neither of us wanted to pay...

I attacked the market with content. I wrote articles. I Built blogs. I created review sites. I repurposed my content in as many creative ways as I could think of... spreading each and every word into any nook and niche cranny that I could find.

What we found was this:

The content converted like CRAZY. Much better than the PPC ads. So much so, as a matter of fact, that we stopped spending money on pay per click advertising altogether. And you know what? The torrents of traffic continued to grow.
