Review your chart afterward and see if the diagram flows perfectly without any shortcomings. Check for any missing steps and remove any redundant ones. Be open for feedback so that you can improve your plan even more. Finalize your work and launch the chart so that the company can begin observing the steps. Follow the chart religiously and revise areas that need improvement.

One of the challenges of working at home is talking about it with people who aren't familiar with what you do. Many just won't understand what you do, and will assume that any sort of work at home job or home business is a scam. They're all scams, right?

I can't tell how many times I've had people assume that I'm being scammed or not making any money at all when I talk about working at home. Even when I was a medical transcriptionist, many had the illusion that it must be some sort of scam. No one could possibly get paid for any sort of work at home unless it's daycare or something, right?

Anyone who has worked at home successfully knows better than that. Sure, there are scams, but not everything home based is a scam.

How you discuss your work depends on how you want to handle thing with that particular person. Those who are already familiar with your work and understand that it's legitimate can probably discuss your work with you just as you'd discuss someone's outside the home job. Flexibility a Key to Successful Home-Based Business

Often I am reminded that having a home-based sewing business for law enforcement and fire agencies forces me into a flexibility mode that I find to my advantage many times, and occasionally frustrating. One would wish for work to come at a steady, even pace, with predictable arrival of the work. It just does not work that way. There are days when I feel forgotten, some days I get phone calls from officers on their way over with alterations but then get a call that consumes the rest of their day. Then there are days when the agency sends over a car filled with clothes for alterations and patches.

I have always joked that law enforcement officers and firefighters have no concept of time. Sometimes it is convenient to stop by my business on their way to work at 10 p.m. or on their way home at 7 a.m. And generally that works for me.
