But, it was not as easy as merely logging on and picking-and-choosing your online business... Anyone who has even attempted to sift through the maze of so-called online income opportunities, only to find 90% of them are scams, will know about the frustration and confusion (and even desperation!) that you encounter. Spend some time and effort on this exercise as this will be your first link to prospective "employers". Once registered you are then able to place bids on projects that fit your skills and expertise. Initially you might struggle to gain opportunities but once you gain experience you'll get more recognition and exposure.

Be sure to read the rules and tips/guidelines of every website as this will assist you in getting your bids accepted. The pro's of this business is that you can do the work you want and enjoy, and what you are best at. Explore the jobs offered on the sites before you load your skills - you'll be surprised at what assignments are up for bidding and what you can contribute.

Data Entry
I have tried this and unfortunately did not have any positive experiences. Basically, you register with a Data Entry Company - there are numerous companies making lots of claims about the amount of income you can expect. You then receive a PDF manual with course material and write an exam. It is then up to you to "recruit" new members (like yourself), sell a product (usually a "free" website) and earn commission (not so "free" for prospective clients).

The problem is that you spend a fortune on advertising fees as free classified websites block these advertisements. The only area where actual data entry comes in, is that you'll need to submit a spreadsheet or invoice to your Data Entry Company to claim your commissions. You also need to constantly send e-mails drawing in prospective recruits and clients. It is a very time consuming exercise. It might work for others, but did not for me.

These are but a few online income opportunities and there are numerous others available. I will touch on those in future articles.

As with all things Internet related, you need to do your research. Don't grab the first opportunity. Use Google, Wikipedia, Alexia and any other tools that the World Wide Web can provide you with before you make a decision. Stay positive and dedicated and you will succeed in your specific niche.
