Making Money For Beginners Online

If you are new to online marketing and trying to make money online, put your seatbelts on cause you're in for a bumpy ride. It's a jungle out there in cyberspace. There is so much to learn. My recommendation is to first keep your wallet in your pocket. Before you buy anything like an ebook or course, do your research. There are many outdated ebooks and courses that really don't teach you much and you end up wasting your money. My suggestion to you first is learn the word "free" when it comes to Googling. Nowadays a lot of information on online marketing is free. You would be surprised at the vast amount of free information that is available on the internet. For example "blogging", there is all kind of ebooks, membership sites, and courses on how to make money in blogging that charge money and these sites give good information. But I'll bet you can find a lot of the same information if you do a search for it but just add the word free when you do your search about blogging. There are so many people willing to give free information on the internet that you could become fairly proficient in online marketing without ever spending a dime. Just remember the keyword "free" when Googling.

Another good way for beginners to learn online marketing is to join some type of membership training website. Instead of buying several ebooks and courses you can usually pay a small monthly fee and access some sort of training website which gives you a variety of training on different aspects of online marketing. This keeps your overhead low but at the same time allows you to get a lot of training on a variety of marketing methods. Just make sure the membership site you do join has the variety of training you need to be worth the monthly fee. Another resource you can use is YouTube. There is so much free information on YouTube it amazes me, and of course its in video format so its easy to follow. To reiterate, before spending your hard earned money on the internet, do some intense surfing and act like a sponge soaking up as much free information as you can. I'm pretty positive you can start making money pretty quickly without spending a lot of money

Seven Critical MLM Questions Before Sigining Up

Talking to the right people is probably one of the best ways to determine if you can have a legit chance at succeeding in a network marketing company.

Before deciding to join a company, interview as many people as possible who are connected to the company. Your list should include owners, officers managers, employees and even vendors who sell products or services to the company.

If you do nothing else, interview the people who are most likely to know how the company really operates, what it stands for,and how it treats its customers. Who are these people? The distributors, of course.

Before you agree to join a company, ask the person who introduced you to the company to refer you to a dozen [or more] distributors you can interview by phone or in person. Ask for names of individuals with back grounds similar to your own. For example, If you're a school teacher, a nurse, an engineer or a pastor, explain that that you want to talk to people who share your career interests. Also ask to speak to two or three people who joined the company and quit. Interview them and then talk to their sponsors. Every story has two sides to sides. Be objective. Remember. You can find good sponsors in bad MLM companies and bad sponsors in good direct sale companies.

Before I give you the seven critical questions you must ask before joining a multilevel company, let me pass on an independent service. that answers all of most of the critical questions need answering. This company is independent-non bias and claims to have no vested interest in any MLM opportunity. They are CitizenCorps and can be easily Googled.

Now here is a list of questions to ask both current and former distributors:

*Why did you decide to join the company?

*How much money did you spend before you started earning money?

*Is it reasonable to expect to succeed working this opportunity on a part-time basis?

*How valuable is the company's training?

*What do you like or dislike about the company's products or services?

*How do you rate the company's customer service performance?

* What three things do you like most about the company?

There is an additional 7 more critical questions that can be viewed at rel=nofollow http://wendellreviews.com

Cyber Hackers Can Mess With Google - Are You Afraid For Your Business?

If you have been reading the news lately and picking up on all the commotion around hack attacks on some of the big guns like Google, Yahoo and Adobe you may be experiencing a twinge of anxiety over the security for your own business. You may have believed your network was invincible so this news could leave you feeling shaky. You have good reason to feel this way - according to an article in the Sydney Morning Herald the number of hackers tampering with private financial information belonging to Australian business is on the rise. Obviously using the internet and intranet for business has become a viable solution to accomplishing company objectives, but on the downside the criminal faction sees just as much opportunity.

Australia is a Frequent Target for Cyber Crime

Symantec, a data security firm reported that Australian and New Zealand businesses suffer 75% more security breaches than the global average with 89% of the companies polled in the last 12 months admitting at least one intrusion. Hackers are not necessarily going after the major companies where they can make off with large sums of money. Like any other thief, they go where the risk is low and they can get in and out of a system quickly and without detection. The fact is you don't have to be at any particular level of business profitability to be targeted. Smaller companies tend to use less comprehensive IT security making them more susceptible. In general, hackers are interested in easy money.

Google and Other Large Corporations are Not Exempt

The threat does not always revolve around banking information or sensitive intellectual property. As Google discovered in December 2009, issues such as human rights are at stake in cyber attacks. The advertising and search giant was appalled that a highly organized effort dubbed "Aurora" was being made to hack into the Gmail accounts of Chinese human right activists. They managed to infiltrate only two accounts and were not able to see the account holders' actual correspondence. The action put Google in the position where it felt it necessary to warn the Chinese human rights community of the attack and to prepare to withdraw business ties with China. Officials at Google did not directly accuse the Chinese government of being the perpetrators but they decided to review doing business with the country based its attempts to limit free speech on the internet. Google stated concern for the safety of the Chinese citizens and the potential for them to be interrogated and imprisoned.

There were at least 20 other large internet, media, finance and technology companies included in the attack: Yahoo, Adobe, Symantec, Dow Chemical and Northrop Grumman to name a few. It was accomplished through a technique called "spear phishing." This resembles an attack against 100 IT companies in July 2009 where company employees were targeted with infected email attachments.

Small and Midsize Businesses have Minimal Defense

Most businesses are totally defenseless against these sophisticated attacks. They use instant messages and emails that seem innocent at first because the senders appear to be friends and trusted colleagues. The messages are fine-tuned to evade the anti-virus programs designed for these applications. Evidently the best practices for IT security that have successfully held attackers at bay for many years are no longer sufficient. There is an innovative caliber of attacks circulating around the globe using custom malware written specifically for individual companies. The hackers don't seem to mind if it takes longer to get around the antivirus software in use by the large corporations. They continue painstakingly to tweak their malware until it is effective. Smaller companies that don't have the budget for a large scale security have not stood a chance. The hackers have the ability to commandeer only one employee's laptop and make it a gateway for total administrative access to the company's entire network.

The security firm, iSec Partners that investigated the attack on Google and ensuing corporations recommend we make fundamental changes to the way we protect our networks. They say we have simply not been prepared for the level of sophistication demonstrated by the new cyber criminals.

Hacker Stories in the Australian News

Internet news sites report the direct effects of cyber hacking on Australia. Today Online posted a news article about a hacker called "Ghostbuster" that has been targeting Melbourne businesses as a response to violence against Indians. The person behind the attacks has been sending threatening emails stating Australian servers will be hacked until racism against Indian nationals is ended. The action came in the wake of the murder of a 21-year-old Punjabi student in January 2010. Several Melbourne businesses were victimized when their entire networks were thrown into chaos.

In the technology section of The Age is a report describing the effects on government websites by hackers associated with the group "Anonymous", known for its attacks on Scientology. This is the same group that temporarily blasted pornography across Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's website. On the morning of February 10, 2010 a number of government sites were down. The attack was in opposition to the government's plans for internet censorship. Communications Minister Stephen Conroy was not happy with the fact that Australian citizens could not obtain needed services online and felt it was irresponsible on the part of the hackers.

In the Sydney Morning Herald one journalist mentions the statistics that there are now more mobile devices in the country than Australians. It is not unusual for an individual to own two or three. The rising use of wireless broadband provides accessibility and convenience for subscribers but it also expands the territory for cyber criminals. Currently there are more barriers to cyber hacking wireless devices than terrestrial networks, such as the cost of making a phone call. However with the advances in mobile device technology to the point where it can replace the need for owning a laptop computer the potential for being targeted by hackers exists. The actual devices may be secure but the Wi-Fi network, often free and faster for users in public places is a temptation for cyber criminals. You may believe you have connected to a site operated by an airport, hotel or coffee shop, but there is no way of knowing for sure who controls the IP address that now has access to everything in your computer or mobile device. It is not that difficult for hackers to present a fake website you feel you can trust that they can use to steal from your network at any time in the future.

Millions of dollars are stolen everyday from individuals and businesses that use the internet. We are warned frequently about viruses, worms and phishing scam but somehow we get caught anyway. The situation is getting worse as hackers become better adept at breaking down the unique systems designed to keep them out. If you are still experiencing discomfort about the vulnerability of your network it will pay off to attend to your gut feeling.

Spammers Seem to Love Me a Lot!

Has anyone of you noticed that in the past few months, that email spammers are on the loose?

Before I go further, let's take a look at what email SPAM is.

In Wikipedia it is defined as this, "Spam is the abuse of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately. While the most widely recognized form of spam is e-mail spam, the term is applied to similar abuses in other media: instant messaging spam, Usenet newsgroup spam, Web search engine spam, spam in blogs, wiki spam, Online classified ads spam, mobile phone messaging spam, Internet forum spam, junk fax transmissions, and file sharing network spam."

Spam for me is also when you are sitting at home after a long day and the phone starts to ring. You answer it because you think that it is a friend or a family member who wants to say hi and chat but as soon as you pick up the phone, telemarketers pitch you their products. So you hang up on them and 2 hours later, another telemarketer calls you and bothers you. I think that telemarketers are like email spammers. They have 3 things in common.

1. They contact you without your permission.

2. They try to sell you their product that you don't really need.

3. They annoy the heck out of you over and over again.

So basically, when someone sends you an email that you did not request and did not give permission to that sender, that is considered spam. Someone sends you an email with the ONE intention and that is to sell you their service or product.

I have an email address that gets about 20-40 spam emails per day that go directly into my JUNK mail box. As soon as I go there, I make sure that they are really spam because when people who are on my email list send me an email with a question, I want to reply back to them. It is rare that I get these kind of messages that go into my JUNK mail box. What ever is SPAM, I delete it right away.

And you know what's weird? When you hit the reply button and ask them to stop emailing you, your message bounces back to you. That email address that sent you that email does not exist. How frustrating is that?

The one thing that is weird is that I opened a new email account with Gmail.com to see if the spammers would get me there too and 2 days after opening that new email account, some of them did. They sent spam there too. I have no idea how they do that. I just opened that account for the sake of seeing if they would come there too.

If you are getting spam emails from people that you don't know of, there is not much we can do about it and just delete their emails and move on. Not much we can do about it.

Why Should I Listen to You?

If someone you don't even know, or at the very least, had a vague familiarity with was to walk up to you and then start to engage you in a conversation laced with great enthusiasm, excitement and big smiles, what would you think? Not that we would ever do that - right?

After viewing an interview with Les Brown, a well-known consultant and guest speaker, I came to the realization that what he was saying was so true. He really simplified it for me, and I will share this idea with as many people as possible, because I think it will make us better at working with others and help us understand why some will and some won't want to listen to you. Each person we talk with will have these three basic questions.

1. Who are you? People want to know precisely who your are and this is not really that hard to convey in a simple, brief statement. But, if you try to figure out how to phrase that every time you meet someone and they ask what do you do, then you had better write it down and commit it to memory. All you have to do is keep it simple. Some call it an elevator pitch or 30 second resume. Keep it simple and brief.

2. Then they are going to want to know what do you have? This is when far too many people think that it's time to start spewing out facts and figures. Not so. Professional sales people actually struggle with this same challenge as well. Too many sales professionals think that if I share all the facts that I know about my products and services it is bound to convince them. Wrong. When you want someone to know what you have, remember this simple little phrase, "facts tell, stories sell." Share with them your story or even the story of someone else who benefited and what it did for them. However, keep it short and simple.

3. They are going to want to know why should I care? This is when you share with them what the business or product did for your life or the life of others. Whether that was a result of better health, wealth or happiness, you will want to provide that answer for him, because you can be sure that this individual is going to be thinking about these three key questions.

Simple Freedom System Review

Simple Freedom System is a money making program composed of two parts. First you get a marketing course (an actual physical product) which consist of a 260 plus page manual, a quick start guide, and a CD. The course is pretty comprehensive covering online as well as offline marketing and even includes a full copywriting course. The second part of the system is the marketing system. They give you a website, capture page, blog, and email messages all designed to help you market the course online as well as offline with postcards or classified ads They've been around for a few years now and seem to have a good concept going. Their philosophy seems to be, provide a marketing course with good value then provide a website to help sell it. The marketing system is built for you so your only job is to direct traffic to the capture page they provide for you, so even a newbie can jump in and probably start making money pretty quick.

The payout is pretty good. You make $200 for every course you sell and $100 override on all the distributors you sign up when they make a sale. They offer a few backend products but you are not required to purchase to them, but they can increase your income if you decide to market any of them. One good thing about Simple Freedom is they don't leave you high and dry when you buy the course like some other programs. They offer ongoing training in the form of conference calls twice a week and a internet marketing training center for members only.

rel=nofollow [http://100kmoneysystem.com]Simple Freedom System seems to have a lot to offer in terms of an actual product as well as fine tuned marketing system, however its up to the distributor to learn how to drive traffic to the website they provide. It doesn't matter how good the system is, if you still have to learn and master traffic generation to your capture page. At least the upfront commissions are pretty good so even if you only make a few sales a week the money can make a difference to ones bottom line.

How Strong is Your Vision Statement?

My question to all of you fabulous homepreneurs is this:
How strong is your Vision? And, do you have a Vision Statement for your business?

Some of you may think that your vision for your company is so set in stone that nothing could deter you from it. Now there are others of you that change with every new thing that comes along. Why do we do this? Well, because some times it is easier to learn something new than to stick with the idea that may take some time to cultivate. Our culture loves instant success and every new product and service will promise you this.

Really you won't know how strong your vision is until you've found yourself in a position where you've been given a little less to work with, or perhaps you are at a position less than where you envisioned yourself to be. Family and friends have an amazing impact on how we think as well. Even if they think they are looking out for your best interest, many times this isn't the case. What happens during these times is that we start to question our own vision that we originally felt so strongly about.

Working within your true gifts whether it be creativity, science, numbers, talking, leadership, writing, ministry or many of all of the above, no one gift is better than the other. However, if you are working within your gifts and are enriching them as you grow in life, with strong vision for yourself, I guarantee that you will be successful in whatever it is that you do.

One of the first exercises I do with my clients in my Empowerment 4u! Coaching strategy sessions is figuring out what you enjoy and what you don't, as a child and as an adult. This really helps me in determining what may be holding you from your vision or taking that next successful step in your business. Many of you are not ready for success - you are standing in your own way. How may you be doing this? Well, ask yourself some of these questions:

Are you serving your clients and constantly giving them good service, product or content unconditionally? Or, do they always have to buy from you? Was there ever a point that you were so far away from your vision you just couldn't fathom it coming true so you switched to a different vision? Do you do this often?

Have you ever held yourself back because you just didn't think you were ready or knew enough to follow your vision? Has a personal distraction or disaster come along that made you waiver on your vision? Or, completely give up that particular dream? Are you doing things just to impress "the other guy"? Are you really giving your business your best at this very moment?

My opinion on this is this... Unless you have a strong vision for yourself and your business that you can fall back upon when you waiver, when things aren't quite at there best, you will never be truly successful. Whatever success you have right now, embrace it. No matter how small or mundane. Once you do this then you can move to the next step of success. Have the mindset that your business IS successful and work from a place that coincides with your vision.

You've heard the old adage "Prosper where you're planted" right? Well, treat your business the way you want it to be, treat your spouse as though he/she is that loving, caring person you desire, start treating your body as though it IS healthy and fit, see where I'm going here...Start to work your business and live your personal life as you dreamt it to be and soon it will become what you envisioned. It's the little things that you embrace that will help you get there.

It's about giving it your best shot even when your vision seems the furthest away. It's about going that extra mile EVEN when no one is paying attention. If you are constantly looking for recognition and promotion, you aren't working towards your vision. Everything you do needs to work hand in hand towards building your vision, even if you aren't getting a pat on the back. Is that hard? You bet it is? Recognition makes us feel good and if we don't get it, self doubt tends to set in.

It's funny, one of my mentors told me that whenever I started to feel a little uneasy, or maybe I handled a difficult situation without whining and complaining about it, I just handled it even though I felt a little uncomfortable, she'd say "Okay Deb, that was another test. You past and something great is about to happen. You are ready to go that next step." And, it always works that way. I step off that cliff and somehow another bridge is built making me stronger and stronger as try new things.

So if you don't have a strong Vision Statement for your company, or perhaps you change it frequently, I'd highly suggest re-visiting your Vision Statement and make sure that is true to you and who you want to be within your company. When you are working from the heart, it's hard to waiver too far from the truth.

Is a Home Based Business Good For a Single Dad?

If you're a single father you might feel like you have to be all things to all people. You have to work hard and keep your boss happy at work and then you have to go home and take care of your kids. It can seem like you need more hours in the day to get everything done. However, if you would like to be able to spend more time with your kids and still make a great living a home based business can be a great alternative for a single father.

Working from home will allow you to be a more full time dad. You won't have to spend 40 hours a week or more away from your kids and you'll still be able to make enough money to take care of all of their needs.

Most people who start a home based business like to start part time and this is especially a good idea for a single parent. Obviously you can't just give up your full time job right away if you have children to support. However, starting part time means that you can build up your income while you're still working at your job so that eventually you can be at home full time.

A home based business will not only allow you to spend more time with your kids but it will also allow you to provide a better life for them. Unlike a job when you work for yourself there is no cap to your income. No boss to tell you when you get a raise or when you don't. You can make as much money as you desire and you can give your kids more than any job could ever provide.

Of course more important than money is your time. And this is far and away the best part about working from home. You can spend more time with your kids. You can cook them dinner every night, you can monitor what they watch on TV, you can drop them off at school and kiss them goodnight every single night. No job will ever be able to promise you that.

So get more information about working from home today you and your kids will be glad you did.

A Guide on How to Comfortably Work From Home in 12 Months Or Less

Almost everyone who starts a home based business starts out part time. That's because you need to wait until your income has reached a certain level before you just up and quit your regular job. But is it really possible to be working from home full time in only one year? My answer is yes!

However, you should know that it really depends on how much you're making now and how much you need to make in order to quit your job. Obviously if you want to make $30,000 a year you're going to need less time than someone who is trying to replace a six figure income. Both are possible but the six figures probably isn't going to happen in a year. (Although it is possible)

First you're going to want to set out a schedule and stick with it. If you want to make money fast you have to be consistent. That means that you work at least 10 hours a week (more if you want things to go faster) EVERY WEEK no matter what. Later on when you are making more money you can have weeks where you don't work at all but in the beginning consistency is key!

Also, you need to have a plan. That plan can be customized for you but it needs to be clear and you need to be ready to stick with it. Some people prefer to build their business on the internet while others like calling leads or doing local marketing. It's up to you but find what works best and write out a clear plan of attack and then follow it like it is a map to buried treasure.

If you don't know what your plan of attack should be you should talk to your upline or other people who have been successful working in your business they should be more than willing to help you make out a plan and give you mini goals that you should be working on on your way to your final goal.

Finally, don't let anything stop you. Remember consistency is key. You are for sure going to have weeks when you don't want to work or you just want to give up because someone has been mean to you. Don't let them stop you!

The people who are the most successful are the people who have a plan and follow it no matter what, ignoring the negative people along the way.

If you follow these tips you could be easily working from home full time in 12 months or less.

Why Finding a Home Based Business is a Lot Like Finding a Spouse

In many ways finding the perfect home based business for you is a lot like finding a spouse. Here are a couple of reasons why...

You don't commit after just one date

You wouldn't marry the first girl (or guy) you took on a date right? Most people want to look around and meet other people before deciding that they are ready to settle down. After all if you don't look at others how do you know that yours is so special? Same is true with a home based business. You want to look at several different companies before joining the first one you see. That doesn't mean that you join and bunch of different businesses it just means that you take a look at a few before you fall in love and join the first one you see.

You need to look at their track record

When looking at a business you need to look at their track record. How many people in the company are really making money? How long do people generally stay in the business? Has the company followed through on all of their promises to their reps? Ect.

Just like you would want to know your future spouses dating history you should know the history of your business as well.

You need to know what they can do for you

Relationships are about give and take. Just like you wouldn't want to give and give and give and never get anything back from your spouse you want to know that when you give something to your business they will give you something valuable in return. What's in it for you!? You have to ask yourself that in a business. If you're working hard you need to know that they are going to give you enough in return.

You want something long term

Just like a marriage you don't just want it to be something that will last for a little while. You want to be in it for the long haul. So make sure that this is a business you can see yourself in for a long time. Many businesses are fine and they may be fun and everything but they're not something you want to do for years to come. That's not always the best thing to have in a business. You want something that you can build that will provide you with years and years of solid dependable income.

So when you think about it finding a great home based business is really very similar to finding a spouse. So go out there and find one that you are ready to be committed to!
