Get Money - How To Make Money Online Using Your Subconscious

Just about everybody has heard how the mind can have incredible influence over events and outcomes in our lives. This especially applies to the subconscious mind. When the power of the subconscious is brought into play in any endeavor, it is quite extraordinary the results that can eventuate. Especially in business, it can help you get money and show you how to make money.

Have you ever wondered how a student writing a thesis can come up with so much insightful new knowledge in a branch of science where there was a huge vacuum of knowledge before? These people all learned how to harness the power of their subconscious to bring extraordinary results.

Developing this power to apply to your home based business can be just as beneficial as in any other pursuit. More then that, it is essential that the power of the subconscious be utilized to the full or your business may struggle and never really make it, or even fail.

Napoleon Hill, who wrote the famous book Think And Grow Rich, is quoted as saying (quote) [Whatever the mind can conceive and believe in, it can achieve]. That is a very powerful statement and people in all walks of life have used it to inspire them to incredible heights. Just taking that statement into your life will give huge motivation and whether it is fame or fortune you seek you will rise to the top.

There are hidden latent powers in your subconscious just waiting for you to unleash on a project or a business. You will dream up ideas and paths to success and find answers and wonder where they came from. You will see insights very clearly and understand complexities that would have baffled your conscious mind.

You must feed your subconscious regularly to get it working for you. One way to do this is to use meditation, but that is not the only way. Another good way, is when you go to bed, just before you go to sleep, lay out a problem or a stumbling block that you would like an answer to, or review a goal, and your subconscious will work on it all night. Often there is an answer next morning or possibly subsequent mornings.

So please be aware of the power in you that is just waiting to get out and bring you success in your home based business or any pursuit. Just put it to work and watch your business and your bank balance grow.

Try it tonight. Just before you go to sleep, bring to mind your goals, lay out a problem or a stumbling block that is holding you back, and then let your subconscious work overnight. If you haven't tried that before, prepare to be amazed.

The Client Contract - Unwritten But Essential

In A Cleaning Business The Client Contract Is Unwritten But Essential

Those of you who have read other articles I have written on customer service will know that I believe that the customer is always right. Even when they are wrong, they are always right. A cleaning business is a place of strong relationships and trust, and as part of this the customer is always right.

There is no point in making someone wrong and even proving it with all the facts at your fingertips. It makes them feel like they have made a mistake and often they will blame you for making them feel that way because you have shown them the errors they have made. It is not a good thing to do because they are likely to go somewhere else for their services instead of coming back to you again.

There are however at least two situations where you may need to show the customer they are not correct.

The first one is where there is a major discrepancy in the accounting. If you believe they have not paid you for your goods or services, then you have the right to make your case and prove to the customer that they have missed payment. After all you are in business to earn a living and make money, so I believe you have the right to state your case clearly.

Don't use this approach over a few dollars however. It is not in your best interests to make a case over a simple error that will not make much difference to your bottom line. Just make sure it does not happen to you again. You might let one instance of a small amount go through, but I hope you would be more wary, especially if it happens more than that. That is a coincidence you don't want to repeat. If it happens a third time it becomes a pattern.

The second situation where it is relevant to stand up for yourself is in the unfortunate case where there is abuse. If there is a matter at issue that needs to be resolved keep the customer on side. Do not get angry or take offense as far as possible.

But when the customer starts to make it personal and becomes abusive it is time to change tack and retreat. It is at this point that the contract between customer and you is at an end or at least suspended. They have crossed the line.

There is an unwritten contract between client and service provider that is about being mutually respectful. By not making them wrong you are upholding that contract. When there is a dispute that deteriorates into abuse that contract is broken and the rules are gone.

In this situation it is important for your reputation that you do not indulge yourself and take part in a slanging match. If you do, it will be all over town by morning. You need to walk away from the situation, and never go back. If you have to leave behind the money for the service, do it. Any client who starts to abuse you is not worth the money. If the client contacts you again and apologies, asking you to return (is that likely?) then you need to make a judgment call as to whether you want to go back there again, and whether the situation might recur or not. You are in my opinion perfectly entitled never to go back if you have the least doubt. As I always say, you are not desperate.

It really is a relationship between yourself and the customer.

This breaking of the rules has other forms as well. Any form of sexual approach that is unwelcome is an example. Treating you with disdain while pretending to be civil is a borderline call.

We once had a client whose husband clearly resented our being in the house. He would come home from work when we were there, and once he left our money in the peanut jar! (He thought he was being clever, and being dumb cleaners we wouldn't get the point.) In the end we had no choice but to leave. It seems the only person who was going to clean his house was the wife.

These examples are just some of the situations that can arise and start to break the contract between you both. If you are starting to feel like you are not being respected, honour the feeling, and find what is happening to break the trust. If you find you have not been living up to the contract yourself you will need to take steps to rectify the problem, and quickly, starting with an apology.

But if the break-down is coming from the other side you have the right to walk away. Do it with dignity and your reputation will not be hurt. The contract has been broken.

Three Steps to Build an Easy Home Based Business

In order to create a successful home based business, whether the goal is to earn passive income, active income or both, there are three steps that you need to be sure to follow.

Choose An Effective Affiliate/MLM Program:This is perhaps the most important step. If you don't get this part right, you are simply wasting their time and the other two steps will prove useless and ineffective. There are a number of ways to go about this. Some good ones are to visit popular internet marketing forums and marketplaces such as the Warrior Forum and ClickBank. Another way to go about it is to use Google. Type in "affiliate programs" and see what comes up.
Find Cost Effective Ways To Advertise:Online marketing requires more than a "build it and they will come" mentality. However, it doesn't have to be expensive. There are many very effective, inexpensive and even free ways to advertise a product or service. Some very good ones include article marketing, video marketing, Craigslist and forum commenting.
Rinse And Repeat:Once you have found a system that works, you need to repeat it. It's really as simple as that. Find a new product or program, and start promoting it.

Creating a home business can be very rewarding. Once you have had some success and made some money, its time to make life a little bit easier by outsourcing some of the more mundane tasks, e.g. SEO. Making money online is possible. It's just a matter of finding a system that works, and then working that system!

My Personal Mistakes On My Business Ventures Part 1 of 3

I just want to talk about my personal back round in regards to starting a Business. I have to tell you that it is a hard road to follow. If you give up easily or have too many problems in your life to focus on the top 2 or 3 things in your life that are important to you, then maybe it is not the road for you to take at the moment. But on the other hand, if you are not up to your neck in bad relationships or do not have too many family problems, then maybe you can give starting a Home Base Business a shot.

I remember my first business idea was to invest in Real Estate. So I set out to read all I could about that subject. So this is one of the first things you do when you decide to venture into a new area for a Business. Learn everything you can, it is really true that knowledge is power. The neat thing about knowledge is that when you get a base of information then that leads to other ideas and other thoughts on which way to go. Cause you will find out that you like this industry or you like talking and coming to an agreement with people or you like putting a deal together etc.

Of course the other side is also true that you might decide that you do not like dealing with details or trying to convince people to buy or sell. Maybe you do not like technical things and rather deal with goals and plans. So actually that is good, cause you just eliminated a direction to go. Now you try another direction. It was not a waste of time cause you learn a thing or two about that part of Business and maybe learn a little about yourself in the process. Cause we do not know if we like something until we try it usually.

So I bought a few houses every two years or so, sold them and made a profit. Unfortunately I moved up instead of putting away some of the money for a rainy day. And let me tell you rainy days always come. So I became a statistic when the housing market fell apart and ended up pretty much where I started financially. I had a six great years or so and then back to reality. This was a self impose reality because I did not look far enough into the future to hang on to one or two of the houses. I did not sell one to pay off another so no matter what, I would have something in the end as was my plan to begin with.

That brings me to another point, if you make a plan to put away, pay off, invest some of the profits or something like that, then stick to your plan. I did not stick to my plan of paying off one or two homes so that no one could take them away from me or my family. I hope I have alerted you to some mistakes to avoid when starting a venture. Now I do not count it all as lost as I still feel comfortable buying a home if I want to in the future because I invested in myself to learn this industry.

The next thing I tried was to start a fudge business. Unfortunately when you go into food businesses you usually need some sort of capital. To buy equipment and to buy ingredients. So me and an associate at work decided to use her family recipe to go into Business. I put up the money, which was mostly borrowed and did most of the marketing and she did the cooking etc.

Well I found out that making enough sales with convenient stores was taking longer than I thought it would and the profits were very small. I also found out that I did not like a salesman sort of job. So borrowing most of the money was not the best idea unless I had the will and the knowledge to succeed in the candy industry. So after a year or two at trying to make a profit I decided that this was too much work for too little pay. I usually like to go by the idea that if I cannot make all my investment back within the first year then I would try something else. Now I can see that might be a little short-sighted for long-term gains and that most Business do not become profitable until after the third year or so.

I am a man that has looked for a business for many years to become successful at and after many tries I have found Internet Marketing. It does not take much money and at 56, being Internet challenged, I can learn this, work at home and quit my jobs. Remaking myself to try to improve me is a ongoing affair, with learning a new challenge comes a better me. Marketing other businesses products and creating a self running system seems ideal to me. Working for someone else is no way to become financially independent or to develop yourself into someone new. How Do I Market Myself: Start Online

Last week a big thick yellow phone book was delivered to my front door. Ten years ago, I would have been happy to receive it, gently putting it in my cupboard for later reference. But today I felt a twinge of guilt as I put the brand new big thick book in my recycling bin without looking up a single number.

I kept it for a full week, just for old time sake, but I'm a practical person and in my household the big thick phone book "Old Yeller" has become largely obsolete. Several years ago I cleared out the cupboard where I kept "Old Yeller" and filled it with cookbooks. So I ceremoniously chucked Old Yeller away to be recycled because when I need to find a plumber, I go online. If I'm looking for a good recipe, I go online. Even if I'm looking for a neighbor's phone number, I go online.

As a writer, thinking about internet marketing or my online presence isn't really my idea of fun. However, the way the world exchanges information continues to change, and having an online presence has become more and more crucial for success today in every field. Just like I don't pull out Old Yeller anymore, many people don't visit the brick and mortar bookstore when they want a new book. Instead, they sit down at their computer and search for good books, often immediately downloading a new novel onto their kindle. When people need information today, they go to their computer. This means when it's time for me to market my new book, I should go to my computer too and make my presence on the World Wide Web.

So I'm putting away my guilt about chucking the phone book. And since I haven't looked at those old cookbooks in quite a while either, maybe I'll chuck them too and get myself another new kitchen gadget to take their place.

What's the Optimal Length of a Webinar?

Research shows that people have a shorter attention span when they are online than they do in a face-to-face session (Lunt Crosman, 2004). We also know that the majority of participants in webinars will multi-task during the session. At the same time as the webinar is in progress, participants are likely to check their e-mail, engage with social media, eat lunch or so any number of other activities that require them to divide their time and focus.

When it comes to offering training or sharing knowledge through a webinar, your participants are not interested in spending time going over and over the same material to memorize it or going deep into theory. They want solid, relevant content and they want it in a way that keeps them engaged and interested.

Experts in the e-learning field have found that shorter sessions result in higher rates of retention (Lunt Crosman, 2004). Having said that, you don't want to cram in so much material that you have to talk a mile a minute. You want to divide your time for each segment of your session. The main segments will include an introduction, a maximum of three main content points, and a conclusion. You also need to allow time for interaction such as polls and other activities, as well as a question and answer period.

The general rule is to break your content down into manageable chunks. Offer each "chunk" as an individual session. Give relevant examples, stories, statistics and actionable "how to"s for each topic you present. It is better to offer more sessions on more topics, with each session being rich in content and takeaways for your participants.

Ideally, your webinars should be no less than thirty minutes in length and no longer than ninety minutes. If you go shorter than half an hour, you may not be able to cover your main points in any depth at all. If you go longer than ninety minutes, you run the risk of losing your participants' attention completely, as they pass the point of diminishing return for learning. That's the point at which they start to be able to absorb less and less. The longer you go past the point of diminishing return, the less they retain.

The optimal time, in my opinion, is 60 minutes, with 45 - 50 minutes being for the main presentation, allowing for a 10 - 15 minute question period at the end.

Keep it short. Keep it relevant. To have an exceptional webinar, the trick is to strike the balance between providing excellent value for the participants by providing solid content while keeping them engaged and interested.

Home Business Success - How To Find A Hot Market

So, where do you start? A good place to start is to make a list of topics that you are knowledgeable about and/or are interested in. If you are knowledgeable about a particular topic you will be able to provide value to your audience and quickly build credibility. If you are interested in a topic you are more likely to do the research and learn about that topic. Home business success is greatly enhanced by your ability to connect with and add value to your target market.

Once you have that list you can then go do some research. A good way to go about it is to explore how-to sites, question and answer site, forums and other sites that are related to your topic. The goal here is to get an idea of what your people are talking about and what they have shown interest in regarding your chosen topic.

For instance, if your chosen topic is do-it-yourself landscaping, you would want to visit do-it-yourself sites and look at the articles and videos that relate to landscaping. Look at the most popular articles. This will give you an idea of what your general market finds interesting and what problems they are looking to solve.

Go to a question and answer site such as Yahoo Answers and search for questions about landscaping. What kinds of questions are there? Can you provide answers to those questions? Would someone spend money to solve that particular problem? Your home business success depends on being able to solve problems for your market.

Once you have an idea of what kinds of things your market is interested in and what kinds of problems they are wanting to solve you would then move on to keyword research.

Using a tool like Google's free keyword research tool, you would search for terms that are related to your findings. For instance, you may have found that many do-it-yourselfers are wondering what kinds of plants would add to the curb appeal of their home that would require very little maintenance. You would then research what kinds of terms they are typing into the search engines to find low maintenance plants. You might try "low maintenance plants", "beautiful low maintenance plants", "low maintenance flowers" and so on.

You would want to look for key terms that have a healthy number of searches, but which also have reasonably low competition. Google's free keyword research tool will help you find both of those things.

Once you have found a few key terms that fit your criteria, you can focus on that niche of the market and start looking for or creating products that you can market to them.

At Home Jobs for Moms - Time for the Kids, The House and Work

There are women who can do it all: raise a family, keep their home and have a career. Then there are others who are so frazzled that they have been known to show up at the office with one spiffy black pump and one fuzzy bunny slipper. There are mornings where those women have shrugged while little Susie eats a chocolate chip cookie and a glass of milk for breakfast because there just is no time for anything else. Something has to give in this situation.

Family life should always be more important than a career, after all, why do we go to work in the first place? We go to pay for the things for our children, to keep them healthy and happy. But, if we don't have time to enjoy these children or the things we work so hard to get, it is time to rethink priorities. There are a number of different at home jobs for moms, jobs that will give them time to be a mom but still pull in money as well.

Before you go telling your boss that you have a few words for him, there are a few things you should consider about the potential of at home jobs for moms.

First of all, know that these types of jobs run the gamut from every niche and industry to every level of work. Before you sever all ties with your current job, ask if they offer any at home jobs for moms. Many companies would rather allow a dedicated employee telecommute rather than having to go through the hiring and training process with a new person.

The advantage is that you don't have to lose your seniority or benefits and the company keeps someone that they are familiar with. These types of at home jobs for moms are more flexible as well, because you can choose how many days of the week you are working at your house and how many days will be at the office.

Secondly, make sure that you are not falling for any of the at home jobs for moms scams that crop up from every direction. As soon as the better business bureau or other entity spots and shuts one of these down, a new one takes its place. While some of these can be nearly impossible to tell from the real deal, some of them are really blatant and obvious. A general hint would be never to pay for anything and to refrain from giving personal information until you have thoroughly checked out the company and the potential new job.

Finally, while most at home jobs for moms do not make any provisions or rules about how things are done in your home, others have rules that include no children in the work area during work hours, the type of equipment that you can use and others. With these type of at home jobs for moms, it might be just as easy to go ahead and go to a job away from the house.

Can I Work AND Look After My Young Children?

Well, I guess the answer is that depends upon your personal circumstances. Some families that I know of have found it relatively easy to balance the work / kids equation. A mixture of well behaved children, understanding employers and supportive families has enabled many a parent to breeze through life almost as if the young ones weren't there.

Others had a quite different experience and managed to survive the experience for a few years before finally realising that the weight of the mill stone around their neck was simply too great and it just wasn't worth dragging the kids to school every day, just to receive the standard telephone call every week or so saying that dear little Kevin was about to be sent home for the day because he had thrown a chair at a pupil in class. To make things worse, Kevin would be spending only mornings at school for the next week as punishment (???). Of course this sort of thing doesn't affect a working mum or dad at all because he or she can simply take unpaid leave and then return to work with absolutely no consequence.

This is of course until two weeks later a mystery bug decides to attack the whole family, rendering each person incapable of doing anything but moan and watch telly for a couple of days. No problem, you might say, but the thing with mystery bugs is that they don't attack everyone at once and get the job done quickly. Instead, they go for the systematic approach in which only one member of the family is afflicted at any one time. However, mystery bugs aren't all doom and gloom as they do allow a period of 48 hours between people. This just gives you enough time to go back to work, only to then have to spend the following weekend mopping up bodily fluids and doing without sleep, only to have to go back to work after the weekend as if nothing as ever happened.

There then is a period of reflection. It usually involves the back of a fag packet and a calculator and involves working out how much you actually have left from your wages after the tax man and your child minder have had their share. This is the point at which everything becomes clear! After having worked out that at the end of the week you have exactly 5 left, which wouldn't have been available if you hadn't worked, you decide to go to your local and purchase a couple of pints of beer. Working and having kids IS worth it after all.
