Believe me when I say to you these methods work. They're proven techniques that have produced results for countless others, and will do the same for you. You just need to get want it bad enough, and be motivated enough to take some kind of action. I mean even just a little bit of action is better than nothing.

You are literally promoting other people's products and creativity. Which is totally fine, seeing as all we really want is the cash at the end of the day. We don't want to go through the whole process of creating our own product, as that takes time, money and creativity, which you will have in abundance once you've made some money and quit that day job. You can make your own products later.

Right now, lets just concentrate on making some fast easy money, and this lazy man's business is definitely the way to go.

Affiliate Marketing is a revenue sharing venture between a website owner and an online merchant. The website owner will place advertisements on his websites to either help sell the merchant's products or to send potential customers to the merchant's website, all in exchange for a share of the profits.

For many website owners, this is a great way to earn some extra money without actually having to "do" anything. Well almost... All it involves is placing an ad on the affiliate's website. There's no selling or any real promotion on your part, or content creating. This is the responsibility of the product owner. The affiliate can just sit back and wait for the profits to roll in. When you know what your doing and when done correctly.

Now, you don't have to, but I recommend you do actually buy and use the products that you promote to others, otherwise, you know what you are...

And this really is the fun part. You get to try out the products all you want, play with them, put them to the test, etc. and if its no good, you ask for a refund. Most info products these days have a 30-60 day money back guarantee anyway. If not, don't buy it. You're customer's will expect this.

I believe an honest review is the best form of marketing as its just like telling a friend something that you're into and doing. That's how you should look at this. You're just recommending stuff to others.

In addition to your review and content on your product, you also want to try and add some of your own value to the deal. Like free support or coaching on how to use it. Maybe make a quick video showing your customer how to use it. Or some kind of free downloadable bonus that they can get only by purchasing through your affiliate link. You need to differentiate yourself somehow. And this is easier than it sounds.

Now, obviously, I can't give you a complete run down and detailed explanation of everything that you'll need to do to set up your lazy man's business. However, here's a basic outline:

Step 1: Find a product to promote. One word - Clickbank. There are other sites for affiliate products, but this is the leader.

Step 2: Research appropriate keywords that relate to your chosen product - Google's Keyword Tool

Step 3: Set up a mini-site that includes a squeeze page to collect names and emails from your visitors

Step 4: Create some content that tells the reader or viewer why they should check out your product. Then leave your affiliate link - when they click on it, they are taken to the sales page of the product owner, and its then over to them to close the sale.

Step 5: Sit back and check your emails that will tell you how much money you've made.

From start to finish, this can all be done over a weekend.

The beauty of this system is that once you've set it all up, you can walk away from it and set up another one if you want to. In fact I highly recommend you do. If you're a motivated person, all you need is 5 of these little mini-sites bringing in about $500 per week, and you're on a six figure income already. This is very achievable within a few short weeks, if you know what you're doing.

Trust me, once you've done the first one - the subsequent ones are easy. Just follow the same steps. Rinse and repeat.

Now, I know that all this is nothing new, and you've probably tried affiliate marketing before. I remember a time when I would arrive at my meeting and I would stand at the door patiently waiting for my guests. I was waiting for the guests who promised me they would attend my meeting. I was anxious to see those that would actually attend the meeting. I was also waiting for my cell phone to ring for those who were going to make excuses. After the presentation, I would ask my guests what they thought about the presentation. Most of my guests would say, "Sounds interesting." However, almost always when I asked my guests if they were ready they would say they did not have the money right now. Another excuse that was popular was they needed to talk it over with their spouse. They also used the excuse that they had a family member that was in the same business and it did not work out for them. I would think to myself here we go again. Another famous statement they would make was, "I am not a salesperson". The all time famous statement is, "Is this is a pyramid?" How many of you have heard those statements before? I know I have countless of times.

My sponsor would then tell me not to be discouraged and to apply the 3 foot rule. The 3 foot rule suggests that everyone I came within 3 feet of I would give them a card or try to pique their interest. I did recruit some people with this method but not a lot. While some of these techniques do work, it is a slow and arduous road to take.

Let us look at internet MLM. First, there are no lists to be called. There is no need for you to beg family or friends to come and attend the opportunity meetings. There are no flyers, no business cards and no rejections. As you can see, the differences are substantial. There are no products to sell or deliver. In the internet MLM everything is a push of a button. There is no need for you to recruit and sell. You do not have to convince anyone to join or deliver any products. Lastly, you do not have to wait in hotel lobbies for guests. I do not think I need to go any further, the differences are obvious. I know this is what lured me away from traditional MLM. I can truly call this a home based business!

Recently, I read a book that labeled MLM the new profession to be involved with as far as home based businesses. We who choose this career path need to decide which method is preferred. Look at both systems and decide which is better for you!

Freelance Graphic Design and Writing Made Easy - Part 2

Well, you're probably eager to get clients, and yes having clients is obviously an important component of running a freelance business. However, there's an important step you need to take before getting clients. And that is the step that most freelancers overlook.

You need to define what type of clients you want to attract to your freelance business.

See, most people go into business thinking, "I'll take anyone who will give me money." You want to know the truth in 2 words about this approach to doing business?

Big mistake!

When you don't have a clear picture of who your ideal client is, then your marketing materials (including your own mouth) are going to be vague in their ability to communicate the services you offer. As a result your marketing won't connect with your audience the way it needs to for you to develop a successful business.

And trust me, there are plenty of people that you don't want to work with, regardless of how much they'll pay you! To say that you will work with anyone who will give you money is simply a scarcity mentality (ie: the mentality of believing there's not enough of what you want, or that you don't deserve it).

Once you've gotten very specific about the type of client you want to attract, then we can begin crafting communication to that client in a way that connects with them, and in a way that gets them to hire you over the competition.

Ready to get started? Here we go...

1. You'll probably notice that all my business processes begin with visualization. To start with, begin visualizing your ideal client. If you had total confidence in your abilities (or if you already do), who would you most like to work with? What type of client would give you the most joy to work with? What type of client would you be inspired to do your best work for?

2. Open a blank page in your favorite word processing application, and write about your relationship with this client. Write about the experience of you guys working together. Everything you just visualized above. Now, put it into writing. Write about how it feels to have lunch with this client, and talk about the project you are working on together.

3. Now, let's get curious about your client. Imagine getting into a conversation with this client over lunch. In your mind, let's ask this client a few questions. In this example you are working with a client to help them with their business. However, if your goal isn't to help business people, feel free to adapt these questions to whatever your own practice helps people with (or will help people with).

- What type of struggles do you face in your business?
- What kind of dreams do you have for your business?
- What would your business look like in an ideal world?
- Who are your ideal clients?

Add any other questions you can think of. Also, ask your imaginary client anything else they want to tell you about their business or about what they want.

4. Now write the answers to these questions down. You are beginning to gather great content to use in your marketing materials (which we are going to get to later). You are also getting clear in your mind about who you are going to work with in your freelance practice, which is going to help attract that to you. Write down any other ideas about your ideal client that got triggered by your imaginary conversation.

5. The last step before we conclude this part of How to Go Freelance is to start brainstorming where this type of client hangs out. Ie: Where are you going to find them? If you want, you can go back to your imaginary conversation with this client. Ask them for some of their interests. See if you can find out some of the communities or associations they are involved with.

6. So now you hopefully have a clear picture of your ideal client, and are beginning to get an idea of how to communicate with this client in a way that connects with them powerfully and personally.
