3. Track Everything - Keep track of your goals, what you get done, and why you don't get everything done. I have a schedule, a calendar, and a journal that keep track of everything I need to do and everything I've done. That data is invaluable in planning from day to day.

4. Take Care of Yourself - Eat well, sleep enough, and get plenty of exercise. The people who seem to have the most trouble are the ones who eat junk food and sleep four hours a night. Trust me, if you take care of yourself, that extra hour at the gym will be well worth it.

5. The Multitasking Trap - I hate to tell you this, but multitasking is NOT your friend. I know. It's hard to believe, right? But, the truth of the matter is that even good multitaskers are more prone to abandon a task half finished or get distracted by a new idea. Feel free to eat your cereal and type at the same time, but don't attempt to do three or four projects at once. You probably waste more time than you save switching back and forth between tasks.

The moment you write it down, it has started to become real. So go ahead and write it down, now! Step #2: You Must Look At It Everyday

The single most compelling reason why you must write down your goals is so that you can look at them and read them daily. And it won't hurt to read them aloud to yourself! And this is so that you can deeply ingrain them in your subconscious mind. Place your goals where you can see them when you wake up and when you go to bed. When you surround yourself with your goals, your subconscious mind goes work on it and lead you to the right actions you need to take to achieve them. And, again, life will re-arrange itself bringing in circumstances you could never have dreamed of, that will take you to your goal. It's true!

Step #3: You Must Know And Pay The Price

Hm! That sounds like some big sacrifices you have to make. Actually, it's less dramatic. Yes your dreams may be big - in fact I hope they are gargantuan. However the price you have to pay is not huge! They are small. Tiny. Baby steps. Easy to do steps. And also easy not to to do. In fact they are easier not to do.

Whatever your goal is, there is a price. And you must pay that price. However you don't have to pay for your one million dollar dream, with a hundred thousand dollar check. You can pay for it with a penny a day. And you must understand what that penny is and be prepared to pay it.

It may be as simple as giving up on junk food for the sake of your health; or giving up your right to be right or always exerting control in your conversations for the sake of your relationships; or delaying certain purchases; all for the sake of your long term goals. It could be your desire to earn a six-figure monthly income in your Internet home business opportunity.

Step #4: You Must Have A Plan To Begin With

This is where a lot of people are thrown off track. People want to put together the perfect plan. Ways to Stay Productive in Residual Income Opportunities
