Two Great Benefits of Being a Home Based Business Dad
There are many benefits to being a work from home dad. Some are very obvious and some are not so apparent. Being a home based business Dad, I can truly state it is a wonderful life. Is it all lollipops and unicorns? Of course not, but the benefits exponentially outweigh any potential pitfalls. Maybe you are contemplating being this kind of father or may know someone is also thinking about making a significant change in their life. Maybe you have embraced the spirit of entrepreneurism and want to pursue it in the comfort of your own private residence. I will give two compelling reasons why you should seriously think about this life altering lifestyle. I think the most obvious and maybe the most important benefit is quality time spent with your family. Notice I did not state time with family, I stated "quality time" with your family, and there is a huge difference between the two. Quality time gives you an opportunity to really concentrate on each of your family members needs and desires without having a thousand other things on your mind, i.e. mainly your nine to five employment and everything it entails. Your mind is more focused on your loved ones, as opposed to it being cluttered with things that should take a back seat insofar as your quality time with your family is concerned. A not so obvious benefit, it gives you a great opportunity to do what you love to do and that is being an entrepreneur, if that is your passion. There is no price tag for this lifestyle. When you do what you love regarding your vocation you tend to excel in your chosen field of endeavor, and life becomes a beautiful thing, much more than you ever imagined. You have the potential become a much happier and fulfilled human being. There is something extraordinary about pursuing your dreams and not pursuing someone else's. Yet there are literally millions upon millions of people that have jobs they dread going to everyday. In other words they hate their jobs and tend to be unhappy or unfulfilled at least eight hours of every day Monday through Friday, fifty weeks a year. Let's assume the average unhappy employee works thirty years and then retires. Let's do the math on how many hours she or he spent being unhappy during that thirty year period. I will multiply forty hours per week times fifty weeks (assuming two week vacation per year) which is 2,000 hours. Now multiply 2,000 hours times 30 (years) equals 60,000 hours. Wow, sixty thousand hours of unhappiness, what a terrible price to pay for so called job security! In summary, being a home based business dad has two very compelling reasons for you to seriously consider, if you are thinking about making this major lifestyle change and working from home. The two aforementioned benefits are my main reasons for choosing this lifestyle. It is by far one of the greatest decisions I made in my adult life. The positive impact it has on my family and me is without measure. The quality family time you can have with your family, only you will know its significance once you have experienced it.
