It can be a lot of work for the landlord
However, running a quiz is a lot of work for an already busy landlord. Researching sufficient questions each week, putting together the question sheet and some posters and so on can be too much like hard work and that is where you can come in to help them out.

First, visit a few local pubs on their mid week evenings, checking that they do not already run pub quizzes and see when they are quiet. Then just have a word with the landlord and ask if he or she has considered running a pub quiz. When they say that they have but the effort of finding the questions and promoting it is too much, that us where you can come in.

You can help support their needs
Offer for a small amount to do the leg work for them. Tell the landlord clearly what you are offering to give them and what it is you would want in return. If you are the outgoing type then you might also want to offer your services, for an additional fee, as quiz master, but for most people that is unnecessary and the pub would rather save their money and run that bit themselves.

Then all that you need to do is to research the questions, put together a few themed question sheets and hand them over each week. This is actually a lot easier to do than it sounds! For example, if you want a 40 question quiz, you can easily buy a sports quiz book that provides tons of sports questions and pick 10 questions from that for your quiz. Do the same for music and entertainment, or whatever best suits your customer. Add to that 10 questions about current affairs by reading the newspapers in the week and you have everything you need.

Promote yourself further
To make sure the evening is well noticed you can simply design a few basic posters advertising the quiz, print them out and hand them over. And by the time you have done this for a handful of local pubs you are well on your way to a good little home business. But to push it further, print out some answer sheets (a piece of paper with "Team Name" on the top and numbers down the side!) and add a link to your own website, which tells people about the service you are offering. This way players stand a chance of seeing what you are doing and telling other landlords in the area, who might also catch on!

Observing The Masters

The move of a MASTER...

The way they FLOW...

The way they POSSESS the HEART of the onlooker.

One day a little over 5 years ago I got an email from the MASTER that I hoped to persuade to be my mentor.

He said to me...You must come to a get together Diane.

You must sit with GIANTS and observe them

For most of what you want to acquire can not be taught via phone (let alone webinar)

Most of what you want to posses is an attitude..a vibe...a BEING

And so I went...scared to death to sit at a dinner with a dozen powerful business owners.

Petrified that I would have a slip of the tongue and reveal that I was nothing more than a housewife.

I was sure that they would reject me...

But instead they embraced me and one by one they shared secrets and moves that had made them MILLIONS

But in the end it was still only the original master that I had traveled to see that interested me as a teacher.

Why???

Because he was the Master of the masters.

And what I didn't know was that that evening was my AUDITION

The test to see if I had what it takes.

And he had decided that I did...and my lessons began the next morning.

And like a kid on the first day of kindergarten I showed up eager to learn and full of excitement.

And like a child..time and time again I was CORRECTED over the course of years until FINALLY I had acquired the code myself.

And today I am able to wield it.

I have been very successful and for this I am THANKFUL...

And I spend my days doing all I can to find the people that I can pass this along to.

So now for my advice to you dear reader...

Look for the subtlety...

Look for the masterful.

There will ALWAYS be young brash gladiators who will enter the field and conquer for a while.

They seem young, and sexy and successful...

But me...

I always looked for the old sage.

The one who had been in the game 10, 15, or better yet 20 years.

The one who had seen it all and had survived to tell the tales.

The ones with the WISDOM.

And the one who didn't need to attract attention as they were power embodied.

This is so hard to understand for some...

Like I said..it is SUBTLE.

While I was going through my schooling I often asked why my master didn't go for the 'easy" money

Why he didn't do a quick pitch or write a masterful sales letter as there are few who can do it quite like him...

I couldn't understand why he would pass up such riches.

And he explained that when one TRANSCENDS the need to take money from people and moves into true STATESMANSHIP is when his legacy will be secured.

If you KNOW you can attract a raving crowd on demand...there is no longer need to do so...

There is only need to SERVE.

And if you look around...

This industry has a lot of hot shots

A lot of big earners

A lot of "gurus"

But VERY FEW statesmen (this is not a gender specific term)

I can count them on both of my hands.

These people...and their faithful students

These are the ones that will teach you the CODE that lasts forever...

That will be here long after Facebook is gone (and I promise you that it WILL be gone someday)

What will you study in 2011?

It's almost here you know.

In a blink of an eye.

What will you focus your efforts on?

A passing fad or timeless wisdom?

How to do a computer trick or how to get people to eat out of the palm of your hand?

The choice is YOURS...
