First off, you should discuss this with everyone, including your friends. Tell them that your home will now be your business center and at certain times, they may not be welcome there because of your work. Let your kids tell their friends as well. Declare an area in your home as a business center and its off limits to everybody and should be a low noise zone as well.

Second, create a business plan where you will be able to chop and scatter your work schedule at home in times where the family is not completely together.
