When building a better online business you have to realize that you are the person responsible for your success. This can be a hard thing to grasp, but once you get it, a real transformation happens. You have to be positive, persistence and never give up. But this can be really hard if you are both overwhelmed and constantly are faced with new things and challenges. So how do you stay positive and how can you build a positive momentum instead of the other way around?

You are already successful - You have to realize that you already are successful! You may think that you haven't had any success in your online business yet, but you have! Deciding to start an online business is a success, starting an online business is a success, deciding to build a better online business is a success. Even if you don't think these are successes, start to think about successes you've had in other areas of your life.

Maybe you succeeded in sports? Maybe you've succeeded in building relationships by finding the right partner. Maybe you took your drivers license. Whatever it might be, start to realize that you are a successful person, because you are! These big or small successes that you've had all sums up to a big successful person, and that is you.

This "success mindset" will start to build a positive momentum for you and things will start to get a lot easier for you. When obstacles show up you will easily break through them and that leads to even more success.

Finding your successes can be hard in the beginning so to help you out, do this every evening before you go to bed:

Make a list of all the successes you've had during the day - Instead of worrying and thinking about things that didn't go your way during the day, start to focus on the positive. Do this by making a list of all the big and small successes you've had during the day. It doesn't have to be complicated. Maybe you wrote an article, that's a success. Maybe you called a lead, that's a success. Maybe you attended a webinar, that's a success. Whatever comes to mind, write it down and celebrate your success!

Again, all these small successes will add up and you will start to realize that you are a successful person. And what does a successful business owner do and have? A better online business where challenges and failures quickly turns into victories and successes.

Pushing Through Barriers For Success in Your Home Business

What's greater, your Desire to Quit or your Desire to Succeed?
NO one who has ever had any sort of success with a home business quit before reaching their desired result. Plain and simple, right? Talk to any successful home business owner and they will tell you that they ALL had several moments when they wanted to quit. When the initial newness of an exciting and potentially lucrative business venture wears off, it is at that point when most new wannabe home business owners want give up and quit. That's the moment when you look at yourself in the mirror and decide how much "character development" you want to endure. What is your motivation for risking so much? Is it just simply making more money, or is it the freedom that a certain amount of capital will achieve? Only you can decide your why but if it's not big enough, then you are missing a key component driving you towards success.

Building Momentum
Momentum is easy when you first start something. All of the info is right at your fingertips. You might go over all of the most interesting pages of the website, getting immersed in the training modules, setting up your funnel. But what happens when its time to get to the real work or a year goes by and very little success has happened for you? At that point, Momentum seems like a long lost love maybe never to return. Reprogramming your Self Talk
So you've figured out your why and you're focused on engaging in actions that lead to results. There's another tool I recommend for pushing through the barriers keeping you from success - changing your "self talk". Self talk is the ideas and agreements you allow to play about yourself in your mind. Most of us are programmed with thousands of negative, self-defeating messages: "I'm not smart enough to do this business", "I don't know what I'm doing", "Those guys are successful because they have something I don't." If you are listening to these messages while trying to work your business, that lack of confidence will color your work. I can't stress the importance of taking 15 to 30 minutes at the beginning of your work day to VISUALIZE being successful. Start reprogramming the negative messages in your mind with positive, success-driving messages: "I'm learning more and more every day about my business", "I have the ability to help others with what I've learned", "I am equipped with EVERYTHING I need to be successful!" Reprogramming your self talk may seem too simple or just straight up cheesy. I challenge you to prove me wrong. Try it for 30 days and see what impact these steps have in pushing you through your home business barriers!
