Robert Allen Multiple Streams of Income - Is It Worth the Hype?

Robert Allen Multiple streams of income is creating waves all over the globe; but the question is, is it really worth it? Do you actually end up getting rich and making money for yourself with Robert Allen's strategies? We all know that all of these get rich quick ideas are scams, so how is Robert Allen any different?

Well, surprise, surprise, multiple streams of income is one of those things which are legitimate, rare, as it is, this fact is true. Robert Why else would it have sold so many copies? Not only is the book a great find, Robert's videos and seminars too, go a long way in helping you increase your money.

Is It Really Legitimate?

The first thing which you would notice is that Robert Allen is actually a real person and not some pseudonym which someone has used to pen the book. He is actually a New York Times Bestselling author, so this program is very much legitimate.

Allen learnt all about making money the hard way. He graduated with his MBA degree in 1974 and with the meager capital he had, he made a few investments. What happened after that is a classic success story. In just a couple of years he managed to raise over a million dollars in profits and he's going to teach you how to do the same.

Proof

Okay so is Multiple streams of Income something that is designed for people who understand the complicated world of business? No! Think about it, there are so many ordinary people out there who have written REAL testimonials.

You don't get that kind of response if there isn't some concrete substance in the book right? People have used the tips in Multiple streams of income to save their families after the loss of a job and the like. So maybe, just maybe, the man has a point or two!

What is more, Robert Allen has had a strong online presence for upwards of four years. If it were a phony business, then it would be all too easy for his site to disappear once people started asking for their money back. But Robert Allen's been going strong hence, Robert Allen Multiple streams of income can't be all bad.

But, let me be clear on this: you can't make money by just reading the e-book. You have to supplement it by watching videos, doing in depth research and figuring out how the entire system works. In short, you have to know how to use [http://domsmarketingtips.com/ez20]Robert Allen Multiple Streams of income to its full potential, so just go to [http://domsmarketingtips.com/ez20]http://domsmarketingtips.com/ez20.

How to Start an Online Business That Earns: It Begins by Reading a Quality Book That Teaches You How

If you've ever considered starting your own online business, but don't have a clue on how to start an online business, then your first and logical step should be to learn how.

An obvious and handy resource to begin with then, would be a top quality book, which not only teaches you how to start an online business, but also teaches you how to start one that actually earns you money.

One book, which I have read and highly recommend is, KaChing - How to Run an Online Business that Pays and Pays by Joel Comm - New York Times Best Selling Author and Social Media Expert. A clever title, don't you think? - as KaChing is the sound a cash register makes when a sale is made.

In terms of internet business start-up costs, this is the first thing that is going to cost you some money. I'm not talking a liver or kidney though. I'm talking very little money - chicken feed.

I suggest you grab a copy and read the entire thing at least twice before you do anything else. Once you have read it, you will have understood why.

This is a must-have to add to your library of books. You will have a clear boardwalk to the three most vital factors, which determine the value of your blog or site: content; traffic; and revenue systems.

You will learn how to find a topic or niche unique to you. You will also learn about different ways of creating original quality content, social media, and five methods of earning revenue online (internet business models that actually work).

I have gained a lot of valuable and priceless information on how to start an online business from reading this book, and I'm sure you will too.

This is a solid comprehensive guide to starting and running an internet business. For someone new to internet business, or who has one that isn't making any money, this is an excellent road-map (with juicy information), which will put you on the right track.

So if you've ever considered starting your own online business, but don't know how, then put this excuse to the side - for good. Go out and learn how.

This starts by finding and reading a top notch book, which will teach you how to start an online business that earns you revenue. I've made it easier for you, and recommended one already for you. However, by all means you are welcome to read any book you like. Just get started!

How To Become A Freelance Internet Writer

For budding writers hoping to gain a regular income from the written word the internet has proven to be a new and invaluable resource. Where once it would have been very difficult for writers to support themselves as they learned their craft, and paying writing gigs were few and far between, now there are hundreds of sites all over the web and indeed all over the world, where it is possible to pick up some freelance writing work to get them started and keep them going.

Clearly no new writer is going to be able to jump straight into working for the New York Times or writing for GQ magazine. Where you would have traditionally needed a journalism background or at the very least a degree in English, you will find the rules are still pretty much the same as ever and the field still as competitive (if not more so). Likewise if you are interested in copywriting, you will not be able to walk straight into a top agency or copywriting firm and a highly paid job.

However, what the internet has done is given new writers a chance to build a portfolio, get a small income stream going and get experience of writing to order. Sites such as Odesk, Virtual Assistants, Sologig, and Elance offer a level playing field for writing contracts. On these sites it is not who you know, but how well you write. They all offer a huge variety of job categories and all of them include a category for writing. On Elance, for example, the category is called "Writing & Translation" and it covers anything to do with the written word, from SEO copywriting to ghost writing, from advertising blurb to helping people edit their novel. Projects are advertised and the writer that submits the best proposal and the most competitive price will be awarded the job. That's the good news. The bad news is that the numbers of people competing for jobs goes up every month. So to get started, and to do well on these job sites, you need to have both a well written and enticing profile, a portfolio of good work for prospective buyers to look through, and good feedback from clients. Your reputation is everything on the job boards. Every job you complete will be reviewed and rated, and these reviews will help your next prospective client decide whether to choose you. This also means that when you are starting out you need to bid much lower than other writers on jobs and then submit faultless work, in order to start building good feedback. The more positive feedback you get, the more likely you are to get another client. Once you've got a few clients, you'll start to feel like a freelance writer!

One other route to consider simultaneously is paid blogging. Paid blogging is gaining in popularity as site owners and administrators look to increase ranking and exposure for their sites. Some site owners will want people to guest blog on their site, whilst others will be looking for writers to write elsewhere and link back to their site. Both pay roughly the same, although both often come with requirements that the posts are also promoted via social networking. Another kind of paid blogging is where large companies will hire a writer to compose and update their weekly company blog. This might require taking information they email you about the company performance, product releases, staff news and other items, and making it sound interesting to the wider world.

Finally, if you can learn the basics of SEO this will also help you to get more work. Many companies these days on the internet are looking not just for good writing, but also writing that has been optimized for the search engines. Master this skill and you'll never be short of work!

Work From Home Typing Jobs - Top 3 Ideas

Have you been looking at work from home typing jobs to make some additional income? Perhaps you're a parent looking for extra income to help with child raising expenses. Or, you've been laid off recently and need some extra income to help with bills. No matter what the reason, the internet community is always searching for individuals who are willing and able to type. But what kind of typing jobs are available online? Below I'll discuss my top 3 ideas for work from home typing jobs.

Freelance Writing
Sites like elance.com connect people with writing, technology and other skill sets with companies looking to outsource work to these talented individuals. If you have specific typing skills or experience in a specific industry such has health, technology, engineering, etc. and are able to write well, there are companies on these freelance sites looking for people who can write documentation, technical manuals, articles as well as many other items. You simply need to set up a profile on one of these sites and bid on some jobs. As your clientele and reputation grows, you will likely get repeat business.

Article Writing
When I first heard of article writing on the internet, I assumed is was for online magazines or papers like the New York Times. The fact is, there are lots of business owners who need people to write short, informative, interesting or humorous articles to help market their products, and you don't need a degree in journalism. Many business marketers simply can't generate enough articles on their own, so they hire others to do it for them. These make great work from home typing jobs.

Online Advisor
There are some online sites that have a staff of individuals who will answer questions posted from other people. You would simply accept a question, perform some research to obtain an answer, then reply in a well written manner. These sites may require some research related experience and excellent grammar and spelling skills.

With a little patience, determination and can-do attitude, you should be able to find an online typing opportunity that is a perfect fit for your needs.

Next, when you consider how large the internet has become and that individuals from all over the world are making extraordinary incomes online, wouldn't it be nice to have your own work from home typing jobs instead of having to work for someone else? The Internet - A Community of the World

Learning online is a gift of technology. The computer is almost like many libraries around the world. Information and entertainment come easy and helpful as used wisely by students, professionals, workplaces and homes.

Learn these easy steps to conduct your research:

A.

1. Consult general reference works to gain background information and basic facts, bibliographies, computerized data bases and other sources.

2. Use Almanacs and Yearbooks to provide up-to-date information on any topic along with statistical facts.

Atlases like the Hammond Atlas, the National Geographic Atlas of the World, and the New York Times Atlas of the World can help you identify places anywhere in the world and provide information about climate, places, and industry.

3. Consult Biographical Dictionaries ( noted authors of all time and contemporary authors), dictionaries (give correct usage of words and some information), and Encyclopedias (provide primary information and explanations). Random House and the new Columbia Encyclopedia give brief overviews. Collier's and Encyclopedia Britannica contain more detailed information.

4. Find specialized reference works

Bibliographies and indexes are tools. They help locate books and periodicals like magazines, newspapers, etc.

B.Computerized Resources

1. Databases are large collections of electronically stored information that function like indexes. Many library catalogs today are computerized as well, in the form of online databases.

Internet links, websites, and blogs are sources of additional and updated information.

Searching for works that are relevant to your topic is called browsing.

Most online catalogs allow you to perform key word searches. Making your keyword specific as possible will result in the most useful list.

Other sources of information are documentaries, surveys, special/rare articles/book collections.

2. Searching Online

The internet is a vast network of networks.

It is composed of the Electronic Mail (e-mail) where you can send electronic messages to any of millions of people around the world, newsgroups and blogs which serves as public bulletins, among others.

3. World Wide Web

While the rest of the Net is primarily text-based, the Web employs texts, pictures, graphics, videos, and more.

Web pages are linked to the others. To read Web pages, you need a browser program like the Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, or Yahoo! Web crawlers also search the Web and a number of web tools, pages and links.

4. Evaluating

The more you research, the more expert you become at determining whether a source is useful.

Know the subject. Is the subject directly related to my research question? Does it provide information that support my view?

How about the author? What do I already know about the author's reputation? Is the author cited by other sources? Am I aware of any biases that might limit the author's credibility?

When was the source published (date)?

Who published the source (publisher)?

The electronic address suffix

.edu educational institution
.com commercial or business
.gov government
.mil military
.net various types of networks
.org nonprofit organizations

Check this:

How dated or current is the information?
How literate or accurate is the site?

In college research papers, the original published source will be considered somewhat more reliable. The fact that it is duplicated on a Web page (ownership to original author/writer) is a testimony to further texts/manuscript utility.

Top Home Based Business - The Best Way to Work From Home

Most people would love to work from home. Well most people would love the idea of what working from home is and what it gives you. That is, time flexibility, financial freedom, being your own boss, working your own hours etc.

What however, stops most of us, is the fear to take that leap of faith or find the right business for us. We want to find the top home based business but where do we start? So we keep meandering along the current path where our financial and lifestyle dreams elude us.

The problems with working from home can be vast, high risk, arranging office space, etc. The list can go on and on, and let's not forget the money side of things. Most small businesses costs thousands to start up and working from home may mean you need to rearrange your house and pay thousands in inventory costs. Finding that top home based business is tough.

I spent a lot of time researching to find that top home based business. My aim was to find a business that provided me with the ability to work from home, yet not having to risk quitting my job while I start it. I wanted a top home based business that allowed me to have small start up costs, but still provided me with huge earning potential.

I then stumbled upon a world renowned financial author Robert Kiyosaki. His book Rich Dad Poor Dad won the New York Times bestseller. He explained a very important concept called the cash flow quadrant - the very first tool I used to help fine me that top home based business.

He explained that people were in four categories. The Employee, The Self Employed, The Investor and The Business Owner. Basically, the self employed although their own boss, trade hours for dollars and if they take a break from their business so does the money from their pockets. The employee is the same, trading hours for dollars and working for the boss who earns all the money. The investor, well there is huge potential there but you need a lot of money to make money. The real system that works for you is business. He explained having a system that allows you to work less and still earn great money is where you can really become rich.

I had to be on the B side of the quadrant. I had realised that a financial expert had basically pointed me in the direction of a top home based business. The answer was in that B quadrant. I did some more research on the author and realised he endorsed Network Marketing.

Network marketing really is the top home based business, with little start up costs, an ability to contribute as much time as you like, great earnings potential, no risk and the ability to obtain your desired lifestyle. There is no competition like in a corporate hierarchy and everyone helps each other succeed. They key with network marketing companies is to do your research! Find the best company. The one that pays you well, rewards you for your efforts, is very team orientated and has a wonderful product.

Recent News Today in Internet

There are thousands of websites available which publishes recent news within few hours of the incident. In addition to this, many established newspapers like New York Times and The Telegraph and almost all leading magazines have started publishing their online editions. These well known websites command a large viewership as they already have a very good reputation as far as presentation of news is concerned.

It has also been seen that almost all the major search engines like Google and Yahoo have started their news section. They publish the recent news category wise and they take the news items from the various websites that publish that news. This effort has a positive and negative aspect in different ways. The viewer goes to Google or Yahoo news and gets all the details of the news items. Thus Google news gets established as a brand in his mindset. The various news related websites which get enlisted on Google news never gets positioned as a brand on its own in the web news world.

Still it has been seen that many such news related websites struggle for getting enlisted in Google news. Their advantage is that Google is offering them a huge platform and these not so big websites get a huge amount of traffic by getting enlisted in Google news without much effort. It was not possible for them to get that huge amount of traffic on their own effort until and unless they are an established brand on their own. These websites earn revenue from the traffic they get as they have AdSense or bidvertiser or other pay per click advertising accounts in their websites.

Another interesting factor is that these websites cover various categories of recent news. Some of the websites cover news items exclusively for certain sectors. There are many websites which cover news only on technical gadgets. Some websites cover news items only on recent mobile phones while another seemed to be covering only iPad related news items. They are normally listed under science and technology category in the Google news section.

One can get details of news covered one very topic under the sun in the news section of these big search engines like Google or Yahoo. In that sense, they are really posing a strong competition to the online editions of the reputed brands also.

The cost of publishing news in these websites is also very easy as they get lot of information on their subjects from the Internet. Most of these websites are hosted on WordPress and thus uploading of content can also be quite easily done. They are getting both traffic and advertisement from Google platform and hence really doing a very good business.

Home Based Business - Why Your Customers Will Cut You Off at the Knees If You Fail to Do This Right

Jason made the mistake of thinking that it was going to take years. Let me tell you why he was dead wrong.

Jason was only 24 years old when he decided to get his insurance license.

Like his uncle Doug, Jason wanted to someday run his own insurance firm and have other people work for him. That's why Jason didn't hesitate to become part of his uncle Doug's insurance agency. He wanted to hit the ground running and learn everything about the insurance business quickly.

There is no question that Jason had the enthusiasm and willingness to do whatever was necessary to build a successful insurance business. But, just like your home based business, making it big sometimes means taking a different path.

Most new insurance agents make a list of all their family, friends and neighbors. These are usually the first people new agents contact in order to make their first sales. In Jason's case----this was NOT to be his approach.

Fortunately, Jason's uncle Doug made a very smart move. Doug made Jason his business partner and really took him under his wing. Rather than spend years trying to get through the "bottom of the pile" and compete with other agents looking to sell policies to the average everyday stranger, Doug had a better plan for Jason.

It is clearly evident that, you don't have to spend years trying to "work your way up the ladder" and hope that all that work leads you to a successful career. The fact is, you and your home based business---just like Jason----can start at the top.

We can all agree, that this is a unique idea for your home based business.

But, don't fool yourself. You are still going to have to work long and hard to be successful.

Jason's goal was to sell insurance to affluent business owners only. And with the help he got from his uncle Doug, Jason was on the "fast track". Here is what Jason learned that you need to apply to your own home based business if you want to be successful.

Obviously, if you want to have a home based business built with team members that are already successful making a minimum of $100,000 in their regular businesses, this is what you must do otherwise they will rip you apart and cut you off at the knees.

Think of the team members for your home based business as your customers. You will have "no credibility" trying to recruit them if you don't read the same periodicals they read, watch the same TV shows and read the same books. If they read the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Investor's Business Daily and Fortune Magazine-----you better be doing exactly the same thing.

Don't lose your chance to be like Jason and build your home based business from day one with affluent team members. Get to understand your market, work it hard, be honest and you will gain the respect of affluent team members.

Try to fake it or take short cuts and your customers will know it. They will chop you off at the knees.

Living Stories - The Internet Strikes Again

As more and more of us choose to forgo darkening our fingers with newspaper pages and turn to opening web pages instead, we ask ourselves - are the days of sitting at the breakfast table with some toast and the Morning Herald soon to be a distant memory? It sure seems that way, as online news becomes more popular as more of us choose to access the latest news stories and updates via the Internet. As the world of online steadily integrates itself into our everyday lives, leaving many of 'tech savvy' Generation Y wondering what ever did we do without it, it seems inevitable that staying in touch with the global community and knowing what is happening will become online activities too.

Things are a'changing

A recent study by the Pew Internet & American Life Project showed that the Internet is now the most popular medium to obtain news from, over print newspapers and radio. Only TV news stations are more popular than the Internet, but with social television on the rise, these could soon be accessed online too, bringing the Internet to the number one position. Another recent study found that the average age of Internet users is 28 years old, and this was an age that was progressively turning to news online more than the old favourite of newspapers.

Living with Living Stories

And as we change our ways and turn to the Internet for our news sources, of course the Internet's news sources are changing right along with us. Living Stories is an experiment run by Google (teamed with The New York Times and The Washington Post) that looks to change the way we view and interact with news online. At the moment, we presumably view a news story, and then when an update is published, the story is published again with the changes - on a different web page with a different link and URL. The basic idea of a living story is to combine all of the news coverage on a running story on a single page. What Living Stories aims to do is have a sort of 'running commentary' on the news, where one web page is dedicated to that single news story, and any changes are then added to that page 'on the go' - in other words, the page is updated regularly with new developments, and remains at the same URL as the original breaking story. This of course allows readers to keep an eye on those stories that interest them, and get updates.

Better news faster

You can see why this would appeal - people could save those URL addresses in their favourites, and refer to it from time to time to see any updates or changes to that breaking news. This would definitely help in getting those big news stories, such as the recent earthquake in Chile, to the masses a lot more easily and a lot more efficiently. The experiment ran from December 2009 until February 2010, and was deemed a success by Google, with 75% of participants preferring the Living Stories online news formats than more traditional. At the moment, it is assumed that Google are working on creating the 'full' version of this to launch sometime in the near future.

The set out of a Living Stories news page is simple and easy to use - something we like when wanting to know the latest news headlines. A page has a headline and the article, but also a timeline where you can see the updates as they happen, as well as everything else related to that story - videos, quick updates, important quotes and more. You won't need to leave the page to get more information or newer, updated coverage. It's a presentation of news specifically designed for the online space and online thinking, rather than what occurs now where harried news reporters whip up their article onto the Net where it is viewed for a few hours before more recent news overpowers it. And it's just one more thing that Internet is making that little bit easier.
