Opening Your Own Accessories Business

Many people wish they can open a business. A little store perhaps. But it seems that only the already rich have enough capital to invest, and open their own business. So how do we middle class folk, who are looking to make a living, go about opening our own business without investing too much money?

There are items you can sell then will not cost you too much to buy, and start out. You can open an accessories business. You can begin with selling accessories such as hairbands, bows, belts, hats, and scarves. These items are pretty inexpensive to purchase and sell. You will not have to lay out very much money. You can start with just a few of each particular item. AS you make money, you can use that money t invest into your own business. You can them buy more stock. Eventually you will be able to add other types of accessories. Items that were too expensive at first. You can begin to include jewelry, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. You can add handbags and wallets. All of these are fun accessories.

Your target market for such a business is women. Women love shopping. They have a particular weakness for accessories and jewelry. Maybe this is because it is relatively inexpensive and is so much fun.

There is another great reason why an accessory business is a great one to start without requiring too much overhead. This is because you do not need a storefront. You can build a website. There are websites that can be bought for an extremely low monthly fee. Or, you can build a 'page' for your business on a social networking site. People get to see your products.

See what everyone is saying about them. All the comments gushing 'OMG, I love this," and 'can you get this in other colors," etc. All this adds to the excitement of the prospective customer, and makes them want to purchase even more.

An accessories business is really an easy one to have without a store front. Firstly, your stock should not take up too much room in your house, as they are not particularly large items. Also, people do not need to try them on. They can see over the computer screen. They do not need a perfect fit, or an exact match of color.

Wholesale accessories can be bought for fabulous prices from wholesale distributors. Search online. you will find that wholesale distributors will give you prices you will not even believe. The prices get cheaper as you purchase more and more items.

You can buy 25 headbands for $3 each which is still a fantastic wholesale price. When you buy 100 pieces, the price drops to $1.75 per headband, and then at 500 pieces you would be paying only 75 cents each.

I believe this is a great business for those of us who can not afford to invest in a large business. Buy wholesale accessories. Sell them form home. Before you know it, you may have yourself a booming business.

A great business to start is one selling accessories. Buy [http://www.wholesalefashionsquare.com/Wholesale-Accessories-Jewelry-s/28.htm]wholesale accessories straight from the wholesale distributors. Visit http://www.wholesalefashionsquare.com to make an order.

Google Pay Per Click Tips - Are You Investing or Wasting Your Marketing Dollars?

Just today, I was engaged to get better results on Pay Per Click for a cleaning guy in California and here are some serious problems that I noticed in the campaign:

1) All Keywords were in Broad Match (OMG big waste of money):

Did you know that when you place "roof cleaning" in broad match, someone searching for "buy new roof" or "roof installation" etc. could end up clicking on your Ad. What a waste of money if you never installed roofs!!

So not just choose keywords correctly also select the correct match type (Broad/Broad Match Modifier/Phrase/Exact)

2) Display Network was Switched on (Even more Wastage of Money)

Display networks are publishers or websites that have chosen to display Google Ads. Without careful monitoring, it is a big waste of money which people do not realize and just choose to go with the default setting wasting lot of their marketing dollars! Imagine a website providing "carpet installation" could be showing your Ads because you have "roof installation" placed in broad match & your Display Network is switched on. The broad match will match up your Ad because you have "installation" in both keywords.

Only if you know how Display networks would benefit, use 'em or else just disable that option.

3) Only 1 Ad Written...Boring & Tough to Expect a click

Just saw the CTR (No of times it got clicked vs. it was shown)was less than 0.5% which was fairly obvious...which means you might end up with a low quality score. People not clicking on your Ads may send out a signal that your Ads are not relevant. In the long-term, you might see a rise in per click cost with a declining quality score.

Always write multiple Ad copies and measure the performance to see which one is working & which one is not.

4) Bad Choice of keywords

Just everything that came up in Google suggestions was added without seeing what is useful, what is not.Absolute waste of money!! Choose your keywords & monitor the performance constantly. With Google suggestions, you got to be careful in your choice of keywords.

Finally, the only 1 good thing I found was at least the geography was set correctly. At least people in New York were not seeing the Ads show up for a Californian cleaning company!

Hope this helps you guys managing your Google, Bing Pay Per Click accounts! Call Me if you need any help or have questions - 888-682-7487.

Email: A Short History Of Where It Came From

The recent announcement by Facebook's founder, Mark Zuckerberg, of "modern messaging" got me thinking about email. Email is struggling now, some say its broken. It takes a lot of our time to clear out unimportant messages, and time wasting ones as well. While it's much faster than its snail mail grandfather, it doesn't always keep up with today's faster paced society. What, wait 15 minutes for a reply? Zuckerberg got the inspiration to create the new integrated feature that allows users to communicate with each other regardless of what they're using... email, chat, text messaging or Facebook.com from asking questions. His conversations with high school students and how they communicate with each other was quite revealing. They don't use email he learned. They find it "too formal" and too slow. They prefer faster, simpler methods of staying in touch such as chat, text messaging and Facebook. But a problem occurs is when you jump from one platform to the other; you lose the context of the last conversation. You have to start all over with a new one on the new platform.

Modern messaging solves this by housing all your conversation history with that person in a "social inbox". Sounds great, but it got me to thinking about email, and how long its been around. Actually, it hasn't been around that long at all. Even Google hasn't been with us that long (1997) even though I can hardly remember how I ever got along without it. So here goes: Email in one form or another has been with us since the early 1960's. Time sharing computers of the day could be programmed to exchange text messages and even real-time chat among users at different terminals. IM in the 60's, who knew? Those systems where "store and forward" systems like current day email systems. Electronic mail predates the creation of the Internet. Actually, it was a critical device in bringing it to life by allowing it's developers (not Al Gore) to collaborate one block of programing at a time.

In 1971 Ray Tomlinson added a program to those early messaging systems that allowed files to be copied over the (closed) network. He chose the commercial @ symbol to extend the addressing to the network "user @ host" is still the standard for email addressing today. Emails sent in the early 1970s look pretty much like ones sent on the net today. Although they weren't sent on open networks available to everyone. In the 1980's a more efficient SMTP protocol was created allowing senders to CC copy an email with more than one a addressee. This made email even more useful for communicating with multiple users. The first sanctioned commercial use occurred in 1988 when MCI Mail was connected to the NSFNET for "experimental use". Then in 1989, the CompuServe mail system also connected to the NSFNET. The beginning of large scale adoption of internet email on a global standard happened when Online Services connected their proprietary American Online (AOL) email systems to the internet in 1993. "You've got Mail" So unless you're a high schooler and commercial email started 4-6 years before you were born, it hasn't really been with us that long. Of course back then you had to wait for the "dial up" system to literally make a phone call over hard wires to connect with the internet servers. OMG... NFW...ILMFAO! OMG! - I Just Discovered the Absolute Fastest Way For Anyone to Make Money Online

I have to admit, sometimes I am just a tad bit irresponsible and I tend to find myself in tight situations. Usually I need a few hundred dollars within a few days or something is going to get cut off. Sound familiar? I don't like borrowing or asking people for money so I have to come up with creative ways to make some quick cash. Well recently, I ended up in this type of situation again. I know, shame on me.

But this time I decided to take to the internet and see what I could do to bring in some cash fast. So I browsed around a bit looking for what I would consider a simple way to make money fast. I didn't mind doing any work, I just didn't want it to be super complicated. Long story short, I discovered that online business owners all over the world are looking for people to do little tasks for them. These tasks include graphic design, programming, minor customer service stuff, writing articles and much more.

Well the writing articles part got my attention because I have experience with writing. So I knew it was something easy for me to do. So I did more research and found a few places where these online business owners hang out just looking for people to hire for these tasks. I ended up placing an ad, it cost $20, and within a week I had $600 in orders. Not bad right? But it didn't stop there. I decided to give it another go and see if I could hit that number again. And guess what?

The second time around I ended up with $648 worth of article orders in just 48 hours. I don't know about you, but I thought that was pretty amazing. And don't worry, if you don't like writing articles, you can just get the job and then outsource the work. You can play the middleman and still get paid nicely.

Changing Your Thinking is the First Step to Success in Your Online Home Based Business

A friend of mine says if I really want to change my thinking I need to work on changing my actions first. It all starts with you, he keeps telling me. While I know that works on a personal level I also know the same rule applies when it comes to achieving success in your online home based business. The real developments only occur when you really work on changing your thinking.

Bear with me a moment... I'm not one of those guys that skives off to a shed out back to find his domestic distance. Somehow it just happens when I sit down at the keyboard and start mumbling, grumbling and tapping away. That's why I like writing. It's the one time the wife really leaves me alone!

Magically, she seems to just disappear. I guess she figures she knows where I am and that I can't get up to too much mischief just sitting at a keyboard in our home office trying to avoid looking out at the yachts on the bay.

I guess she's upstairs out on the terrace drinking coffee and talking to her friends on the phone. Nothing wrong with that really...except that she's got a better view of the yachting than I have! OMG what was that? That little thought that just crept into my head. You know, I could work on that if I wanted to. She's up there just taking it easy while I'm down here slaving away and, and, and...

One of the hardest things I've ever had to do in life is take a hard look at myself. I won't go into that too deeply at this point, except to say that it's all part of a paralysing issue best explained in what I jokingly refer to as, the problem with wives and mirrors. To give an example, I came in from the garden the other day, my hands were dirty and I was in a rush to wash up. As I passed the office I caught a glimpse of my wife at my computer reading one of my articles. She was chuckling away and as I cleaned up in the bathroom I looked in the mirror and suddenly realised, she's laughing in all the wrong places!

The point I most want to make here is that no matter what you do, no-one will ever see you the way you see yourself and the bottom line is, when you look in the mirror, if you can't live with what you see then it's certainly time to take action.

You need to build a picture of where you want to go and then take the actions needed to get there. Remember the action comes first. If you consistently work on changing your actions, changed thinking will follow. I do it like this:

1. Always start with a daily plan, a to-do list

2. Follow the plan.

3. If you did not complete all of today's tasks, put them on your list for tomorrow.

If you are like me, you'll probably need to examine what happened at the end of the day because somewhere along the line something usually turns to custard. If you're ruthlessly honest with yourself you may find that the thing you really didn't want to do today actually got everything else done. Don't be too hard on yourself. Put it back on the list for tomorrow. Remember, each day has a new dawn.

Facing up to change isn't always easy. It's about working on developing a positive attitude. I'm doing it with the help of friends in our own online business. To find out how we tackle it go to: http://www.positiveattitudetowealth.com

MLM Builder Screams Out - Why I Hate Insurance But Why I Love It?

Let me first say that I am not an insurance salesman, I have never been an insurance salesman and although you may not realise it, insurance runs a big part of our lives.

I am an MLM Builder, a business developer and life skills coach, I hate insurance (And Love it). I dislike the fact we pay for something that we may never need but.... OMG, how different things could be without it!

Forget the big insurances for a moment. Take a minute and reflect on all our other insurances we take out without even knowing it.

Why are we told to finish school? Security for later employment perhaps?

Why get dressed in the morning? Insurance against the cold, public opinion or even maybe getting arrested?

Why do we have police if it isn't to insure against crime and equal standards.

Don't we leave home early when on our way to an important event so we can insure our arrival at the designated time?

Our actions are insurances against a less than desired outcome. Do you strap your kids into the car because you have to by law or because it insures their safety?

Hopefully I have made my point. Insurance is everywhere.

Why is it then that so many people will insure against every day catastrophes' but ignore insuring against things that could re-shape your life as you know it?

The screams are loud and clear. It wont happen to you. It costs too much money.

Now I'm no genius but people who insure their run down old car and not insure themselves and family for private health leave me confused and bewildered.

Fate can strike at any time; insurance is your safeguard against loss, damage or injury.

People will insure their house contents fearing burglary but will shy away from liability insurance that can see judgments against you if a personal injury occurred on your property?

Failure to insure is short sighted and can be very expensive to say the least.

Please remember, I am not and I repeat not an insurance salesman but I am someone that cherishes a particular lifestyle and will do whatever it takes to protect it.

Fourteen months ago totally out of the blue I suffered a stroke.

What I can categorically tell you is that without private health insurance, my family would be in the red for thousands upon thousands with nothing more than years of debt to look forward too.

Do you have income insurance?

I surely cannot be alone when describing a lack of insurance as a game of roulette with the lives of you and your loved ones at stake.

The latest figures I have come across (CBS) suggest that 47 million Americans do not have health insurance and another 27 million are under insured...Wow

From my way of thinking: If you are going to invest time, energy and finances into developing a better life you need to insure against the whole house of cards from coming crashing down...?

Look in today's paper. How many incidents are highlighted that would either be an advertisement for having insurance or a horror story about not having any.

The paper will articulate car theft, bank disclosures, burning houses, robbery, flu epidemics, corporate theft, floods, bush fires, accidents at home and the list goes on.

It happens to people just like you and me.The big question is whether or not you are going to insure yourself against the fallout from something that may or may not ever arrive unexpectedly on your door step.

Stay well.

You might be thinking, wow, this subject matter is a little left field after reading other posts and you may well be right.

The catalyst for this particular topic was ignited by a gentleman who is a keen reader of my posts. After reading what had happened with ILG, my former MLM, he shared a concept that required somewhat of a paradigm shift in reference to network marketing.

To my way of thinking it is just about as close as you can get to [http://workwithpetebennett.com/cp/c20-teambuilder.html]MLM Insurance without physically paying for it.

Have a look at it. Let me know your thoughts.

Work From Home Moms - The Real Scoop For Moms Who Want to Work From Home

First, you work from home moms (and dads), do not expect to make a normal, at work salary for the hours you put in. Typically, unless and until your business takes off, you will put in many hours of work for very little pay. And it takes time to build up your business - whatever it is. So if you need money fast, go find a normal, work-somewhere-else job.

Can stay at home moms make money while working from home? Yes, most certainly. But you must be patient and realize it takes time to build up an inventory and/or a clientele to buy from you. So, what can you do? Do you have any specific skills or hobbies which involve skills? Things like sewing, crocheting, needlepoint, or other types of crafts like clay sculpting, woodcarving, painting, beading or making jewelry? All of these are very viable, work from home skill sets.

If you don't know how to do any of these, you can probably find a local class or workshop which will teach you. Try and do something you like or think you will like. Some of the drawbacks to this approach is that it takes time to make whatever it is you are going to sell. Not only that, it takes money to buy the necessary supplies you will use to make things. Assuming you have or learn a particular skill and get the materials you need, then you have to build up an inventory. While you are making many, many items of whatever you are going to sell, take some time to research local craft shows and opportunities.

Most cities have many craft shows which showcase made at home items. The larger shows require a hefty fee to have a booth there. Many smaller shows - - like at local schools and churches - - either have a small booth fee or are free for the vendors. Do your research and find the shows and dates that you want to be a part of. Then reserve your booth or table, and keep working. That way, you know for which dates you need to have built up your inventory.

Now, as a secondary idea which may work out better than the crafty thing, there are many on line opportunities out there. I know because I have bought many of them, and basically, thrown away my money. However, there are some network marketing opportunities which are fairly easy and very inexpensive. If you have a network of family and friends, maybe a parents' school or church group, or a group of soccer or little league parents, then here is a great suggestion for a work from home job.

Before starting (or while starting) up a craft project to earn money, start a network marketing deal. It takes time to build up too, just like it takes time for you to build up a craft inventory. So if you get this part going so it can grow while you do your crafts, then you have 2 things going at once which will have a payoff for you on down the line. And hopefully, not too far down the line.

What kind of network marketing are we talking about? There are some which you have to get inventory and have home shows for people to come and buy things. Those are okay, and I've bought lots of cool, good stuff from those. But you must buy the inventory to show, and sometimes to sell before getting any payoff. For folks with a limited amount to invest, this is a problem. If you have some cash to use up front, there are many food and jewelry marketing opportunities you can find. I love the food products for Tastefully Simple - OMG. They are simply great. But they are expensive.

There is another opportunity which costs only $10 per month and requires no inventory at all. You just tell your friends and relatives and groups you are involved in about it, and send them to a website to watch a short video. The company made a number of videos which do all of the selling for you. If they watch the video and opt in, then you get a monthly payment. If they get someone to do the same, you get a monthly payment for them too.

This is the kind of work from home job that I would first start. Then while that is building and more and more people come in, you can work on your crafts. If you have a large network of friends and family, then you might not even have to do the craft thing. If you know people who are interested in making extra money, then this is a good opportunity as it is cheap and easy. If you know people who are interested in helping other people, this is a good way to do that too. Follow the link to find out more about this work from home opportunity.

Good luck!

Work at Home Parents - This is Success?

My life is a scale that is consistently unbalanced and I find it very difficult some days. Take a look into the typical day in the life of a work at home mom with four children.

Drag yourself out of bed. Say a prayer you make it through another day. Yay! Another day!

Kids screaming, brushing teeth, shoving down breakfast, yelling "I do not have this, I do not have that", five minutes before they need to reach their bus stops. I frantically, run around grabbing what I can to help these totally unorganized aliens, oh sorry, children, get out the door in time because I really do not want to have to drive them in. There is a perfectly good way of transportation awaiting them.

Ah kids off to school. That morning project is finished in somewhat of a calm state. Now, the younger set that is still at home. After changing diapers, clothes, and getting breakfast, business needs to be taken care of. Ok, the baby of our house is set. He has had a morning dose of love, hugs, kisses, food, clean clothes, face washed, and now I pray I can get to provide my family with the extra income we need.

Emails. Wow, when you're doing everything yourself you walk into an email program with at least 50 to 100 emails a day waiting for your responses or wasting your time with ads. Better yet a whole network or group is fighting back and forth over the stupidest of topics and they just think you have the time to jump in and fool around. Get real! All the responses done, an hour gone easily. Take a break, play with your child, read stories, play a game, get a snack or drinks, more hugs and love.

Back to the work board. Now, take care of the details of your business, some have it easier than others but again when your working at home alone there is a mountain that can easily be built of "fall behind projects" and details that need to be taken care of. Another hour or two, gone.

Shoot the phone is ringing and it's my Mother in Law. Love her dearly but know, if I pick up that phone another hour will be gone. Better get it in case there is something urgent. Bye, bye hour!

Go back to your child, more love, hugs, kisses, play time, cleanup, lunch, and whatever else you can cram in.

Clean? Oh my, the house is a mess, better run the vacuum, pick up the toys, clean the bathroom, the kitchen, the dishes, laundry etc.... Better get this all done because the parent at home feels so guilty that they are home in the first place. Even though running a business, taking care of children, the house better be neat for the other parent to come home too. Wow, the dust in that corner is big enough to make a small bird's nest. What's one more mouth to feed? It gets hidden by moving the couch and inch over for now. Two more hours gone.

Jump back to business, take care of bills, ordering, more emails! ARGHHHH the never ending emails!! Doesn't anyone have a life anymore? Why are they all on their computers! Oh yea, the same reason I am. Sigh.....

Guess what? Another hour gone and the older ones are walking in the door. But where has the day gone, why do I feel I didn't get anything accomplished? OMG, they want snacks, they need this and that at the Walmart for projects that are due tomorrow!! I turn on super mode. ARGHHH, the baby needs changing and more hugs, got to get to the grocery store, have to buy little Billy down the street a birthday gift, have to make dinner, get more laundry done, feed the dogs, the fish ( they can go a day without food) there is enough in the bottom of the tank from when the baby dumped the whole canister in! Two minutes saved! Yay!

The constant phone calls, the neighbor that wants you to watch their kids because you are home and NOT busy! Ha! Ya, I sit and eat bon bons all day and watch mushy soap operas. I wish I had a soap opera life. At least they have maids and run around in gorgeous clothing with their hair perfect. Hmm wonder if they would like my look? Hair thrown in a ponytail, sweats and t-shirts with stains from the baby or the dogs that decided they were so happy to see you they jumped all over you, covering you in their loving way with dirty paw prints! Ya, sign me up for the next model for Young and the Restless! Ok, business is calling. I need to figure out twenty ways to advertise my whole network for free! Searching in all the places I have not searched. Came up with one! Good job! The network doesn't agree. What do they know?

Kids are fighting in the background over who gets to play which game. Then they fight over the last pudding left! What next? The house is a mess again with all these kids running through and throwing their gear everywhere. Time for family management. In a huff, I start dishing out chores and orders only to get strange looks back. Have I lost my mind that I want them to help me out? Oh yes, aliens, they don't have messy houses or Mothers that look like they might fly off the deep end at any minute. Right, I am the one in a tizzy and no one seems to get it. Baby needs changing again, dinner needs to be cooked, house needs to be cleaned up again and the never ending laundry just grew instead of going down. What is up with that anyhow?

Someone ordered a product, get into my shippers mode. Package it up after finding the packaging tape in the baby's toy box. A half hour spent looking for that sucker. Get on USPS, print my labels, adhered, and set by the door for shipping, schedule the shipment, good to go! Dinner still needs to be made!

More emails, guess what? They lost my whole website! Working on it for weeks and they can't get the files up on the web. Nice! Is it a full moon? They are working on it. I am trying to be patient but in my mind, know that I am losing money every day it is not up and ready to go! People complaining that they are not getting enough business to their business. Ok, note, find fifty more ways to promote the site! Find more businesses to get involved in to make more money so you may offer others pay. Wow! I wonder if they will offer me pay from their businesses when they are successful. It would be nice wouldn't it?

Argh, I have to write new guides to direct everyone on how to do everything in their business. I need to write guides for leadership teams. I need to write articles so people have FREE content to give out on their websites as a courtesy from my site and my passion of helping others.

Shoot! Dinner still needs to be made! Now husband calls! How was your day dear, he asks. In the calmest voice imaginable I say, just fine. Nothing I couldn't handle. Do you think he believed the lie? Do I believe the lie?

50 more invites to networks that I just cannot handle. What's this? Join the love your pet site? Ya, I love my pets but I don't want to sit 15 hours a day and talk about them.
Dinner! The kids are complaining they are starving. They might drop over since they have not eaten since snack time. I am a horrible mother.

I go into the kitchen. Hmm nothing available to make quickly. Order pizza night! Love ordering out. Makes my life so much easier. Then the complaints start because the driver can't find the house and they are over a half hour delivering our food. Damn them, don't they know my kids have not eaten since three hours ago? The nerve!

Back to business, answer more emails; help more people, still searching for new and creative ideas to help my fellow work at home family. I get lost in my thoughts of a sunny beach, refreshing cocktail in hand, and the ocean waves rocking back and forth slowly. Ahhhh, how wonderful that sounds. Then the baby pulls on my shirt, Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, Austin hit me. Wake up, back to reality!

Is it bedtime yet? I don't care if it is the kid's or mine. Someone needs to go to bed!

Baby is screaming, he fell while climbing to get fruit snacks! I jump up and go running worried I will find a head spewing blood all over. Thank goodness he is fine. More love, hugs, comforting.
Hubby will be home any minute! The house is a mess; the kids still don't have their pizza. Did I eat today? Oh yes, I ate the crust off the baby's sandwich!

Dogs are barking they want to come in. Hubby is home and is hungry, the laundry needs changing over, the emails are piling up, the kids need clothes for tomorrow, they need help with their homework, does it ever end?

My mother calls and says, "We never see you!" That is because I don't want to see anyone anymore after days like this, is what is on my mind. Instead, I apologize and try to explain but there is no sense in it. They don't get it.

Kids fed, baby changed, bathed, and pj's are on. Time to relax? HA HA HA HA, no, time to start on business again. Then the hubby comes over and wants some attention. Get in line buddy! Passionate kisses? What are those? The closest I get to them now is a big sloppy kiss from my little one after eating a bowl of ice cream. Time alone, dear? What time? Sure, you have two minutes. Sorry, your time is up!

Fighting starts up a again and I need to get things posted on my site. I do not have time to be a referee! Bedtime! Go to bed every one of you! I love you but enough for one day! Kisses given out, goodnights given and I collapse in my computer chair. Now I can get work done!

It's now 1:30 am......I can't hold my head up any longer. Good night to my world. See you tomorrow when I get to have this successful life start all over again! Lay my head down, smile; I wouldn't trade it for the world. I am queen of my domain.
