Getting Started With an Internet Business - Choose Digital Products That Can Be Downloaded Easily

Getting started with an online business will take some time to set up, but there is no reason to wait when it comes to making money. There are many products that come ready to be sold, and this will give you experience as you 'earn while you learn'. Look for a product that already has a sales letter, is something that will help others to achieve their goals, and that is set up for you to collect the payments quickly and easily.

The reason you want a digital product that already has a sales letter is so you can see exactly how something like this is written. You can study the headline, the sub-headlines, and the copy to see what is appealing to others. As you read through the sales copy you will be able to see what it will teach the person who makes a purchase. I always purchase the product before I begin reselling it. This allows me to make sure it is something that others will find valuable as well.

As soon as you are ready to make sales, it is the marketing that you will need to become more skilled with doing each day as an activity. Marketing makes the difference between being able to sell many products online easily and just getting by.

I encourage you to choose a product quickly so that you can begin. The best products are those that sell for less than a hundred dollars and are digital, allowing for an easy download by the purchaser. Making money in this way is a win-win, and you will gain experience as you move forward.

Get More Sales With the Right Links

Do you want to get more sales on your web site? It is possible, with the right links, and here, we will look at what kind of links that you should get to get more sales!

The first thing to remember is that the SEO you do on your web site is only going to do so much in results.

Results come when you get links. Why?

Links are how the big search engines like Google work.

What they look at is links, and this link must be quality, as quality is a portion of the score, not just numbers.

Quality links can come from a variety of places, but what you also want to do, is to go through and get direct traffic from those links also.

This way, you can be sure to find customers coming through those links.

For example, there are some web sites, in the social bookmarking form that will get you traffic.

This traffic may just be people searching for things. Another method is to go through and have a look at options with the right methods.

These research methods are more trial and error, and measuring results.

But, there are some web sites online where you can put a link, which can benefit your search engine positions, and also bring you direct traffic.

Often getting number 1 on search engines may not bring you sales. For example, if you went through and ranked number 1 for health, but you are a dentist, you would find that it would be a waste, because people are looking for something related but not necessarily what you are looking for.

So, go out there and get links!

The best way to get started with article marketing is to click [http://readithere.us/signup.php]sign up, and get started! Remember the more articles you submit, the more traffic, the more traffic, the more sales! [http://www.readithere.us]www.readithere.us

Channel Partners Versus Affiliates - What Are the Major Differences?

With the proliferation of website affiliates selling digital products, some are wondering what the differences between channel partners and online affiliates are. Could affiliates be taking over majority of sales of digital products? Are they enough competition to cause conflict with the partners? What are in partner profiles that set channels apart from affiliates?

Internet marketing or affiliate marketing, specifically, has been going on for the most part since the inception of the Internet itself. From the beginning, the adult industry was the first to realize the potential for teaming up with affiliate sites to drive traffic to their websites. Eventually, big online retailers like Amazon caught on and joined the band wagon. Affiliate marketers drive customers to company's official site or landing page and earn commission through the sales of the products. Sites like ClickBank are platforms where digital products like software are sold, bought and promoted. Affiliate newbies usually get their products here because registration is free for everyone.

Structure
Channel partners, on the other hand, are companies with physical offices and customer sales support that follow up clients and customer. While a reseller can have their own online store, their target markets are mostly offline customers and clients. There are even VARs or Value Added Resellers that cater to highly specialized markets that would normally need a physical sales meeting to introduce a product.

Selling point
Affiliates are usually individuals who can only sell one product at a time. In fact, in a certain trade marked internet marketing method, the expert suggested that an affiliate find one niche keyword that does not generate much competition and focus on finding a product to promote it to avoid too much competition.

Scope of responsibility and experience
Channel partners deal with big volume of products from a variety of vendors. The VARs, while they deal with lesser volume, sells extremely high-valued products. Their partner profiles will probably be a list of who's-who of software manufacturers and will detail their experience not just in sales but in software integrating and implementing as well. Partners are established companies that do actual selling rather than just promotion.

For big software manufacturing companies, channel partners are the regular distributors of their products but that does not mean that affiliates have nothing to offer to the table. Affiliates, in general, are more open to innovation, they are cheaper to team up with than channel partners and a vendor can have more affiliates.

Resellers, in the meantime, are solid companies that are reliable and more experienced with sales and marketing. They navigate not just the online space but the physical world as well. And they can have relationships with regular and loyal customers unlike affiliates who are confined to their virtual world.

So are affiliates enough competition to drive channel partners out of business? The answer is, of course not. As long as majority of trade is conducted offline, partners will continue to be the reliable distributors of products for vendors. In the question of conflicts, however, vendors have to decide if they want to hire affiliates to promote their products. The conflict will not come from the affiliate, it would be from the vendor itself that actually sells the product. The affiliate just helps customers arrive at the vendor's website.

Buying Websites For Profit - How to Spot a Poorly-Monetized Site

In general, sites usually generate revenue through one of the following methods:

1. Advertising. By either selling links directly to advertisers or using Google AdSense, site owners are able to generate revenue whenever visitors click or view ads.

2. Products. By creating their own products (or hiring someone else to do so), site owners are able to generate revenue from direct product sales (often through PayPal or ClickBank).

3. Affiliate Sales Commissions. By selling products as an affiliate through ClickBank, CommissionJunction, or LinkShare, site owners are able to generate affiliate commissions, which are often paid out on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.

4. Feeding Traffic to Other Sites. Another way in which site owners generate revenue is by taking the traffic from one site and sending it to another in a network that they own. At the second site, they usually close the deal by selling a product or enrolling visitors in a newsletter.

As a prospective site flipper, it is your job to analyze each site you see in order to determine which of these methods it is using to generate revenue. From there, it will be up to you to determine whether or not you could improve the site's monetization by either employing a method not used or by improving upon an existing method.

Here is a list of things to ask each time you see a site that you might purchase:

1. Which of the four types of monetization methods does it use? Does it focus primarily on one type of monetization, rather than the others? I.e. does the site primarily generate revenue from AdSense or from direct sales of a product that it owns? You should be able to find this information, along with supporting documentation at the site auction.

2. Could the site benefit from eliminating one type of monetization and focusing on the others? For instance, if a site generates revenue primarily through direct sales, but includes AdSense ads and other links, could it benefit from eliminating these links that tend to draw visitors away from the site; and instead focusing on increasing the conversion rate of the sales page?

3. Is this site leaving money on the table in obvious ways? For instance, does the site contain a number of links that don't open in a new window or a new tab? If it does, it is needlessly sending away visitors; and this is probably leading to at least small revenue losses.

4. Is the sales letter for the product poorly written? If it is, there's a good chance you could relatively easily and inexpensively double or even triple the revenue that the site generates by paying a copywriter to create a better sales letter.

5. Could the site benefit from a squeeze page? In many cases, sending a reader directly to a sales page will result in much smaller lifetime earnings per visitor than if you send them to a squeeze page that captures their email address and name. The reason for this is that you get the chance to do extensive pre-sales; and then have the opportunity to pitch multiple products to them over the course of months.

6. Can the site benefit from better AdSense ad placement? Even if you don't know the optimal placement, you should be able to infer from the documentation whether the percentage of visitors who click through the ads is low or high.

While the list above doesn't capture everything you need to know about visiting a site and determining how well it is monetized, it does capture many of the important items to look at when purchasing sites.

Overall, the most important question you can ask when purchasing a site is whether it is poorly monetized according to these criteria. If it is poorly monetized, then that's a good sign that you should go ahead with the purchase. On the other hand, if you're having a hard time figuring out how the site could potentially make more money, then it may be best to move on and look for new sites.

Work at Home Opportunities - Sifting Through All the Fakes!

For every thousand work at home opportunities or programs out there, there is only about ten that are legitimate. You probably are like a lot of people and have purchased a few systems that are out there today, and it probably consisted of you pulling out your credit card, receiving a file in your email, reading through the program once, and then last but not least, you realizing you just wasted your money and time. This can become extremely annoying and frustrating, especially when it happens to you more than once. Perseverance is the key. It may sound counter-intuitive, but it is the only thing that is going to make you successful when it comes to working at home.

No matter how many times you have failed or tried a failing system, you have to keep trying. There are legitimate businesses and systems out there today that everyday people use to bring in boat loads of cash from the comfort and freedom of their own home office. It's true there are tons and tons of scams out there, but if you know what to look out for you will find a profitable system in no time.

Sifting through the thousands of worthless programs out there can take you to your breaking point, so if you don't have perseverance and a strong work ethic, then stop reading!

1. The first thing to look out for is a gimmicky sales page. You can usually tell right off the bat just by looking at a sales page whether or not it is a scam. Notice: I said "look" at the sales page, "look" does not mean read! Whatever you do, don't read it while you are looking at it and inspecting it! Sales pages have a tendency of SELLING things to you! Inspect before you read! You should be looking for a contact number or email, the number of pages (should be at least 2), and the overall quality of the website. These three things can help you separate garbage from gold extremely quickly.

2. The second thing that you should look at are the promises made on the sales page. If the sales page promises you that you will make a million dollars next week by working "part time," then I can tell you that it is 100% JUNK. Anyone who promises unreal things like that but is still taking time to make a sales page...obviously isn't making that kind of money themselves. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

It won't be easy finding a program that passes these two tests, but when you do...JUMP on IT because you just may have found one of the rare legitimate work at home opportunities.

6 Ways to Sell All the Landscaping Plants You Can Grow

You'd like your backyard plant nursery to become the profit center of your dreams. You'd like to be selling huge numbers of landscaping plants. So how can you do that? Here are the six best ways to sell all the landscaping plants you can grow:

1. Farmers' markets

These events continue to draw big crowds looking for high quality plants. Set up a booth or stand and get selling! Make up some flyers or business cards about your plant business and pass them out. Set out a mailing list and encourage people who stop by your stand to sign up. Mailing lists are a fun, quick, and easy way to keep in touch with your customers.

2. Craigslist or Backpage.com

There are many ways to advertise your business online, such as Craigslist and Backpage.com. These take a couple minutes and are completely free. Advertise your business, and mention what you have for sale, when and where you're selling it and what your prices are. Try a "loss-leader" such as 4" ground covers for $1.99 each, or buy 2, get one free, to get customers to your nursery, as they will almost always buy other plants at full price when they are there

3. Fundraisers

Fundraisers are a great way to make good money and help others at the same time. People are more than willing to spend money if they know some of it is going to a church, charity or cause that they believe in. It makes your wallet happy, and makes your business look good too. A typical arrangement is to donate 20 to 30 percent of your gross sales for the day to the organization.

4. Sell directly to landscapers

Call up local landscapers and find out what they're looking for. If you can offer them what they need at a competitive price, you could get a lot of business. Put together a list of landscapers and send them flyers regularly with prices and sales information.

5. Pre-sell your plants

If you're plan to wholesale plants, you'll need to begin selling them long before they're mature. Visit local retail nurseries, landscapers and stores to let them know what you have to offer. You could even invite them out to your nursery to take a look. Selling early will improve your business and profits.

6. Garage sales

Maybe your town doesn't allow retail sales out of your backyard. Most towns, however, do allow garage sales. A garage sale is a fun and easy way to sell your plants. Be specific in your ad, so people don't show up looking for the latest Barbie or clothes for infants. Mention what you have for sale and what your hours are.

You want to sell a large number of plants, because after all, you want to turn your plants into profitable plants. Try some, or all, of these six ways, and you can be selling all the landscaping plants you can grow in no time. It shouldn't be too difficult either. Sell directly to landscapers, have a garage sale, pre-sale your plants, place an ad on Craigslist or Backpage.com, partake in a fundraiser or set up a booth at your local farmers' market. Soon your backyard nursery will be the profit center of your dreams. To learn more, read How to Start a Profitable Backyard Plant Nursery, available at: rel=nofollow http://extraincomebulletin.com

Marketing For Newbie Small and Home-Based Business Owners - Once Difficult, Now Easy

The 1-2-3 Power System is a method developed to effectively promote any product, program, multilevel marketing, or service using several unique marketing methods. The system consists of three steps.

Step 1: How To Raise Capital for your Business
Every business needs money to start and grow. Most businesses fail before they start due to lack of money. In addition, to incorporate your business most states have a guideline for a minimal amount of money to capitalize your business to prevent piercing of the corporate veil; which allows a plaintiff to go after the owners' personal money in a lawsuit. Step 1 solves the lack of capital problem. The 1-2-3 Power System will show the entrepreneur how to generate a mailing list with no money and how to turn that mailing list into money to fund their business.

Step 2: How To Use Low Cost Marketing to Start Growing your Business
The small and home based business owner will learn an effective email marketing strategy and fax advertising strategy. Detailed how-to instructions and examples are provided to quickly start marketing. In addition, supplier resources are provided that will make the task easier if you choose to use them.

Step 3: How To Use Direct Mail Marketing and Classified Advertising to Skyrocket your Income Direct mail is big business... 200,000 or more sales letters are mailed monthly from the big players in the industry. Why? Because they make a lot of money when people respond. They have written a marketing piece that people respond too. This step shows how to get people to respond to your direct mail sales letters and classified ads. Once you master this step you will start making a consistent living with little effort.

The 1-2-3 Power System Marketing Course is not a multilevel marketing opportunity. Multilevel marketing defined by Wikipedia; is designed to create a marketing and sales force by paying promoters of company products for sales they personally generate along with the sales of other promoters they introduce to the company, creating a down line of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation. The 1-2-3 Power System does not fit this definition. It is a system developed to promote any business opportunity. An individual that sales the 1-2-3 Power System Marketing Course, is only paid for their direct sales. Not from the sales of others.

The system is great for start up small and home-based business owners that are with out a website or an email account. The system is extremely easy to follow.

How To Profit From the Recession - 3 Ideas For Anyone Looking to Survive This Recession

Contrary to popular opinion, there are still opportunities for Americans to prosper, even in today's tough economy. You no doubt have heard the bad news, well here is some good news- there is no better time to get ahead than RIGHT NOW.

Here are some ideas anyone can use to their advantage-

Idea #1 People are looking for bargains... Give them what they want. The popularity of yard sales, garage sales and flea markets is rebounding, as people look for used items, discount merchandise and recycled material instead of paying for new retail items. This is a perfect time for you to conduct a sale of your own, with your own unwanted items. Even small sales can yield hundreds of dollars in extra income.

If you want to take this to the next level, try going to other sales toward the end of the day and offer to take away anything they don't want or didn't sell. Sometimes, you can get tons of free or very low cost stuff. If you go around and do this at 3 or 4 sales, you can put it all together into one big sale, with all of the profit going back to YOU.

Idea #2 Repair and refurbish. During the recession, repair work increases as people keep items longer. They will also consider spending money on refurbished items more readily than in good times since the price differences can be significant. If you are handy, or have skills in repairing items, you instantly have the ability to cash in on broken items as a repair service, or collecting cast-offs and repairing those items and selling them as refurbished items. This could include furniture, electronics, appliances, computers, cars or anything of value that can be repaired or refurbished. Many quiet millionaires have made their fortunes this way.

Idea #3 Safety and security, now more than ever. Recessionary times result in higher unemployment levels, often pushing crime higher in some areas. Fear is a strong motivator, and if you have the ability to hand out flyers, you can profit by offering home or business security systems like alarms and safety equipment. If you Google "wholesale security systems" or "burglar alarm distributor opportunities" you will find many sources that sell equipment and services wholesale, while you charge retail prices to your customer. Simply create a simple flyer offering a free in-home security analysis and then offer the equipment and service. Many of these companies will even have an installer do the work at no charge! You can make good up-front money and a small residual payment for the monthly service.

These are just a few ideas for you to profit during a recession. There are many more. If you get creative and look around your area, you can find many options to make more money now than ever before.

Home-Based Jobs You Can Start Now

Working from home doesn't have to involve telecommuting or multi-level marketing schemes. If you one of the millions of people who need to work from home, there are options for you. Many companies allow for home-based workers with no conditions on coming into the office. Most of the time, the work isn't salaried, but does offer an exciting commission structure that can be more attractive than traditional jobs.

Law firms are always looking for people to look for leads for them. Most people don't go to attorneys until they absolutely have to, mainly because they fear lawyers are expensive. They can be, but lots of lawyers do sliding-scale work, offer legal insurance, or are involved in the debt resolution industry. A good idea to investigate this realm of employment would be to send emails to law firms asking if they need any appointment-setters, or sales closers. They often let you work from home and will pay you per lead, or per sale.

Many sales companies that sell nationally may be located in an economically blighted area and are in need of remote sales people for their company. If you advertise yourself as a telemarketer through Craigslist, especially in major metropolitan areas, you will often get offers from companies that can use your talents.

There are lots of other companies that are interested in customer service work that you can do from home, but this type of work doesn't pay as well as appointment-setting or direct sales over the phone. Send emails to law firms and sales companies and include a very short resume describing your talents. Your email should be no longer than six lines long. An example could be: Experience phone sales representative seeks home-based work. 555-555-5555, commission preferred, no limit on earnings. This type of email announcement will get you results.

Working from home can be just as profitable as a job in a traditional field, you'll just be working from home on your own schedule, and be available to be with children or others who need you close-at-hand. Look into the options we've reviewed here and you should be able to find work that fits your needs.

3 Types of Web Sites - Which One Should Your Business Have?

When it comes to business, there are basically three types of web sites to choose from. Each one is valuable in its own way and each one is worthless if not properly put to work. Let's see which one you need...

A Sales Site

The purpose of a sales site is to sell. Not sell something later, not build a list, not show how great your company is. It's designed to sell a product or products, on the spot, in the form of an actual transaction.

Sales sites employ a shopping cart at some point in the process. They ask the visitor to buy. Sales sites can be single page sales letters that cleverly pitch an individual product or they can be giant catalogs and categories of products. Amazon.com is a sales site.

The Lead Site

The purpose of the lead site is to simply generate leads. This type of site does not ask the visitor to buy anything; rather it usually offers something to the visitor in exchange for their personal information such as name, email address and maybe even a phone number.

The idea is that the free information offers value to the visitor who is usually seeking such information to solve a problem or advance an agenda. The lead site can be a site that is loaded with multiple pages or posts that are full of targeted information to the visitor. Another option is a simple landing page, also known as a squeeze page that gives a basic and enticing pitch to the visitor to opt in and receive some special information and offers no other content to compete. The basic concept of a squeeze page is to force the visitor to do one of two things: Give up their information to get a solution their problem or get off the page all together and move on.

The Credibility Site

The purpose of a credibility site is to demonstrate how credible your company is to the visitor - imagine that. It should not attempt to sell something, it typically is not very good at gathering leads. The credibility site is to bolster the quality of your companies image and stature in the mind of your visitor.

Many business owners struggle with which site they should choose so they attempt to incorporate all three purposes into one site. There are all sorts of problems that this creates but the most important problem is that it just doesn't work.

It doesn't work... don't try it.

Don't!

Please!

The simplest way to decide on which type of site you need first is to ask yourself: "What is the single goal of this site?" Choose either to sell, to gather leads, or to lend credibility.

Then call your designer and hold his or her feet to the fire to produce the best site to match your goal.

As a short caveat, there is one other type of site your company should consider but it's not truly a site so I've not included it in the short 3 site list. Social media profiles such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and so on. Most companies should make use of such web properties but for very different goals than the 3 listed above. There are also several hybrid models that attempt to meld two of the three site types into one but this author is unimpressed with the effectiveness of such dribble.

Most companies both offline and online will do well to have at least one of all three types of sites and spend the rest of their money driving targeted traffic to those sites.

Just remember, traffic is no different than a site itself. All traffic has purpose so make sure you drive the buyers to a sales site, the information seekers to your lead site, and your "almost closed but need a little nudge" people to your credibility site.
