Alright I'll get right to it. Celebrate your victories!!

If you have had a bad day, bad week or bad month you are probably not celebrating your victories! A little bit of celebration and positivity goes a LONG way! When you are trying to run a business it is easy to be down about profits, sales or leads and everything may not seem like its "enough." Maybe you feel like you could be doing more or you think nothing is working. These feelings are completely normal and they happen to even the most successful top earners.

Celebrating your victories helps you feel and see what your future could look like. If you take those happy memories and feelings from your past and keep them in mind when you are doing your marketing, videos, blogging, affirmations or other daily activities you're energy will be positive J.

It may sound silly but imagine a world where nobody smiled; you probably wouldn't smile either and would carry around a frown around the town. Think of what you do when someone smiles at you, chances are you smile back and you feel a little bit better for a moment. Remember that thoughts lead to actions and the more times you celebrate your victories, the more times you will feel happy and positive, the more times you will think about those victories and the more effort you will put yourself through to achieve more of those victories. Your energy and eagerness for celebration will show in your productivity and work content. Soon, having victories will be normal if you let your thoughts and actions take you there.

This morning my fianc�e and I did our little happy dance celebration because we made another sale. Maybe next time I'll videotape it. It was pretty funny and very silly but we were both happy and have had a very productive day because we are now even more motivated to make more sales, celebrate more and continue the pattern.

Make sure you celebrate everything you can. I don't care if you made $3 or 2 leads! If you don't celebrate the small stuff, you will always focus on "what else you need to do" or "what's not working" and you will get down, be unmotivated and not do or try your best.

Keep it positive, have fun and celebrate your darn victories! The more you think positive the more achievements will come your way.

Use Effective Communication to Build Your Business

How effective you are when communicating with your customers can contribute to the success of your business relationships. The manner in which you communicate often determines how you are perceived by the customer. If the prospective customer has no idea of your true meaning; or if he meets you the person who is not the person that you would wish him to meet, then your chances of successfully obtaining him as a customer are nil.

Here are a few principles of effective communication that have been used in the business strategies of successful entrepreneurs. These are principles that can also easily be incorporated into your everyday life:

1). Choose your words wisely.

Be careful of what words you say and how you say them. For example, if you have an emergency and cannot make it to an appointment, instead of saying, "Mrs. Jones, I'll have to reschedule our appointment". say " I'm so sorry, Mrs. Jones", I was really hoping to get to meet with you. I have so much information to give you, but I have an emergency with my family and I will have to reschedule our appointment". This shows that you really want to meet with her, but you cannot out of dire necessity.

2). Be Positive

Use both a positive body language and a positive attitude. A smile goes a long way. Start by smiling. Even on the phone. The phone customer can hear you smile. It is almost impossible to be negative with a smile on your face. Face the customer with a smile and with no barriers. That is face them, smile and uncross your arms, and don't look away.

A positive attitude will allow you to be the person that the customer wants to see. Don't be the person that the customer wants to avoid. Be the person that is smiling, welcoming and giving a positive attitude.

3). Actively listen.

Become engaged in what the other person is saying. Don't interrupt. Show that you are listening, by saying things like "Yes, I see" and "That's right" or "Right". Paraphrase what the person has just said. This is an excellent way to show that you have heard what the person has said. It shows, not only that you heard, but also that you can interpret their problem correctly.

4). Don't use jargon

When speaking to customers eliminate company or other abbreviations that are not familiar to the customer. For example, don't pepper your talk with jargon such as "When the SORP coincides with the RUSP, we will eliminate the BOTT". These types of terms will make the customer feel inadequate and frustrated. Use words and terms that you're sure the customer understands.

If a technical question arises and an explanation is required, explain in words and situations that are familiar to the customer. To quote the words of Keats, "Think like a wise man, but communicate in the language of the people."

SMILE While You Make Money at Home Online

Everyday we get up and try and decide what we are going to wear to work, don't we? Some of us do, however, take longer than others with this process! But did we know that the expression we wear on our face is actually a lot more important when interacting with people than what clothes we have on?

First impressions are not purely based on what we are wearing. Going back to my previous articles when we were talking about praise and encouragement being much more effective than criticism, a smile is much more effective in communication than a frown.

Smiles can bring you much personal happiness and many dollars in your money making home based business day after day. In the end, what are we all seeking in life? Happiness, isn't that right?

How do we find it? We all think that making a lot of money will ensure happiness. But happiness doesn't depend on external factors. It depends on internal ones. It isn't where you are, who you are with, how much money you have, the type of house you live in etc that will make you truly happy. It is what you think about on a daily basis that will ensure your long term happiness. Really happy people have a different mental attitude than others.

I can remember being on a holiday with my family in Thailand when we visited a local village on one the islands. I remember seeing all of these happy faces amongst the children and adults who were living in third world conditions with no running water, no shoes, none of the facilities we take for granted. It struck me how happy there were to see us and talk to us and play games. They were completely happy and satisfied with how they were living their lives.

A smile is a great gift to others. It is giving your goodwill to them. It not only brightens your day but brightens the day of everyone else who sees and/or hears it!
