We've all seen plenty of articles spelling out t-e-a-m using various inspiration words. While these articles do say something about teamwork, it is sometimes worthwhile to go back to the fundamentals. What is a team? What are the components of a team? There are many definitions of team, but the one that sums it up best from a business perspective can be found at businessdictionary.com:

A team becomes more than just a collection of people when a strong sense of mutual commitment creates synergy, thus generating performance greater than the sum of the performance of its individual members.

The same pieces that make up a team in any business situation become even more important in multilevel marketing. In multilevel marketing, the team is often put together in a very short time and often consists of people that have not worked together before, don't have face-to-face contact, and are not accountable to anyone but themselves. So how do you take this group of people and make it work?

When you want things to change and you need help make sure you have a team you can count on. We all have one. You may have one of your own or several different teams.
