How To Make It Online - It's The Simple, Easy Things That Create Success In Home Business

Having success with an online business is not something that comes easy. It is also something that's not hard to learn. Much of your success will come from the time and effort you put in to make it succeed. It's the little, simple, easy things we do on a daily basis that are the driving force behind it all. These little, simple, easy things are also what can lead to your failure if you're not careful.

Doing things like replying to an email, reading up on leadership development material, or working out for 30 minutes a day are very simple tasks to complete. They are also very easy to do. For some reason, many of us just don't do them or start to do them and then stop. So why that?

It's because they are also things that are simple and easy NOT to do.

The issue is that you're not going to see the consequences of not doing these things immediately. You're not going to gain 35 lbs over night because you missed one day of working out and you're not going to turn into a bad leader because you missed 20 minutes of reading. It's also not going to be the end of the world because you didn't respond to that email right away.

The biggest problem is that if you do miss one day, it is easy to miss again and again. Once you multiply that over a significant amount of time will you then start to see the effects. Your inbox will become cluttered, you'll start to put on the weight you were trying to keep off, and you may not be up to date with the latest leadership trends.

If you were able to see the long term consequences right away, you would have never missed that work out and you would have sent that email reply.

All of this easily applies to what we do on a day to day basis with our business and its marketing. Sending those emails, updating that PPC campaign, and posting those tweets on Twitter are easy tasks to complete however, they can easily be over looked. It's the number of small things we do on a day to day basis that really make the difference. Setting and forgetting doesn't work here. You need to be consistently learning and improving the small things each and every day.

If you ask a top producer what the biggest thing they did to become successful was, they are not going to have an answer for you. They are going to tell you it was the result of many simple easy things they did every day that worked together to build their success.

As an example we can take a step back to our childhood. When I was a kid I used to love swinging as high as I could on the swing set at the park. I couldn't get as high as I wanted with just one pump on the seat. Though swinging on the swing set was a very easy and simple thing to do, I had to start out slow and eventually build enough momentum to get me as high as I wanted to go. It was a collection of those small, easy pumps that lead me to my unstoppable momentum and success with my swing height. Also, once I got high enough it was easier to stay at that high with very little force.

Overlooking the small simple steps will eventually lead to big consequences. This is very easy to forget because they don't happen right away. Next time you're thinking about skipping an important daily step, think about the future impact to your business. It's those small, simple, easy steps we take for granted that will have the biggest combined success later on. Compose a plan and stick to it. Your success is riding on it.

How To Start a Home-Based Internet Business in Under an Hour

As the 20th century came to a close, a lot of people were worried about the Y2K bug and the end of the world. I, on the other hand, was mostly worried about how I was going to meet my goal of becoming a millionaire before I turned 30. So I got to work building my very first web-based business. Turns out it was a lot harder than you might think! It took me months to get everything set up properly.

Well, those days are long gone. It's the 21st century now, and while we aren't quite at the stage of simply telling a computer, "Build me a successful online business," and POOF, there it is, we are pretty darn close. With an abundance of free tools at your disposal, starting an online business is easier than you might imagine.

Having started a few online businesses myself, I can attest to its ease. In just a few steps, you too could be owner and operator of your very own internet-based business. Let's take a look at the first major steps shall we?

A traditional business requires a storefront. On the internet, your storefront is virtual and takes the form of a website. When I first started, this was no easy task. It required quite a bit of technical knowledge and lots of money to pay for high-speed access to the web. These days, companies exist whose sole purpose is to give you a presence on the web. These companies are called webhosts and you can get very reliable webhosting for just a few dollars per month. Most even offer free access to the powerful tools you'll need to complete your virtual store.

Once you're set up with a webhost and have your website open to the World Wide Web, it's time to pretty it up. Don't know Photoshop or HTML? No problem! A good webhost can automatically install a content management system (CMS) that will allow you to create a professional-looking website with the same ease that a word processor provides.

Once that is done, it's time to fill your website with content and other media. Because a CMS works very similar to a word processor, all you have to do is tell it what content you want and where you want it. The CMS does all the heavy lifting for you and makes it happen. You'll look like a professional web programmer and designer, even if you have never program a single line of code in your life!

From here, you want to monetize your site (i.e. start making money), There are a couple ways to do this. Selling advertising space is one way to go, or you can go the more traditional route of selling stuff. Whether that "stuff" is information, ebooks, or actual physical products is entirely up to you. But whatever you choose to sell, you'll need a way to accept payment from your customers. Once again, a good webhost will come to the rescue with full integration of a variety of payment systems. In most cases, a few clicks of your mouse should be all it takes to get set up to accept credit cards, echecks and more.

If you're selling physical products, look for a wholesaler that can provide you with a data feed of their inventory. By uploading their data feed to your webhost, you can automatically populate your webstore's virtual shelves with as many hot items as you wish. Just be sure to check with your webhost to ensure that they have the technology to accept such a data feed. If they don't, find one that does. Any self-respecting webhost will.

And that's the end. Wait, what? Yep, it really is that easy! In fact, 60 minutes is truly a conservative estimate. But now you've got to get customers to your virtual door. And that's a whole other article. In the meantime, enjoy your shiny new business!

How To Rescue Your Phone When Damaged By Water

With cell phones becoming a vital element of our lives, people often fear them getting damaged. This fear is not just regarding cell phones but all gadgets that you carry along. For instance, getting an iPhone screen repair or iPod screen repair is certainly a difficult task. Moreover, the scenario gets worse when your cell phone gets wet. But still it is not the end of the world. You can rescue your phone when you act quickly.

This will prevent your handset from getting any further damage. It also depends on the amount of water that is splashed on your phone or there is a possibility of dropping it in a puddle. No matter what the reason was, the first thing you need to do is remove the battery and don't keep it back until you are done with all phases of cell phone rescue.

In case of a non-removable battery, switch it off completely. After that, try drying it out. The best way to do this is to bury your phone in a pack of silica gel. They are easily available as packaged material alongside some electronic devices. In case, you can't get your hands on silica gel beads, you can try another method.

Burying your phone in some bowl containing rice is another option you can try. But see to it that the phone is completely submerged in it. The technique, as it may be clear by now, is meant to remove moisture. The big question is how long it must be kept in the bowl for removal of water completely. Though the time period varies according to the amount of wetness, you can keep it there for 24 hours for best results.

If you think the dampness is sufficiently gone, you can replace the battery back in its place. When you see any trace of water at all, just pull out the battery and keep the phone in rice until the moisture is completely gone.

This is not an ultimate solution but certainly gives you one last chance to save your precious phone and with it the important data that you cannot bear to lose.

According to some people even a hair dryer can be used to blow dry your handset. This can actually be damaging to some essential circuits of your delicate handset. As you all know, damaging a circuit can get beyond repair, so it is the last thing you ever want to do.

Even after all these tips, rescuing a phone is not easy. The best approach is to be careful in the first place to prevent any such damage. Next up is to go for any of the above mentioned methods to save your phone. The key point here is to remain calm so that you can use the resources up to your maximum potentials. Apparently, most of the times, damage due to water is beyond repair if dampness successfully reaches the internal circuitry. If this is not the case, you still have a chance.

Stewart Wrighter thinks that the [http://www.missionrepair.com/]ipod screen repair services on the internet are a good thing. He recently ordered [http://www.missionrepair.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=307]iphone screen repair services on the internet.

Home Business Tips - Are You Waiting For An Invitation?

You hear it all the time. "I want to start a home business but..." and then all the excuses come.

"I don't know what to do."

"I'm afraid I'll fail."

And on, and on, and on. I can wallpaper my whole house with all the excuses there are for NOT getting started with your home business. So I have to ask...what are you waiting for, an invitation? You're not going to get one. If you think the people out there who are already running a successful home business want YOUR competition, you're CRAZY. They would just assume you sat on your hands for the rest of your life and did NOTHING.

Okay, so what I'm going to attempt to do in this article (don't know if I'll succeed) is get you off your rear end and make you realize that nobody is going to hand you an invitation and that you have NOTHING to lose by giving it your best shot.

Let me start by asking you a few questions. For starters, do you have something better to do with your time? If so, then do it and forget about this home business nonsense. But if you're coming home from a hard day of work, or worse, you're laid off and are bored stiff with nothing to do, what's the worst that could happen if you start up your business and it falls flat on its face?

You've spent some time trying to make money and it didn't work. So what? Is it the end of the world? It's not like you had anything better to do, unless you just want to sit around all day playing video games like I do. Don't worry, I earned that right. At this stage of the game, it's a no lose proposition. You learn something new and you JUST might make some money at it.

Next question. What exactly IS it that you're afraid of? Failure? You mean to tell me that everything you've ever done in your life you got right the VERY first time? When you learned how to walk, didn't you fall a lot at the beginning? When you learned how to ride your first two-wheeler without training wheels, didn't you fall down...a lot? I know I did. So what is it about failing, temporarily, that scares you now? It's not like you have to invest a lot of money into your business to start. Heck, you can start a home business at NO COST.

Finally, don't you want to do something that you can REALLY be proud of IF it succeeds? My business is my proudest accomplishment in a life that, quite honestly, has been riddled with failure. If anyone had a reason to be afraid to do this, I did. Everything I touched turned to mud.

So get out of your head and start to work on your home business. If you need a plan, you'll find an excellent one at NO COST in my signature. It WILL get you started and it WILL help make you a success.

Don't let your fears stand in the way, because NOBODY is going to give you an invitation.

To YOUR Success,

Steven Wagenheim

Why I Set Up My Own Virtual PA Business

After 8 years working as PA to the Chairman and Head of Finance & Administration for a finance broker, the company went into liquidation and I was made redundant. I can honestly say that I loved that job and the people I worked with and I was devastated when it happened.

The financial effects of the redundancy were difficult, but manageable short-term. However, what I totally under-estimated was the emotional effect it was to have on me.

I automatically set about looking for another job but after so many years with one company, I had carved out a role for myself which simply did not exist in other companies. I also discovered that I had no desire to work for anyone else. I had become cynical about being an employee, something which I had never experienced before myself and had always found frustrating in others.

Whilst I had confidence in my abilities and skills, I came up with all sorts of reasons why positions would not suit me. I had not, however, lost the enthusiasm to work and to be productive, so I began to look into the possibility of starting my own business.

It seemed an obvious decision to stay within my area of expertise and knowledge and so I became a Virtual PA. I can still benefit from a workload which is hugely varied and incorporates all my skills but I am my own boss.

Two of the major benefits I now enjoy are working in different industries and with different people. One of the key aspects of a good PA is the working relationship with their manager which, as an employed PA, gradually builds up over time. As a Virtual PA it is an aspect which I certainly concentrate on, in order to foster that relationship despite working remotely. It is fascinating to see how my style changes from client to client dependent upon their own style, preferred working methods and approach etc.

I also find that my skills are kept far more up to date as I always ensure that I am researching the most suitable technology, software, working practices etc. Plus my client's projects are so wide ranging that I am constantly using different skills which might not necessarily be the case when working for one employer.

I would not recommend redundancy to anyone, but with hindsight it was not the end of the world - just the start of Minsway Virtual PA.

Tips to Help You Juggle Homeschooling and Working From Home

Homeschooling or working from home could each easily be a full time job. So how can you successfully juggle both? Is it even possible? Yes! There are many moms who homeschool their children successfully while building a business. Over the years I've learned a few things that have helped me succeed and stay sane.

First, keep things in perspective.

Juggling homeschooling and working from home IS a challenge and it won't always be easy, but it can be done!

Second, have a plan.

You need to create a schedule for your family that blocks out hours of time for school and hours of time for working. It doesn't have to a down to the minute type schedule, but you need something that helps ensure everything that needs completed gets done each day.

Third, know your priorities and goals.

Some things you can let slide a day or two. It's not the end of the world if Mount Laundry piles up for a day. What's more important?

You don't have to have a home cooked dinner 31 nights of the month. An occasional pizza delivery is okay if it means you had the extra time you needed to finish that math lesson with your grade-schooler or get an urgent project completed for a client.

Keep the bigger picture in mind of which goals are the most important and things will be easier.

Fourth, make smart choices.

Have systems and plans for keeping your household together. If you plan your menu in advance, there's no scrambling through the "What's for Dinner?" routine. Use a crock pot and make dinner even easier.

You need to choose a business model that will allow you to outsource and leverage your time. Take steps to move your business in a direction that allows you to do this. Automate and systemize as much as you can.

For schooling, choose your curriculum based on your child's learning style and your family's needs. It's okay to take into consideration how much time the lessons will involve. Some homeschooling options require hours of preparation while others are "open and go" style and will still teach your children what they need to know (and help save your sanity). Consider unit studies, curriculum that allows your children to share lessons, and other options. Ask other homeschooling moms what's working for them and why, how much time they're spending to prepare and present lessons, and most importantly whether the kids are picking up the lessons and enjoying their learning. When you find the right curriculum and approach your kids can learn more in 30 minutes than they can in hours of the wrong curriculum and approach. More time doesn't necessarily equal a better education. It's a smarter approach and strategy that leads to a better education. Be flexible and make adjustments as you go.

Fifth, accept that you don't have to do it all yourself.

It's okay to ask for help from your husband or children with the housework, or hire a house cleaner to come in a few times a week. Hire a competent virtual assistant to help you in your business.

And don't overlook the options to make homeschooling easier and share some of the responsibility -- computerized math, DVD art or music lessons, group learning, private tutors and homeschool co-ops are just some of the ways you can give your kids a great education and free up some of your time.

And now, let me give you access to some great free resources for small businesses including 101 Free/Cheap Ways to Market Your Business, 119 Things You Can Outsource, and more at http://www.michelleshaeffer.com

Michelle Shaeffer has been a work at home mom for more than 10 years and loves to share the tips and strategies she's learned to help other home based business owners balance, manage, and market their businesses.

Home Business Tips - Stop Thinking and Start Doing

Paralysis by analysis is what I call it. It's a problem that many people trying to start a home business have. Are you one of them? Are you sitting there in front of your computer with a spreadsheet trying to figure out what you're going to do first or next? Are you stuck in neutral? If you are, you might want to read this article. It may just be the only way to finally get you off the pot.

I'm going to give you a little exercise to do and then, after I give it to you, I'm going to explain to you why I've given it to you. Are we cool with that? Great...here is what I want you to do. I want you to close your eyes and pretend that in 30 days you are going to be tossed out on the street. You won't be able to pay your rent, your utilities, or even buy food. You will be totally destitute 30 days from now.

How does it feel? It's a scary thought, isn't it? I know that if I knew that I was going to be destitute in 30 days, I'd probably be having a heart attack right about now. But if you're any kind of a rational human being, unless you have ice water for blood, that thought is going to make you FINALLY do something...take action. That's right. Faced with the worst, you're going to get off that pot and FINALLY do something. You won't even care what it is. You'll grasp at any straw to try to make a buck.

Sometimes, we need that kind of kick in the rear in order to get something going. That's what I needed when I lost my last corporate America job at the end of 1999. I was faced with being homeless. I had no choice but to find some way to make a living. It was the scariest time of my life. I never want to go back to those days again. Fortunately, having built a solid business, I don't have to worry about that.

But the truth is, if I was still working, or didn't need the money, I might have thought about starting a home business, but I probably would have never taken action. I didn't have to. Sometimes you have to make it like it's the end of the world in order to get yourself to do something.

So today, not tomorrow, but today...I want you to actually DO something for your home business. I want you to stop thinking and do something...anything. Even if it's just something as simple as buying a domain and getting web hosting. Stop staring at a piece of paper with some well intentioned plans and start putting them into operation.

You'll thank me tomorrow.

To YOUR Success,

Steven Wagenheim

Australian Rule Book to Avoid the NFL

What is the NFL?

There is a popular phrase in networking marketing known as the NFL. This simply means "No Friends Left". A lot of people that get into Network Marketing discover after some time that their business stops growing. They become frustrated and disenchanted.

Avoid becoming a Member at all costs!

Don't destroy friendships in the quest to build a business. Network marketing is really just a referral based business, where you refer a product and opportunity to your friends because you believe that the product and the business opportunity could be of interest to them.

Remember though, not everyone will succeed in business. 2 people given the same opportunity will produce 2 different outcomes.

Do not hard sell the product to your friends, show them the product, explain to them why you like the product and why it works for you. Offer them a sample of the product to try for themselves. If they are then genuinely interested in the product, then invite them to join.

The key is to make sure that they are making the decision to join the business with their eyes wide open and not because you are telling them it will make them a millionaire.

For a tactic like this to be successful, you need a product that will sell itself. It must be a compelling product. It must be a product that can be trusted. It must be obvious to you and to them that this really is a genuine business opportunity.

You've been in Network Marketing before and now have NFL membership

This is not a great feeling I bet. But it is also not the end of the world for you. Modern day network marketing allows you to reach people outside your personal circles. Rather than using the old sales and marketing techniques of interruption marketing that our parents learnt, check out the new and exciting opportunities permission marketing affords you, especially thanks to the Internet.

A great book that you must read is Seth Godin's 'Permission Marketing'. By employing the strategies outlined in this book, you can build a serious business because you are enlarging your circles of influence.

Internet Leads Done Right

Internet leads are a great source for expanding your circles of influence. Provided it is done right! Based on the principles of Permission Marketing, you should seek out people that are interested in what you have to say, tell them about what you can offer them, and then ask them for permission for you to contact them.

Imagine calling a lead who has asked you to call them. They are easy to deal with, they are already engaged, they know what you are wanting them to do from the start of the conversation. This beats cold calling hands down!

Internet Leads are not all created equal unfortunately. A lot of leads are generated through misleading and dubios techniques, for example:

Generic lead generation sites e.g. Get Rich Quick We Show you How.
Pre-checked Check boxes designed to trick you into agreeing to something.
Check boxes with limited information about what they are for.
Leads generated for one purpose and then resold to people wanting to use them for another purpose.

Before you buy any leads from anybody, always ask them how the leads were generated, how old they are, have they been given to anybody else. Leads do not automatically mean permission marketing. Be careful!

Get out of the NFL the Easy Way

Start a Business without burning your friends again? I have setup a business idea that I truly believe in. The product is very good. So good in fact we offer you a free trial to see for yourself. We believe strongly enough in the product, and more importantly in the ethical approach of permission marketing, that we have bundled the product together with proper training in working with Internet leads, and 10 leads to get the business kicked off. You don't have to approach your friends, you can talk to people that are asking to be contacted about the product.

My business idea is called Max Business in a Box.

If your interested check us out.

We have a growing number of labor forces that has grown pessimistic about the possibility of finding a new job after being affected by company retrenchment and down-sizing. While it is true that there are not many job opportunities today, it is not the end of the world. They say that when one door closes a window will open and it is very true. There are not many opportunities in traditional jobs, but if you are open minded and you are not afraid to try a new career option you can still earn money, pay your bills on time and be financial independent. What makes the job popular is it can be done by even ordinary people like stay-at-home mothers and high school graduates. No need for highly specialized skills and experience in secretarial work. Information Overload - Not Your Problem

Twenty years ago there was no World Wide Web. No DVD, no satellite TV, no mobile phones,no PDA's, no TiVos, no Ipods, no digital cameras, no PlayStation, no wii, no blogs...

As of March 2010 the world wide web has 20 billion web pages (and change, lots of change). The population of the planet (this planet) is approx 6.8 billion, estimated to reach 9 billion by 2040 or 50.That a lot of...us.

Then there is Kurzweil and The Singularity. It refers to the future point at which technological change, propelled by the explosive growth of artificial intelligence, will accelerate past the point of current human comprehension. Now that's comforting - past the point of human comprehension! In 2011 Frank Kern releases his 'Ultimate Fighting - MoneyControl Course ' for $250,000, with a $300,000 money back guarantee. It sells out before its created. Within two months there are 453 million money control courses on the internet, all seeming to come from a guy called Matt.

And of course in 2050 Google takes over the world. But much more important, our credit card bills are climbing at rates they don't even have scales for yet. And then there's Global warming, or not. Or Climate change, because its getting warmer, or colder.

The financial collapse that threatens capitalism. Or not. That will only happen once in our lifetimes. Or not. And the earthquakes, why are there so many earthquakes? And the tidal waves and the weird storms and quantum physics and that Super Duper Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland that can produce the end of the world at the touch of a switch. Or cant even turn on. And then there's cat juggling...

(sorry I just threw that in for no reason)

All that...noise, and people and information and duplication and out of control science and - Unless the world ends (via @Mayans) December 21st 2012.

The question is what are YOU going to do about it? How can you cope. Here's a thought. Ignore it. Information is just facts, non facts and opinions about things that exist around us. Or stuff they completely made up (which we can ignore)

If it is facts about things that exist around us, then that is something that has always been there (as in NOT NEW), now there's just a lot of people, and computers, producing words about them.

Nothing NEW has happened (in most cases) just a lot of new voices. (see that sentence is a repeat of the information in the previous statement. Its just there for the hard of hearing) Look at the Internet business - just to pick something crazy at random.

You make money online only ONE way - by selling something to a customer. In fact that's how business have always been. Always. Yes the Internet is a new medium and has to be approached differently. But not new. Frank Kern for instance says the Internet allows us for the first time to directly interact with thousands of people (The List) as though they were one individual. As if it were, in fact, a one to one sales call. As if it were a sales made through relationship building.

Well nothing new there. Basic selling.

Now online (typically) you create or have created a digital product (ebook, DVD,Video, audio) about something in a market that people want. Large or small. An then buy or get traffic (PPC, Joint Venture) and offer that traffic something they want.

So there are thousand, hundred of thousands of programs and offers and course on line to help you with that. But despite all the secrets and ninja tricks and undisclosed magical mystery - its all the same. Because you only do it one way. (yes there are nuances, but unless you are an information hound - forget the nuances)

Pick one you like and seems trustworthy. Go with that till you make money, then think about it. Where do you want to go next. That is the key - where do YOU want to go next (not what shiny info object catches you attention) what do you want?

Another example Eban Pagan teaches Master Classes on the psychology behind selling and money. Great stuff. It is. But its what Brain Tracys teaches. Its what Jim Rohn and Bob Proctor and Napoleon Hill taught. It what the master Earl Nightingale taught. And they got their information from...someone.Its not new. Its applied new.

Ok.

So. Here's how you stay sane and alive in this world of noise. Focus on what you want. And go get that.Pay attention to what you want. That is all you need. Nothing else is important to you. The rest is noise. And eventually you get used to noise and only filter in the important stuff. To you.

As you learn and change your wants change. Great then its time to focus on that.

Hers the great thing nowadays - no matter what it is, there's information out there waiting for you. When your ready.

Focus on whats important. To You.Whether its a peaceful relaxing life, a rich life, an exploring life, a relationship, your kids, whatever it might be. At this point in time.

Focus on it. Because that is you. And that is all you need.

Leave the other glittering shiny objects alone - they do nothing for you, they are distractions. Noise. Talk. Just talk. Information for the sake of information for the sake of information for the sake of information
