Google Apps Reviews

Google has been slowly rolling out their GoogleApps infrastructure for a couple of years now, and has finally reached a stage where it is all coming together. With the launch of their GoogleApps marketplace it seems like it has all come together to allow real third party solutions to any kind of potential problem faced by small to medium sized businesses.

If you are unfamiliar with what Google Apps is exactly, then, from the wikipedia entry on it: Google Apps is a service from Google providing independently customizable versions of several Google products under a custom domain name. It features several Web applications with similar functionality to traditional office suites, including: Gmail, Google Groups, Google Calendar, Talk, Docs and Sites.

The Standard Edition is free and offers the same amount of storage as regular Gmail accounts. The Premier Edition, which offers additional e-mail storage, is available for an annual fee. The Education Edition, which is free, combines features from the Standard and Premier editions.

The Marketplace has created a place for third party companies to create apps (just like your iPhone and Android apps) which can be plugged in to the core Google Apps items - Gmail, Docs etc. The potential power of this setup could be incredible. You will be able to set up your business using a single centralised cloud system of apps, all of which communicate with one another and allow you to keep everything well organised. Your accounts working with your calender working with your analytics working with your customer management....

As with all new marketplaces though, it is difficult to find the best applications to meet your needs. Not only because your needs are specific to your business, but also because every company wants you to believe that their piece of software is the best for their market. That is where you need an independent body reviewing the software available and offering feedback, opinions and insights in to which application is the best, and why.

Google Apps has a simple user rating system built in to it, which serves this function to some extent, but the best example of an independent review service is surely rel=nofollow [http://www.googleappsreview.com/]Google Apps Review. They provide a ranking of the best apps based on category, going in to much more detail than the default GoogleApps system. They also provide recommended bundles of apps for specific business structures.

If you are already a GoogleApps user, or are considering becoming one, you really need to use [http://www.googleappsreview.com/]GoogleAppsReview.com as your primary tool in selecting your applications.

Online Information Explored

Online information is usually looked upon with skepticism. Due to the nature of the platform, it is as easy to post online news about something highly technical as it is for someone to post a flier in a coffee shop round the corner of your house. A lot of bloggers post information in niche segments explaining how to do something really technical in that field but this information is usually derived from other material online and in most cases gets degraded due to derivation. Most writers writing online information are not experts from the area that they write about. Online news is mostly sourced from articles already available online or from database and encyclopedias like Wikipedia. This makes it very important for a user to be aware of the reliability of the source of online information he is depending upon.

Websites like Google is a credible source to search for online information but it is not an authority that can be depended upon. Google and other search engines merely search for information on the web and display the results for you to begin your research. Once you have fine tuned your search results, you should start looking into the credibility of the source of the information. Never rely upon someone quoting someone else, as a rule all reporters will report their source of their story and if you have to write on it, always research the source instead of stories derived from it. Even while you quote a piece of online information in a paper you are required to quote its source, it is the originating source you are expected to quote in your foot note. Derivative works in any form of art do not carry weight and the same rule applies for online news.

Online news is mostly available for free, however, for those who need a credible source to quote in research material paid and professionally verified information is also available online. While it is extremely difficult to verify the source of all the information you come across the web in blogs and other sites, you do not have to worry about the same when you are paying for the information. A lot of people offer free online news covering the basic and set a price for more specific online information. Remember, always verify the source of your online news before you rely on it.

What Is Andy Willoughby's 3-Step Plan and How Does The 3-Step Plan Work?

You may have heard Andy Willoughby's folksy radio advertisements and wondered how the 3-step plan works and what the 3-step plan is all about. The plan is about marketing a nutritional juice product. This may be a good thing for you to consider, or you may want to run the other direction, depending upon how you view the information revealed here.

What Is Andy Willoughby's 3-Step Plan?

You have already been introduced to the most vital part--the radio promotions. These ads are paid by members of the plan who share promotional expenses in an advertising co-op arrangement as a marketing funnel for XanGo juice products. The 25 ounce bottles contain mangosteen fruit (completely different from mango), mixed with eight other juice concentrates including raspberry, cranberry and cherry, (plus sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate) to give a unique and captivating flavor originally discovered by the founder in Asia.

How Does the 3-Step Plan Work and Will It Work For You?

XanGo, LLC was founded in 2002 in Utah, USA and is now in 36 countries with one million distributors, although Wikipedia estimates 70 per cent simply use their distributorship to buy at a discount.

The initial membership fee is $35 so this is affordable for an average person, expanding the marketing appeal. A four bottle case at $100 per month is the minimum required purchase and the profit is $15 per bottle.

There is a unilevel pay plan with a 5% bonus on your down line group volume. Because the product is a consumable, a continuing residual income is created. Members like the idea of receiving interested radio leads. The 3-Step Plan provides recorded sales presentations and live Webinars to help you with the sales process. The cost of marketing and promotional materials is extra.

Dr. Ralph W. Moss, author of eleven books on antioxidants and herbs against cancer questions the value of the health claims and price of the product, while many distributors over a number of years seem to profit from them.

As with all multilevel marketing programs, the best profits are captured by those who develop a large group of distributors, so you might want to supplement the radio leads with additional marketing online, to expand your reach and income. How The Internet Affects Our Daily Life

The advent of technology did not only lull us with dramatic improvements and changes to our existence but also empowered us humans to accomplish the tasks that centuries ago were deemed impossible. Today, the impossible has now become possible and the unrealistic has become achievable. The internet for example, which is a product of man's ingenuity in search for betterment of living, has paved way for immense changes and developments especially in matters that concern time, space, energy and money.

Paying bills through the internet using credit cards has become easier and more convenient as one can accomplish such transactions within the confines of one's homes. Booking tickets and making hotel reservations has basically become a personal task such that travel agents' shortcomings in booking dates, for example, in undertaking such tasks are immensely avoided. Inquiring for billing charges for telephones, credit cards, internet connection and the likes can be done through the internet to and from all points of the continent, after accomplishing routine security checks and confirmation of the validity and authenticity of the information and of the person doing the queries.

The internet has offered a vast and unlimited form of entertainment from whatever aspect that one can ever imagine. The television, which helped create traditions and was imbibed into our culture has rivaled with today's computers as watching movies directly from the internet is already possible. Countless computer games have held the young and not-so-young generations spellbound and fascinated by its alluring entertainment. Nonetheless, gamers are hooked like drug addicts, unable to function normally in its absence.

Of course, who can ever neglect the numerous household tips and free cooking lessons that the internet offers for free? Being the portal of bottomless information, even the insufficiently lettered person who knows how to basically navigate the computer profits hugely from such technology through Wikipedia and Google, to mention a few.

The internet has emerged as one of the most important medium in getting connected with acquaintances and reconnecting with people who have lost contact with each other. Social networks such as Facebook, Friendster and the sort formed and developed social connections. Skype and Yahoo on the other hand paved way for a whole new dimension of communication as people separated by a thousand miles and divided by a number of seas can have a casual conversation as if they were in one room seated a few feet apart engaged in an engrossing conversation.

Indeed, computers, particularly the internet so far, is the most effective catalyst for change. Although it has also brought a string of life-changing experiences, it has also brought along a powerful nemesis - the invasion to privacy.

They say that knowledge is power and so does owning a set of computer and its accessories that will put the world in your hands such as [http://www.megamacs.com/]mobile me family pack. Do not let yourself be at the tail for the run to the race to knowledge as a [http://www.megamacs.com/]filemaker pro 10 will definitely make the world revolve around you and your gadgets.

The Power That Is Called the Internet

Among the innumerable changes that mankind is encountering today, globalization is the most powerful catalyst that brought its domino effect to the world. It has not only paved way for more inventions and discoveries but has also enriched our culture as humans. With the invention of computers and the internet, life's race has become tougher and the pacing has become faster where the fastest gets the meatiest part of the win when the portal of knowledge was opened to the world.

The invention of computers, its accessories, the internet and its related services was not a product of a single brilliant mind alone but a product of a number of ingenuities tested and developed by time and perfected by evolution. The first computer was invented by Charles Babbage in 1882 while Ada Lovelace was the first programmer. From then on, perfecting its features and functions became a race until prominent names such as Ted Hoff, V. Cerf, Tim Berner Lee as well as Robert Cailliau, Bill Gates, Paul Allen, Jimmy Wales, Mark Zuckerberg and among others' names were only a few that shaped our history and future.

Being the portal of information, computers and the internet paved way for immense information that its vastness is unfathomable and inconceivable. Educational institutions, especially students benefited the most from this ingenuity as they are given a wide source of information in one click of the mouse. Doing research work has never become easier, faster and more convenient with the use of online information portals such as the Wikipedia, Google, MSN and among others provide unlimited source of information and alternatives.

If Bell Telephone Company took pride in their selves for inventing the telephone where a person can talk to another at the end of another line, sending information, research works and any other form of communication in an unlimited amount has never become faster through electronic mails or emails to and from all over the continents of the world. Social networks such as the Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and the sort are famous for creating connections to and from people all over the four corners of the world.

The magnitude as to how mankind benefit from the internet is like staring into the vastness of the open and distant skies seeing as far as our eyes are able to see. The downside of it is that, having an unlimited source of information, sometimes harbors danger, thus it is our social responsibility to safeguard each others' privacy and exercise self-restrain to keep ourselves within the realms of reality and responsible education.

Do not be left singled-out and uninformed when you can have all the knowledge that you can have in a snap of a finger by having your own [http://www.megamacs.com/]file maker 10 that will transport you a whole new world. Just as they say that knowledge is power, then it is high time that you gain your own power through a [http://www.megamacs.com/]snow leopard mac box set that will bring you to the world of unlimited information.

Increasing Importance of Social Media Over the Years

Social Media is accelerating with a greater speed. We have seen an exponential growth in online media in 2010. Companies are investing in this form of media as it enables direct ecommerce.
In 2010, online networks highlighted the importance of social applications, programs, platforms, and features that drive revenue and ROI.
Nielsen Global has come out with some numbers on SM adoption.
Here are some of the latest numbers on this Space:

74% of the world's Internet population visit a social networking/blogging site
Social Media site visits average almost 6 hours monthly
3 of the 7 biggest brands online globally are social media: Facebook, Wikipedia and YouTube
Facebook has crossed 500 million subscriber marks a couple of weeks back. This is more than the entire population of North America.
Facebook has server with 175 billion display Ads, more than any other platform in the world!

Twitter also has started rolling out some quantitative easing features like promoted tweets but they haven't really come in with the hard sell just yet like Facebook.
It is important to produce content that enriches the user's online experience rather than just bombarding them with heavy messages. Thus, brands and businesses have started focussing in the indulgence of the customers as well.
Nowadays, Social Media is not restricted to chatting, making friends online, etc. It has diversified in many ways. Brands and businesses have understood the importance of social media and thus they have strategies for marketing the product online.
Don't use Social Media as a channel, think and act on media and marketing as social.

What Is Formspring and Our Review on This Social Media Platform

Until a few days ago I had never heard of Formspring but when asked about it, decided to look into it for you, our readers.

According to Wikipedia, this website was established in 2009 for the purpose of asking questions and giving answers in a member's profile. Questions can be asked anonymously and the person, of whom the question is being asked, has the choice to answer the question or not. Both the questions and the answers then are posted to the profile page of the user.

The service does allow the user to edit settings so if they don't want to permit anonymous questions they can disallow them.

They also allow the capability of linking their Formspring account to their other social networking sites like Facebook, Blogger and Twitter.

Formspring Pros

Ability to ask questions
Post comments
Promotes communication

Formspring Cons

Questions can already be asked in social networking sites. Why is another site necessary for this?
One more place where the users' personal information is available on the Internet.
Questions can be asked anonymously. This is scary as it opens the doors for cyberbullies.
The site is used mostly by teenagers who are very susceptible to harassment and bullies. Those with low self esteem and/or confidence can take a real hit at sites like these.

Some users openly admit that they like this platform specifically because they don't have to identify themselves when asking a question. (We had another term for kids like this before the Internet & social media!) They can and do leave hurtful and derogatory comments for this very reason. They totally understand that the user would be clueless as to who wrote it, so they can get away with anything.

Although to reiterate, the people who use Formspring don't have to answer the questions or post them on their profile. Alas, the damage is already done. By their very nature, many young adults are not mature enough to handle these derogatory and demeaning comments.

Since its inception, one suicide of a 17 year old female was linked to Formspring due to the hurtful messages that were posted.

Exposing young adults to social media platforms that allow written cruelty has gone way past "pushing the envelope." This is worse then being picked on in school because these taunts are there for the world to see and the damage can be catastrophic. Be aware of the social media sites your kids use and read the comments and questions.

Educate them about the dangers and potential risks of these websites. They should know how raw their emotions can become when exposed to cyberbullies. Also, equally important is for them not to become cyberbullies themselves. Hiding behind anonymity can be enticing but can only hurt those you are attacking. For this reason we give Formspring.com "Two Thumbs Down!"

Deb Marsden is an experienced Internet training customer support manager.

Deb and her good friend and equally experienced customer support gal,Lee Ann, have joined forces and offer their services to computer newbies and not so newbies, solve issues they may have in learning how to use their computer.

Also, for those Internet entrepreneurs who want help with their personal branding...this team has lots to offer.

Download Lists of Data For Building Drop Down Menus, Lists of Countries to Makes of Cars Etc

Downloadable data lists are invaluable to website designers.

If you are a website designer you'll probably be familiar with the following example of the problematic issue of obtaining lists of data to use in a handy, downloadable format.

Let's imagine that your client approaches you to create a community website for, let's say, a dog owners' club. In this online community, the owners offer mutual time swapping dog-sitting and feeding services to nearby co-members on a mutual no-cost basis.

When a dog owner creates his or her profile, there is likely to be a requirement for a drop-down list or menu, enabling the website visitor to choose from a menu, probably coded thus: example dog breed , another dog breed , and so on.

So, you'd think it would be easy enough to obtain a list of popular dog breeds to create a list for either an SQL database or a simple option tagged list, huh? Think again! Just try if for yourself. Google-up "list of popular dog breeds". You'll find lots of information about dog breeds, not least from Wikipedia and other excellent resources, but there's a whole lot of work involved in creating a usable list from a bunch of hyperlinks on a page.

First you've got to check whether the list is up-to-date and relevant. How? By Googling-up every entry on your list to check its authenticity? Then you'll need to strip out all the hyperlinks, images and all the other trash you don't need to copy into a spreadsheet program to remove duplicates and list everything in its desired order.

This all takes time, and as any designer knows, time is money.

Instead, wouldn't it be nice to find a website where can you use an affordable one-click solution, to download an alphabetically-sorted list of places / items / cars / countries / dog breeds or whatever, ready to copy and paste, right out of the box? Well, the good news is that it's right here (see resource below).

This 'list of lists' website is growing every week, and although still in its infancy, the site is already carrying over 20 lists from airlines through to occupations. The lists are regularly reviewed and updated in response to customer queries and by this time next year there should be several hundred data lists ready to download in varying formats. The site's owners also offer a bespoke list-building service in response to specific queries, which can be surprisingly affordable.

Prices of downloadable data lists from the site vary from US$ 5.00 for really basic lists to ten times that amount for a list containing thousands of entries. There's an RSS feed too, so designers can be kept up to date with any lists that they might need to know about on an ongoing basis. http://www.dropdownlistdata.co.uk

Why Mobile Marketing Is Important for Business

In a world where technology is developing at a rapid pace, you need to be one step ahead of the game when it comes to promoting your business, or someone else's products.

This is why mobiles are so important, and not to be shrugged off as just a fad that won't last. With over 5.billion people wandering around with some kind of phone, whether it be an iPhone, Nokia, Blackberry, you really have a great chance of generating interested customers in your product if you advertise via mobiles.

But mobile marketing is more than just about raking in more profits, it's about literally getting up close and personal (direct) with clients. SMS text messaging is the new email marking, where regular SMS alerts are sent out to customers keeping them in touch with new offers, bargains, freebies, and anything else they might be interested in.

Not only is this new technology ideal for big business, it is also ideal for smaller/medium sized businesses too.

Bloggers, and website owners can not only advertise their sites via optimised websites for mobile, but can also send customers to affiliate offers through mobile optimised opt-in forms too.

And what's even better is you don't have to be a techno-whizz to be able to learn how to do all this mobile marketing malarkey. Learning how to set up simple campaigns is a doddle, and there's no reason why yo can't be up and running with your own designed iPhone Applications within an hour.

Mobile marketing is definitely the next wave of marketing businesses and products online. Just think of all those sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Wikipedia who have gone mobile already. If you don't catch up in the race, you will be left behind.

Next, if you are eager to get started with mobile marketing, and want to find out how to design mobile-ready websites, and your own applications, without spending a bomb, then go to this link below, and collect your FREE guide which tells you all about it, and more.... http://www.chris-gaynor.com

The Pros And Cons Of Wealthy Affiliate

Wealthy affiliate is a bit different than other programs: It's a membership base site. On a good note, a site should really maintain good and latest content in order to keep their members. When I checked their content I found there's a lot of heck. The organization is really impressive.

They have three levels for their members: newbie, average and advanced. They also offer reasonable time-frame to see their material. The material is classified into courses, guides and downloads. There's many content! And is comparatively best and useful

However it wasn't the material that actually wowed numerous peoples about this brand-new Wealthy Affiliate IM program, it's their community! The question and answer discussion board was fine built (with about 160,000 open posts approximately).

Additionally, the Internet Marketing gurus and the WA founders, Kyle & Carson, will help through the discussion board also through PM. The WA community looks really effective and ready to answer any queries you might have.

WA as well adopts a lot of the latest online features directly inside their community. This comprises:

WA Space - like Twitter

WA Share zone - Shares the material with many other members

WA Gold - You will be paid for contributing something to WA

WApedia - it is own Wikipedia concentrating on profitable terms

Additionally there is wealthy affiliate review Jobs section where you could bid on some projects and even post some projects. Just like a freelancer, this perhaps a best method of discovering work with lowest service charges.

Advantages:

WA was among the 1st money making programs that I signed up before four years. It has only basic features at that time, however, a year later WA 2.0 was released and it really had some advancement. After then, they've been adding tons of applications and resources.

They in fact included their own web browser based web designing application titled as SiteRubix (which is among the easiest web designing application I've used online) and free hosting.

It has most well-established discussion boards on affiliate programs. They're as well building a social network site and integrating them within their own portal.

Disadvantages:

The training is best, however they lacks in stepwise video education. Being as a membership base site, there's fees to be paid every month (although, paying up on the yearly basis could bring down the cost to as small as 29.99 dollars per month). The charge for membership plan is a bit little particularly compared to many other similar sites.
