first, there's usually enthusiasm, which tends to take over our entire lives, sometimes to the point where we can't sleep because we're just so darned excited.

By uttering those kind of phrases, you're not expecting anything different from your last failure.

Instead, you should endeavour to move forward, learn by the mistakes you made last time - be it to work harder, to be less distracted/more focused and expect to get the results you're looking for.

How do your words get assembled in the first place? They begin as thoughts, either consciously or sub-consciously.

The language you speak is simply a manifestation of the way that your mind thinks and the belief system that it has.

So, be careful when assembling your thoughts.

If you find that your language is of the negative kind, then you really do need to take measures to get rid of all those negative self-beliefs, whether it's coming from deep within yourself or from people with whom you are associating.

Parents at his nursery school asked me how I taught him to read. I told them about my box of random teaching tools and about our 20 minute focused sessions. It was at that point, I realized there might be a business in his success, so I created an educational toy.
